Arwon - I'm european, so there are no TV differences. We're in a different region, but that's nothing a quick DVD region hack can't fix.

Taryn - Casablanka? Well I think the version starring Peter beardsley and Nora Dinglebat is the definitive one *hears crickets chirping as no one gets the pub*

*coughs* Anyways, I agree with you about Psycho, some of the things Gus Van Sant added in there were unnessecary. I also prefer the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", but that's just me

The first Rock Album? Blimey....

if it's Rock and Roll, then you could go with Bill Haley and the Comets. Blimey how vague are they... as for my picks....

Science Fiction/Speculative - The Matrix, Brazil or 1984
Western - Unforgiven, Back to the future 3 and Feivel goes west (I HATE Westerns!)
Mystery/Horror - Nightmare on Elm Street 1, Scream
Adventure - Any Indiana Jones Film, The Mummy,,
Foreign - Battle Royale (no contest)
Classics - Psycho, Casablanca
Silent Films - Nosferatu is a good one.
Musicals - Singin in the Rain, Wizard of Oz or Little Shop of Horrors
Documentary - Farenheit 9/11
Comedy - American Pie, The Blues Brothers,
Biography - "What's Love got to do with it", "Quills", (LOL I wonder what your tutor would say if you turned in the latter!)
Social Commentary - Bowling for Columbine, Rollerball (70's edition)
Historial Commentary - The Great Escape, Braveheart (alright, not much commentary there...)
Drama - Fight Club, Seven
Animation - Spirited Away, you KNOW you want to.

Nice! Unfortunately, Stepmania has replaced all my DDR needs though, I'll just pick up the bumper pack at a later date.

I have a CD/MP3 combo, it's a cheapo one I got from Agros but it's served me well. I'm saving up for a MP3 Jukebox though, probably an Ipod.

I used to listen to his show every night on my way home from work. He was excellent to listen to and his taste in music was so eclectic he made me look small minded. He introduced me to "Seven nation Army"

Colleen - I THINK I got what you mean. You are your own Grandpa. Got it.

In Britain a "Div" is an insult meaning "Stupid idiot".

Jeff Wayne's WotW > Orson Welles WotW. It's more faithful to the book too :0

Anyone heard the album?

GOuranga does NOT come from GTA. It's true I've seen it for years on motorway bridges and flyposted on abandoned buildings everywhere. It's a Hare Krishna thing, one once stopped me in the street and asked me to say "Gouranga" it means "Be Happy" or something. And no, he hadn't lifted my wallet

As long as you view it as a hollywood-isation of the series then it works well. I LOVE the dire-logue The jokey style. it's the only FF to date I've sold though, and I'ma single perverted young adult who could do with some skin in his life

*shakes head and sighs*

America, America, America, what on earth are you doing.... why did you have to vote THAT idiot back in.

Mind you.... next year we'll have our chance at the polls to get rid of his best mate, so don't you worry

At the time of typing, it's still too close to call, but if Bush wins either New Mexico or Nevada, the squabbling over Ohio doesn't matter. As it stands he has a couple thousand lead in New Mexico and Nevda (and about a lead of 130,000 in Ohio).

Looks like fear won out over common sense. *sighs*

It's 254/252 right now. it can't be much closer than that Mind you only the most optimistic of people can consider the fact that Kerry will win Ohio, he's about 130,000 votes behind.

Anya - Shame on you, how can you compare the greatest Sonic game of all time with that pale imitation of a 15 year old Arcade game (As Sonic 3D blast is basically just FLicky with Sonic in it). I had to pick myself up from the floor then, as I'd give ANYTHING to play Sonic CD again....

To be honest I've never been a huge Star Wars fan (I was a TNG Trekkie ), but even I got butterflies when I saw Yoda kicking arse in EP 2. I'm now DL-ing the trailer, thanks to Bittorrent. I'll comment when I see it
