Well, I pretty much have it down pat making it, but I have one problem... I can't figure out the exit tiles. I may have to resort to only using pipes or stars if I can't figure out that window that comes up. Whenever I try to make one, when Mario walks thru it he comes out the same place he went in, goes up again, and makes a cycle- up, warp. up, warp. up, warp etc etc. Can someone help me with these please? |

Yeah, they're facing opposite directions, but do they have to be lined up? like | | | E E | | | | or can they be like ....| ....| ....E E | | | ARG! FLIBBBBIBBT! and also, now when I'm making world 2, and note I still don't have them connected, when I alter events for a future level it automatically changes some of my events from the beginning of the world. This overworld thing is REALLY frustrating me. I'm in front of my computer with stomach and shoulder cramps from being frustrated with the overworld... Please please please help... It's almost like the ROM is not wanting me to change things... It's driving me nuts and if one more thing like this happens, i'm resigning from hacking altogether. Like to add fireballs or Koopas, or bullet bills or something, or to change the number of times you must hit the boss. Mainly thinking of the Koopa Kids here. |

Sorry I'm annoying XD Anyway, I'm wondering how to make an .ips patch from my hacked ROM. I have a demo in the works and want to release a demo within the next few days... I got screenies! My levels are made for Mario veterans, but you don't have to be 1337 or use fifty billion savestates to beat them. The biggest complaint is probably going to be that they are too short. And finally, it was going to be better, but my OW is now a half-assed thing based on the original SMW overworld. The story fits into this. (edited by Handish2000 on 06-23-04 03:44 PM) |

I would also use a different palette for that WORLD bit. It looks kinda... terrible with the full outline. Done. I kinda agree with you there. I was going for a parchment look but that didn't turn out. I think it looks better now. (edited by Handish2000 on 06-23-04 04:14 PM) |

You've got it all wrong regarding the 3rd shot. Those are not falling spikes OR candles. Kudos to anyone who realizes what they are. They are not supposed to be there but Iggy likes them. |

Alright, got another problem with my boss. I put Bullet Bills in Morton's level, and they work fine, but when Mario goes into the level he spawns to the left of the left wall, where I can't hit Morton. Why does he spawn there? His entry point on Morton's map is not there. It's further into the middle of the arena. |

Nope. I didn't move him then. I've moved him since then to try to correct the issue, but no cigar. I may have to load a Morton level from the original SMW and change it again. | |||

Dubbed usually, but I don't mind watching subbed once in a while. Some anime's dub sucks IMO anyway. (Example: DBZ, Inu Yasha) |
