list of missing files...think you can dump the list of files in your i386 folder (or the folder with all the XP files you have)? i can cross check with my XP CD

Try this:

1) Create new ext
2) Click 'Okay' on Folder Options
3) Reopen Folder Options
4) Make 1 change
5) Click 'Okay' on Folder Options
6) Repeat #3 if desired

I did run into problems in creating a new ext when I didn't do step 2 and tried to make changes after creating a new ext

well, maybe for 2.0, you'll set pre tag to ignore br in the global CSS or find a way to not insert br when you run into a pre tag

well, maybe you only have to close the 'folder options' only once after you create a new ext. I remember I was able to keep folder options open after that, I just had to close the advanced editor each time...or was that was what you were referring too?

also, I checked out the N64 extention i created in the registry, and it's entry did not look like any of ther other extention keys in the registry...

Files I have that you don't have
Files you have that I don't have

Something interesting is I don't have that cplexe.exe file on my CD. The CD I compared to is Windows XP SP0 Corporate Edition. It appears the CD you have is modified in some way...

Oh yeah, I only compared the i386 directory...

For command line style, you mean you are entering commands into the program right? not from say the DOS command line. Otherwise, I'd recommend you to write scripts to simplify your job or use Python to build an interface (i recommend Phython because it has the ability to run external command line)

I've never done such a thing, but just point out an alternative solution based on my interpretation of how you are using command line

I could slipstream SP2 onto my Windows XP CD and then compare. So, you are staying that if you install WinXP with the CD you have, you are installing WinXP that has had SP2 applied?

As for autoexec.bat, check out the %SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT

if you run command.com, then autoexec.nt will run.
if you run cmd.exe, then autoexec.nt will not run since it is a windows based program. so, maybe there is a flag for cmd that you can use...

change your global path to look for 'cmd' in another directory (i.e. C:\) before windows/system32. However, in that other directory, you need to make cmd.exe of your own that will run "cmd.exe /k yourautoexec.bat"

nevermind, that doesn't work...it seems cmd is hard coded into run...the closest thing to cmd I can think of is to make a batch file like ccmd or _cmd or something like that...

i'm back to 2nd now...after falling down to 5th because of low offensive output...however, i've improved my offense and finally found a stable lineup

Weed Wacker's lead has been trimmed to 5, after being as high as 20

time for the stretch run, who is going to make it

What's this Ghosting program you talk about? Or, is norton ghost the only way to ghost?

One of the things that bothers me was both Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Ivan were supposed to be a wake up call of such an event were to occur... Apparently, not much action was taken when these two storms came around.

I wonder though, if the levees did not break, would things be better? If this question has been answered then...okay, I'll read for it.

I bought a 128MB Geforce 6600GT over the summer for $120. A big upgrade from my 64MB Geforce2 MX400... I've always preferred nVidia cards although I've heard some ATi cards to outperform nVidia...

floppy drive problem--you put a disk in, run windows, double click on a: and it says disk not found? have you tried the floppy drive in another computer? (i'm guessing yes), have you looked at your BIOS settings to make sure it is set to 3.5" floppy disk? do you have your floppy controller enabled? (maybe somehow it was disabled in BIOS)

i dunno, with all these trivial problems, sounds like the motherboard has some type of hardware defect...
