| For my purposes (PHP) EditPlus works fine for syntax highlighting. Editors with big project management sidebars are too bloated for my tastes. EditPlus is like Notepad, only with pretty colors and more options. Also, the Editeur page doesn't mention anything about being able to customize exactly how the syntax highlighting works, which you can do in EditPlus. Your shit smells bad, my shit smells like strawberries!  Okay, I'm biased. |

| You mean, so they could be @included or linked to? It may seem counter-intuitive, but that would probably be easier if they kept the CSS in the database and had a php file that output the appropriate information when given an argument, such as userid. Like, userstyle.php?id=282 for example. This would avoid a lot of messy file-reading and -writing. | Is the 32-character limit in the database itself or is that the maxlength of the fields in register and edit user? I seem to remember Jesper changing Legion's name to something extremely long at one point by doing it through the database. | |||

| I shut it down whenever I'm not using it (sleeping, mostly) because the electricity bill affects me directly. Depending on the activity of jupiter or something I might shut down or hibernate. I've never had any luck with standby on this computer, it likes to wake up immediately. It does have an odd behavior when I turn it on, which might be related to what BMF was talking about.. if it's been off but plugged in for a long time, when I start it up the lights blink and then it won't do anything. I have to do that, then unplug it (or turn off the power strip) for about thirty seconds, then plug it in and turn it on. (It doesn't work to unplug it before I let it blink the lights, it's like it needs to discharge or something.) It doesn't develop this problem if it's not plugged in while off, so I turn the power strip off too when shutting down. |

| Okay. I can't draw, and sprite comics suck unless the sprites are customized and awesome. Which mine aren't. So, I would like someone very nice to draw this in a way that best gets across the meaning. For the purposes of this thread, I don't care if you think the strip is funny, I don't care if you think the strip is the worst thing ever. I'm just looking for it to be illustrated. I'd prefer something more cartoony than 'realistic.' The activities going on and the panel placements are merely serving suggestions, not mandatory. Okay, here's the strip.
