Renaming of file extensions? Ever heard of that, kid? Or, you know, zipping the files individually?


I've had bad experiences in the past with changing extensions of picture files and sound files, so I try to do it the official/Photoshop(for images) way whenever I can. It works for me, and it's actually not hard to do.

Edit: I tried changing extensions, and guess what? IT DOESN'T WORK =D

Guess what? Rename it, upload it, download it, rename it back, and it WILL work. That's the renaming workaround. Have warez sites taught you nothing, kid?


Wait, are you saying this:

Rename bla.wav to bla.ogg
Upload it
Download it
Rename it back to bla.wav

Because that's not my problem. Changing it from .wav to .ogg and back to .wav is fine, it just won't work when I change it from .wav to .ogg.

I never had this or a SNES when I was little, so I can't have fond memories of it. This makes me a sad panda. However, the layout itself kicks ass, and the action lines are great. I hope you can continue with this tradition in October with another new layout.

"Lately" - hmmm, I haven't been around lately. Apparently the influx of utter morons who I would normally have banned multiple times by now, as well as insulted (along with help from Phil, Cymoro, wite, etc) and the ratio of these incoming morons to those who are being banned is way too high.

So, the board's a shithole now? Funny. Laff. Cymoro's list is going to get their recent posts reviewed by me. If I find any of them sub-par, off topic, unintelligable, random, or just plain STUPID... well, it's grey-paint time.

On a more serious note, we currently have two different political parties in this thread. I am calling them that because that's what you're acting like. We have the Reminiscers, the ones who loved how the board used to be and without some people that we don't enjoy, and the Don'tChangeNows, the group of people who don't think that the Golden Days will ever happen again, and that we're stuck with this 'shithole' (Quoted because I don't want it to seem like my opinion).

I could easily shoot down the Don'tChangeNow argument. You feel that no change is needed and that this place is not a "fucking utopia", as Hiryuu called it, which will never get better. You have to realise that this is where a lot of friends online gather, because these are their only friends. Maybe they don't want to leave, and maybe this is their utopia, a place where they can escape and be themselves. Of course, when things start to go bad, they start to want the old ways again because that's what they're accustomed to, and the way things are now is why some of their friends left.

No more Shroomy, Dani, Rand, or ACMLM? It's because this place changed, and those people don't like what it's become. Hell, look at Anya. She used to be so enthusiastic, and look now. For shame.

Also, notice how everyone else is reminiscing, and not actually wanting the change itself. You sit there and complain, but that's all they're going to do too. It'll never end. Accept it. After all, if we have to accept the fact that this place was never as good as it was before, then we should be allowed to reminisce.
