All you who say that Pizza Hut is not the world's greatest pizza ever are, quite simply, wrong. Pizza Hut is the best. Pizza Hut will always be the best.

I don't see what's wrong with spending $100 on pizza a month. I probably did that just this past month, May, and I didn't spend as much there as I normally do.

I could just go on and on and on about how great Pizza Hut is... so I will . The dough, itself, so terrific, so chewy, slightly crispy, golden-brown... how tasty it is! Least for pan crust. And then the cheese, the succulent, oozing, delicious, melty cheese, so much on each slice. But most importantly, the tomato sauce, the... ooh, just... ooh !

Pizza Hut, I could marry you.

Nya nya nya nya nya ! Nice to see there are already people here out to get me. No pizza is better than a Pizza Hut pizza, and anyone who disgraces the Pizza Hut name gets a piano dropped on them.

I could just get a large fry and a small fry to get my Supersize fix. No one's gonna' stop me from my fries !

Anyway, not one person has yet mentioned Chick-Fil-A or Popeyes. I am ashamed of you all, ashamed! I'm also ashamed that there're only two choices on the poll, but that's for another day....

Ridiculous. The more often you got it, the more often you could enjoy it. Pizza's best when eaten 5 or more times a week .

How can you get fire flowers out of the giant question marks, as opposed to the super leaves? I've tried switching the boxes that product flowers and leaves, but it does not seem to affect the giant question mark boxes....

Thank you, but I'm afraid it didn't help much. I guess I should've specified, but I didn't mean those giant ? blocks, but the ones found in Giant Land. The ones that that can be used with other enemies without looking like a glitched mess .

Thanks: that works . And for another stupid question: where can I find that little dohickey that edits the items in Toad Houses and Hammer Brothers? I can't seem to find that anywhere....

Not quite what I wanted... oh well. Yet another question: I seem to have forgotten how to switch between the hilly graphics and the underground graphics. When I try to switch, I'm forced to enter the level with the "wrong" graphics set, with glitchy graphics: if I try to enter a level with the "proper" graphics set, I get a completely garbage level, or the game just crashes.

Thank you... and yet another question. Sometimes when I edit the pointers on the map, they don't seem to work when actually playing the game. Why is that, and how can I get them to work?

On a similar subject to his, is there a way to change the "flash time" after getting hit? Specifically, I never cared for having a ton of flash time after changing back to Super Mario, but getting only a split second after changing back to regular Mario: I always thought the reverse would've made more sense (getting longer flash time changing to regular Mario, and less flash time changing to Super Mario).

Yay! My hack isn't the worst! Not that I really thought it was... just not one of the best ones, either. It's currently going through a bit of an overhaul, though .

If I may make a few suggestions, which you may listen to, or just laugh in my face:

A longer time limit would be nice, considering how complex the stages are. I feel like I need to rush a little too much, and not be able to "explore" more. I'm sure it could be done easily; the question is whether or not you feel longer time limits are needed, or whether anyone else feels so as well.

Not as easy would be a sound effect when your "breathing time" is almost up would be nice: I don't know how feasible it would be for you, though. I've died a couple of times from simply "forgetting" that I had to breathe .

I particularly like the "beach" stage: not surprising to you, I'm sure, considering I've done something like that with the water in the background in a few levels of the (not as good as yours) hack I'm working on.

Don't know yet whether I'll like it more or less than Mario Adventure; guess I'll need to wait for the full release. Either way, you're making the hack I'm working on look sucky in comparison, which is good for you, anyway .

I'm guessing by 78 savestates per level, you're referring to my hack ....

Yeah... I know it's pretty impossible. Some people say it's way too hard, and some others have told me they like the insane difficulty. I just don't know what to do .

Posted on 06-20-04 09:05 AM, in Custom Blocks: How many? Link
I am absolutely stunned by the number of people here who have voted that a hack needs a gazillion different custom blocks to be any good.

A better answer would be a minimal number of custom blocks. It seems, dare I say, stupid just to put in lots of different custom blocks just for the sake of having a hack with a gazillion different custom blocks. Simply using the blocks that are useful per your level designs, or using the blocks you like, should suffice.

There is nothing necessarily wrong with basing an entire level around custom blocks, so long as there are not too many such levels. Likewise, there is nothing wrong with using only a few custom blocks in a hack, even if those few are only used sparingly. Just use what you like, and no one should feel any compulsion to include more custom blocks just for the sake of including more custom blocks.

Except in Super Mario Bros. 3, they are not the same thing. So please don't pretend you understand what he's talking about when you apparently don't. Thank you.
