Zero and zero. Holidays are not about gifts and it makes me sick that the only time that people really care about each, is when the season comes around and everyone is at the mall getting matrial things for the people that they know. |
The way I see, its actually the most depressing time of year. But I won't get into my thoughts and rants about it. I just can't wait until its over. But I know what you're thinking...only people who are not getting a thing and are broke only say things like that. Yea, maybe you're right, but when you've been through 24 seasons of Christmas, you get a bit bitter. But even so, I still try to get cards out to those few people (and even more so now because of the board) but even this year, it's in low supply.

I hate the transportaion here. I had to take it for about 15 years. The busses are nasty, filled with drunks, druggies, and so forth. The bus station downtown is filled with bums and so on. And that's about all the public transportaion that we have here. The taxis are a rip, the metro rail is only in Miami and the AmTrack only takes you to certain places...none of which I want to go (and will end up taking a bus or taxi anyway). |
I've only been driving since I was around 20, and though I hate driving in traffic and I tend to feel traped when I do, I will do it, no matter the gas prices, because it is freedom to me. Well, unless it gets to be $5.00, but that's just damn right out there.

The movie was actually only suppose to be 45 minutes long, but since they added in a few extra things here and there, its now an hour...and who knows, it might be even longer than that once it finally comes out (hopefully). |

Always. I just do it, most of the time, I don't even notice until I actually think about this (like this thread). I think I do it moreso now, because I have a wireless controller and I don't have my cats going after the wires that keep moving. |

It has nothing to do with age with me...its just been like this for as long as I can remember. I mean, the holidays can be fun..but I don't see it has to be fun to spend money, get in debt, stand in long lines, right for a parking spot, and so forth. |
