Not exactly sure, but I think it raises your attack by 5 when your in peril.

After spending a night of trying all of the recipies, I now see the point of Kratos' reliance on power rush. The trial stew (wow, what a terrible item for the cooking required) instantly sucks away all of your FP and leaves Mario with 1 HP (instant peril). That's a pretty smart strategy. If thats his choice...

Hmm... smart cookie I give you an A+

Update -- Finally beat the game with a complete journal.

In all honesty, I really didn't find Bonetail much of a challenge. I entered the pit loaded with Life Shrooms and Jelly Ultras, but I only used 2 Life Shrooms (actually Goombella stole them). I think a good chunk of victory came from luck; I found a Mover on floor 95 when I was in pretty rough shape.

Actually, I kind of prefer the Paper Mario GFX. I think a lot of the old SMRPG enemies would look good paperized. *thinking of the Axem Rangers*

Getting all of the recipies isn't all that hard, but it takes quite a bit of time, not to mention constant running from town to town.

It's me again. For the longest time I've been looking for a great MIDI composer. All of the ones I've found so far either give you randomized music, or are difficult to use. I need one that is easy to use, with lots of musical capabilities and that applies the concept of WYSIWYG.
