i don't know the name but one suggestion i have is if you buy one, get one that can burn dual-layered DVDs (even though the media right now is ridiculously expensive). I have a hard time getting by with a single-layer DVD burner

hmm...well, I think to be safe, I might as well go download the operating system that I'm entitled to for free (thanks to an agreement with microsoft and my computer science department)

anyways, in time we'll see how this plays out

yeah, back in the old days, space was everything, so wasting space was not an option and therefore, where did they have to write? but I guess the point of the remark is due to that today computers are plentiful and why they aren't a bigger part of certain exams is the question here

I read in yesterday's paper about someone he may be trying to mimic: Jerry Rice. Back sometime in RIce injured his knee in the first game of the year. Determined to make it back in the same season, he made it in the last game--only to injure it again in that game and open the door for T.O. (and rice has never been the same again) So, like role model, like role model...kid?

heh..interesting... I've already pre-ordered this game back in November. I saw the Japanese trailer for it and I was like Yeah, the new look of the characters surprised me. I hope this is as enjoyable as the first one

It took me 8 months to beat the game (i finished it in 81 hours)

GUI programming is such a pain (with or without visual tools) since what you think is effective really isn't effective at all. Also, there are so many variables you have to deal with that most people overlook and don't program. Thus when a crash happens, the average user has no idea what to do.

I'm curious, what open source projects have good user interfaces (that are friendly)?

true but what is Windows Server 2003 in comparison to the current flagship OS of XP. Do many programs run on Windows Server 2003?

i see...well, i guess the question now is who in the population would use Windows Server 2003... I think between Server 2003 and XP, I think XP has bigger piracy problems.

you have to admit, dependance on Rice as greatly been reduced the last few years--i would think on the Seattle's final play they would have gone to Rice? I dunno.

anyways, I think T.O. won't let this opportunity to play go away--you will see him play in the Super Bowl

oh dang--that is so cool. It's been almost 1 year since the movie came out so I wonder how long it took to make. The non-lego parts of the movie are fairly cool (like the sparks when doc oc throws the police car)

hmm...anyone have any other lego movies?

i remember that--he was supposed to give the patriots a running offense back in the late 90s. He was lost playing flag football and so did the the running game. It didn't resurface until Dillion showed up.

Anyways, 1 more week until the Super Bowl

Interesting. Anyways if any of you are wondering, here is what the acronyms stand for

CSUH - California State Univeristy-Hayward
CSUEB - California State University-East Bay

The issue was the City of Hayward didn't want to lose the name from that university because the university is in the city. But the school wants to attract more people from around Hayward (the region that Hayward is in is called East Bay by the local folk)

The new US Secretary of Education was sworn into today and already as caused a ruckus before being officially sworn in. Apparently, she voiced concerns of an episode in a children's program aired on PBS called "Postcards from Buster". One of the episodes featured a child introducing her parents to the main character. These two parents are lesbian partners. However, the episode was not about same sex relationships. Nevertheless, the secretary stated she had "very serious concerns".

So, what do you think about that? Should children's programming be devoid of anything related to same sex relationships or otherwise? After a few posts, I'll voice my opinion.

Here is the article for those you want to know more: Children's TV fears a funding flap after 'Buster'

creepier? i'd probably go with neither. As for something creepy to say, how about, "I want to have your baby"

well, i think it will keep on going in Japan. The states is a different story. The video game market here is way different than it is in Japan. Remember, before the PSX, only three final fantasy games made it to the states.

Instead of remembering, I'd probably tried to get his ass fired since what company would allow code to be written like that? All companies have standards that must be followed because if they didn't, it'd cost the company more money and spending more money than you don't have to is the a company's way of life.

This debate on insensitivity brought up something else--where's the commenting? If the code is commented at the top with a list of variables and all that good things, then case sensitive or insensitive becomes an issue of just preference and well, we know how good debating preference is

My choice is case insensitivity because it frees up various names since i was annoyed at the fact that any, form, and type are reserved words in visual basic
