Anything that fits their agenda, yes.

Of note was the "MS anti-Spyware Tool Detects Firefox as Spyware" story. They put it up with obviously NO fact-checking done whatsoever, then when NO LESS THAN THE AUTHOR OF THE PICTURE/ARTICLE said "It's a fake! Way to suck, Slashdot!" only added a note saying "Several people have pointed out it is likely fake."

That pretty much made me lose all respect for /. as a legitimate news site.

So yeah. That's my problem with Slashdot.

Gotta pick four, huh?

1. Mega Man 2- Dr. Wily Stage 1. Oh come on, there's a reason it's so over-covered in the VG cover scene.

2. Metroid- Kraid. See above, basically. For the Dwelling of Duels Metroid Month, I was one of many who chose to cover it. The fact I couldn't learn the "runs" on bass in time still annoys me.

3. Ys- Final Battle. Really, just about EVERY song in Ys I & II for the Duo rocks your face in. I'm picking this one pretty much at random, but this game had to be in there.

4. F-Zero GX- Story Mode Credits Theme (Our Hero, I think it's called). A current favorite of mine, basically just cheesy goodness. I covered this for the recent DoD free month just to have fun. The best part was receiving FOUR comments on my "terrible guitar tone".

Truthfully, I didn't have enough interaction with him as a staff member to give my opinion on him one way or the other in that regard.

But from what I saw, he was a cool guy, and will be missed.

No, because 25 karat gold doesn't exist.

Karats, as they relate to gold, are a measure of the purity of the gold. 24K gold is considered "pure" gold, and is thus the highest Karat gold available.

Also, I heard this was just a cover for the PSP, but I haven't read this particular article myself.

Origins actually has two difficulty levels--the original (Which is actually slightly HARDER than the original), and an Easy mode that isn't quite the same as Dawn of Souls but does make the game much easier (Stuff costs less, easier to levels, max casts of magic per level is 99 instead of 9).

EDIT: Oh yeah, I should answer the question:

I used the recommended beginner party of Knight/Master/White Wizard/Black Wizard.

On Origins, I went Knight/Master/Master/Black Wizard...any healing I needed came from potions, and Haste = GOOD.

So yeah, just beat Ys: The Ark of Napishtim.

Started it on Hard now, and it actually is quite a bit more difficult. Enemies have more health and do more damage. I don't even want to think about Nightmare just yet.

And there's a Time Attack mode too, though I'll probably burn myself out on the game before I get to that.
