Hi there. Obviously, I'm new here. I wont be too much of a pain in the ass. I'm a long time forum visiter to another Acmlm forum called Stifu's Board.

I recently downloaded Lunar Magic and I love it! I used to start making RPGs using a program called RPG Maker. It got boring pretty quickly for me, even though I love RPGs. Hopefully, I'll be able to stick with making my own Mario World game. I've impressed myself so far.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Yup, I am from Australia. We don't really talk like that Steve Irwin (a.k.a the Crocodile Hunter) guy. He's annoying! And there're no kangaroos or koalas in our backyards. :p

Never liked that "leet" language, lol. Mainly 'cause I never learnt it.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass. I got a few problems and was wondering if anyone could help.

1: On the overworld, I've placed Mario ontop of a yellow stage (no Yoshi House). The sprite is doing it's normal movement but it's acting like he's not sitting on the stage. There's no level name up the top and when I push 'B', it takes me to level 000 which is the bonus stage.

2: Yoshi Coins don't overlap tiles.

3: I have no idea on how to make the next level open up on the overworld. I've flicked through the 'help' and I've fiddled around with alot of those green paths. But still couldn't figure it out.

Thanks alot for your help and sorry again.

Is there anyway to make it so that the screen will follow me all the time? At the moment, it wont move up unless I'm running and jumping. I'm pretty sure this is my last problem.

Thanks again

Thanks a million!

...One other problem. Sorry

Well, I had that tile-ish looking squares in my background, I read that to get rid of it, I had to go into something from the 'Secondary Entrance' menu. I think I did something wrong, because not only did I not fix my problem, I made it bad because now whenever I enter the stage, the screen starts off up the top and as it's scrolling down, I die for no reason. There's also alot of muck-up in the background.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass *Hangs head in shame*

Hmm... 1 tiny tiny little thing. South-east of the main town, there's a tile underneath a shrub, when you pull the shrub out, it looks like you pulled the tile with it.

Hmm... I didn't even get to the first place... You need to block off ALOT of areas 'cause I went into a dungeon I think I wasn't supposed to be in.

Wow! I'm pretty suprised by a nice welcoming. Thanks everyone.

Whew! Okay!

I'm getting close to halfway of my first world, pretty pleased with my overworld.

Newest Problem: (Lol) Hmm... Well, I'm trying to make good events on the world map, and I've just made a level with 2 exits. I've done the normal exit properly, but when I go through my secret exit, it plays the event from the original that goes from YOSHI'S ISLAND 3, to YOSHI'S ISLAND 4 (the first water stage). I walk left, but the correct event doesn't play and the next stage's yellow spot doesn't appear.

Okay, now, the reason I think I stuffed up is because in the 'Modify Level Settings' menu, it says "Notes: You can only set one event to pass per level number. Using a secret exit activates the above event number+1"

I was using event #2 for the stage, so I thought it meant I have to use event #3 for the secret area. Was I wrong?

I'd say this is the best hack I've ever seen. The OW is usually what ruins a hack, but this one is good. I don't think I'll finish my hack, so maybe you'd like to have a look at my stages and might like to use them? I'm pretty pleased with my OW and level layouts and hopefully, you will be too

I 'was' just about to compliment you on how georgous that OW is... But then I realized it wasn't yours. I give you credit for your backgrounds, I like them. But I've never been fond of YI graphics.

You should really make your own OW though.

I'm still with the very first message board I signed up with.
It's another Acmlm board =D

http://stifu.free.fr/Board/index.php

That place is mostly about RPG Making and just gaming in general.
Stifu's a good man, helps out whenever he can (which is almost always) and he isn't affraid of a challenge.

He's too good at Bomberman, though

Which reminds me... Anyone good at Super Mario Kart and want a good challenge?
But be warned... I have dial up.

I think I have mastered using Mario. Once you are able to predict your opponents moves, there's no hope. That's what's different about me than from most other people: They can't guess what I'm going to do next. And I'm an expert at predicting other people.

Anyone who has projectiles are no match for me. I just rebound them with my cape!
My friend uses Samus, and I can't remember when the last time was when he actually got a fully charged Charge Beam to hit me. It's like a sixth sense or something... I just know when they're gonna do something.

Forward + B

I only wish I could enter a competition or something.

I have 180 hours of 'Power Time'. And my friend is pretty good with Samus. He does try to shoot me in mid-air. I just use my cape and he gets the damage. He tries everything.
I don't use my cape on anything unless I know it's gonna hit. Link is more of a challenge to beat his projectiles. Still easy done for me though. I just wish there was a way I could see how good I was...

I know a skill that not many people have learnt, too.
Ever accidently caught a Beam Sword that's been thrown at you full speed? It's all about timing... Wait untill it's just about to hit, then just hit the Z button.

Has anyone done that thing where you call Fox's friends and they just say stuff, then fly off? You gotta pick Falco or Fox and play one of their stages. Just get away from the enemy, because you'll be forzen for a while. Just quickly push left and right over and over on the D-Pad. Usually it'll happen straight away, but sometimes it doesn't.

That Boomberang - Hook-shot trick sounds weird! I wanna try it, only my Gamecube got stolen by a guy who was living with us... I spent so much on that.

Please, please, please don't believe that stupid stereotype. Us Aussies aren't 'that' bad. Thanks to those dumbass actors and stuff, everyone thinks we all say "Crikey!"

... And sure Vegemite is really bad, but Lamingtons are goood!!! (Australian foods)
