neo: Basically you get dealt two cards at the start of your hand and then there's a betting period where you figure out if you're in or out. Usually you'll go in if you have two high cards, two same cards or two suited cards. Then you have 3 cards (flop) dealt down, then betting, then another card (turn), another round and then the final card (river).
