that's interesting...i wonder how he plays? i use paratrooper as my main character and I like this game a lot. The special moves make a tennis game last longer than it would have.

Firefox/IE although I use Firefox mostly at home. I had to force myself to get rid of the IE shortcut in my Quick Launch toolbar to use Firefox.

I still I use IE because at work we have Netscape as the alternative and there are certain games that use ActiveX to get started

The game is fun so it isn't a big deal.

you need

1) a computer to run on
2) some type of internet connection -- broadband is preferrable
3) know your IP address (static IP is better than dynamic IP)
4) software that will manage the FTP

The key part of the server is the software that monitors the port in which people connect to server. As for what software, it seems you wil have to pay for the software. I found a list here

are you sure you didn't go to the board, and forget about it for about 8 minutes?

anyways, that small fraction helps? As for being off 2 minutes, that is typically the case. Although, right now in comparison to my watch, the board is off by 4 minutes now...

C is the best readable language to touch memory you aren't supposed to touch. However, assembly is the best since you can go anywhere in memory you want...

Anyways, I believe HyperHacker wrote something that allows you to read the memory contents of any program...

did you read the article? the kid drove to the video store, saw it was closed, and then drove back home.

anyways, i wonder how far the store is from the apartment complex. Since the kid couldn't reach the petals, he had to coast his way there....

as for slow--java is mostly for server or cross platform applications. using to write a CPU demanding game is usually out of the question but there is a debate between C vs. Java so yeah. To me, they are equally as fast with computers today. But C is more efficient since it compiles to CPU code while Java must run through an interpreter. Slowness also is influenced by computer make up--Java runs just fine for me but if the HD is going constantly then well, it is almost impossible to run.

Anyways, Java (to me) is the best way to learn Object Oriented Programming. C++ has nasty syntax that doesn't make it kind to OOP learning.

you can use Visual Basic to do that but I highly recommend you to NOT do that at all. GLUT is an OpenGL abstraction layer that enables you to build graphics based applications without having to learn how to make windows. Otherwise, you'd have to learn how to use the Windows API or MFC to do what you want to do.

As for ease, there is source code out there to show you how it is done. Try a search for "displaying BMP files in " at Google

it could have been Volume Control that was involed to since Winamp amplifies the Volume control setting. (I'm not sure how musicmatch uses Volume Control)

As for preventing MusicMatch from accessing the net--if you can figure out where on the internet is going, by editing the HOSTS file on your Windows computer, you can make it point to yourown computer (that is if the computer is not using an IP address to talk).

Anyways, have you tried the Norton support site? I figure someone there has asked your question.

game being fixed?

how could a football game be fixed? If the game was fixed I don't think T.O. would go for that. Anyways, i don't think that is possible. Although a German Soccer game was fixed but the referees were paid though. What would the referees do here? There is instant replay too so yeah...

Anyways, I think those people just wanted to blame something that they had no control over

Mozilla on the UNIX terminals at my school
FIrefox at home

It will be sometime before I switch to Thunderbird. Probably will happen when I abandon POP use of my email accounts. Unless someone has figured out a way to be able to access hotmail accounts through Thunderbird.
