i see...well, 2d is a special case of 3d so I'm not sure why you need an exclusive 2d tutorial.

Anyways, if you can figure out how to load textures into OpenGL, then all you need to do is to draw a planar polygon and set as it's fill to be the texture.

Yup, VHS beat Betamax, Cassettes won versus 8-tracks, maybe third time is a charm?

I only have 100GB on my desktop that isn't enough for me to do the multimedia processing and temporary storage I use that computer for. Maybe I should just stop downloading but there are so much good stuff coming out.

Anyways 2GB of memory at this point is more than enough for the average Joe. Hardcore gamers need the memory as well as graphic designers and people who write video games since memory is a necessity in development.

There aren't that many languages he can use--it is either C or C++ (Java has a version but it is best to stick with their Java2D and use its OpenGL-based pipeline to do the work). Not sure if there are any other languages that can use OpenGL.

neotransotaku got up and held is hand out as if he was going to catch the oncoming beam

Laser physics...gotta love it...Light Screen

neotransotaku heated up a plane the size of his body and angled this plane such a way that when the beam made contact with this plane, it was redirected away from the two fighters in a fashion similar to what mirrors do with lasers

How about this...

neotransotaku charged up his fist and released the energy behind him, thus thrusting him in the direction of Star. With his glaive ready, he threw the glaive in front of himself and used the vacuum to pull him towards star. With the glaive as a shield (because of the superheating of the air due to friction), neotransotaku charged towards star like a road rage individual out for revenge

I can make a .exe file appear to be a .zip file just by changing the extention. This means that just because the file ends in .pak, this doesn't mean it is what you see it as. If you want to extract stuff out of a PSX games, you need utilities to do that. However, I do not believe anyone has written such a utility for the game. But you can try searching for one.

Um...hate to break it to you but that's life...not all of us can get to be popular or well known--i think i'm the most obscure staff member who regularly posts

but anyways, it seems what you have done isn't enough to make a lot of people check it out. Maybe you need a different way of presenting your stuff that will make more people see your work? use this as a way to critique your approach, not criticize others for not viewing.

i'm guessing you want to use the background for your posts? if so, then all you need to do in your profile here is to copy that link because that field says "The full URL of a picture showing up in the background of your posts" and that link is the full URL...

if you use that picture, you better make your font contrast well with it if you are going to write text over it...

because of the speed of the glaive was so great, neotransotaku's actual position from where he appeared to be was different. As a result, Star's attack missed and neotransotaku appeared above him (letting the glaive continued its course). At that moment, neotransotaku stomped down on Star, sending him into the ground
