| yes int and switch are reserved words in C/C++/Java but I haven't had the need to use them as a variable name in any form. In VB, you can you any, ANy, aNy, etc. (that is why I made that comment) As for comments telling you about your variables, if you program by yourself you have your point. But in a company, that doesn't matter you need to comment. So yeah, this talk about having to "remember" someone else's variables as a reason to have case insensitivity is irrelevant because comments will take care of that (if you work for a company). I can't say for code you use from code-repository, on the other hand. None of that stuff is standardized so why complain? |

| I always shut down the computer since it costs my parents money--although they don't complain when i run it overnight sometimes. But anyways, I guess if I lived on my own, I probalby wouldn't do the same since I don't have anything that requires the computer to be on. Plus, I'm around computers all day so I don't have a need to have it on all day. | |||

| there isn't any doubt of whether T.O. is going to play. Belichick (sp?) showed some sign he was tired of answering that question. I think this game is going to break the cycle of blowouts, close one, blowouts, close one. I think too this game is going to be close but the Patriots will come out on top by a leg | |||

| according to my organic chemistry teacher, he says that the world isn't really running out of oil but rather running out of oil that is profitable. He says that there are plenty of places that has oil that is usable. For example, in the rocky mountains, there is supposedly shale oil--oil that is embedded in rock. However, the only way to get the oil out is to essentially do the same process you take water out of a sponge--you squeeze it. Also, in Canada there are some tar pits up there. But those tar pits are filled will other stuff besides oil that extracting the oil out isn't very profitable right now. There are a few more places like that so yeah. So, anyone believe my chemistry teacher?  |

| yeah, i'm kinda sad to hear that Enterprise isn't going to be renewed for a 5th season. The 4th season started off interesting but I haven't watched it for the past few months. It was difficult for it considering TNG, DS9, and Voyager came before it. Even Voyager was going to get cancelled until Seven of Nine came along. Well, I guess one could say it is amazing that it lasted this long. Well, for the star trek fans, let's hope that this isn't the end of it. |

| Yup, one of the patriot's strengths is they don't need a superstar--they just need people to do their jobs. In my option, no one on the Patriots is intimidating. There isn't really anyone on the Patriots' to focus on because you practically have to focus on everyone. Everyone contributes in every game. The same can be said about the Eagles for the most part but attention is on certain players, not the entire team and I think that is the shortfall for the Eagles. | |||
