| "See? Wha'd I tell ya? No need cpus." Tuxydon doesn't have much time to calm down, though, when The Mob comes forth. "Hahahaha, time for battle. Here comes... Cyberaptor, watch carefully!" Tuxydon draws three throwing knives from his belt, and as he holds them, they burst into flame. He then chucks the three burning weapons at the ground in front of the Shyguy Squad, and they practically explode into tall firey waves that washes over the Squad. The three fire-shockwaves travel in a fanshot, covering large amounts of the grouped foes. "Learned that one recently. You got anything better?" Tuxydon challenges the Cpu dino. |

Here are a few more screens of my Hyrule progress. (Sorry, .bmp format but I was in a hurry) In this battle, you start with fighting 3 Octoroks. After 9 moves have been made (counting all allies and foes), two Leevers show up.  Buzz Blobs are nothing to mess around with. Whenever you attack it directly, the Counter Reflex activates and you receive from 10 to 39 HP damage. Also in this fight is the Peahat. Every time it makes 3 moves, it sparkles and becomes completely invincible for 3 turns. Wait for it to stop sparkling, then wail on it. I like making complicated Monster Groups, so let me tell you of some of the other adjustemnts I have made... In the first area (when you're fighting Goombas), there's a 50% chance that if you don't beat all enemies within 8 moves, Kuribo's Shoe enters the battle. He is a relitively tough foe for a beginner, but he earns you quite a bit of Exp. and G. In the second area (the Forest), you may meet a Fuzzy. These enemies, when alone, can use the Multiply ability and make a copy of itself. They only do that once per battle, however. In the cave, should you fell a Dry Bones, there is a 1/32 chance every 2 moves for him to auto-resurrect at 50% HP. In the fortress-- whoa, we have a lot here, folks-- Rotodiscs are completely invincible no matter what. The only way to beat them is by destroying the Rotodisc Ball. Then they both die. Then there is the Shy Jar, which can summon an endless amount of Shyguys. The Unshaven, when alone, attacks with HP Metamorphosis, which sucks your HP and uses it to create a copy of itself. It'll use that move no matter what as long as it's the only enemy left. Hotheads (giant Li'l Sparkies from SMW) will split into 2 Li'l Sparkies when beaten, and if you beat all other foes first, it'll explode and cause massive damage to all party members. I have plans for future enemies, too... In the mountains of Hyrule, there will be Desert Leevers, tougher versions of the normal Leever, that have an ability called Sand Trap. I've planned for this move to lower Attack and Agility as well as force you into Defense mode for 3 turns. The Ropa is an automatic self-healer, meaning he heals some of his HP every turn automatically. I'm still working out the rest. |

OOC: You made your first mistake. Energy charging must be done over turns, not length of posts. Easy to let slide this time, but no do again.  "Nice!" Schwa folds his arms across his body as his whole body flares brightly with blue ether. The damage is lowered quite a bit, and though Schwa took small damage he shows no signs. "If you are not Evil, I have no intention of "deleting" you, Forte. But it's time I introduce myself as well... "I am Schwa, Psi Warrior and embodyment of Good. My soul is infused with the Living Assets, Virtue, Respect and Honor. No matter how strong you are, I will be stronger. Watch." Schwa holds his right arm in the air, and rainbow-colored ether explodes from it, lighting the entire area with celestial brightness resembling a sun. The ether swirls all over the area, burning images in the mind of those who look directly at the swirls and forms... A few powerful viruses in the area that resemble demons of some kind shield their eyes at the sight of this heavenly sight. The ether dies down after about 12 seconds, and the viruses fall to a kneel and chant something illegible. "And that was less than a fraction of the power of the Living Assets. So I wouldn't brag about power if I were you. Now, should we do battle, I would be incapable of using that kind of force against you... I am a living Psi Warrior, and until I die, my body limits me to an a-hundreth of my true power. It is my SOUL that contains that power, not my body... my soul is stronger than all Holy Gods combined, as is every Psi Warrior in existance. "And that was a powerful attack you used! You too, Gospel! Congrats to both of you... You must be more than elite enough to combat viruses all over the Net. But I can't ignore a comment like "I shall delete you and absorb your power to add to my own". If you did that, you would destroy yourself, for the Living Assets that flow through me are off limits to those who have not been Chosen by them. But the hostility is enough, so... let us do battle. "As it stands right now, I am outnumbered. So what I will proceed to do is summon my guardian angel, Zraku. Come forth, Zraku!" Schwa waves his hands, and a blue portal opens next to him. Something steps out of the portal, and it closes. The creature that entered the area, Zraku, is in the form of a blue fox made of firey ether. It's eyes are silver and full of kindness. "Zraku, this is Forte and Gospel. We will be having a 2 on 2 battle. They are not Evil, so no killing, Zraku." Zraku speaks back, in a telepathic, echoing voice that all can hear. The voice is that of a 25 year old woman. "Thank you for telling me, Schwa... This wolf-creature's presence is enough to... infuriate me..." Schwa puts his hand on the ether-fox's head. His hand is seemingly not hurt. "Easy, Zraku... Sorry Forte, but Zraku takes combat more seriously than I do. This will be a clean two on two fight. You may both attack again, and we will counter. Note that I am not out to kill anyone, but I didn't approve of your comment so this fight is half-sparring, half-revenge. Go." Schwa and Zraku take offensive stances. They are 9 feet away from Forte and Gospel. |

| Spaky gets his hit on Korra, who falls down. But Ami immediately blasts him with an energy ring trio from her crystal before he can get to her. Her reflexes were fast, that's for sure... Then the spines. They shower the Gemini kids, but neither of them are poisoned, just hurt. Korra flinches. "Aah... This is getting too much. Time to turn the heat on. Ami, Burst Bomb." The two kids leap to the back of the kitchen, as Ami focues another pattern to her crystal. This time, it's a red-orange swirl. She places her palm on Korra's newly-remorphed arm-cannon, as the pattern is transferred to the cannon. Now the Team Buster is equipped with Burst Bomb. Panting hard, Korra looks up to their foes. "C'mon, this ain't over yet..." |

| OOC: I don't know how powerful the attacks are. I'll assume they're average damage, since they have no drawbacks. Also, you made another mistake... Only one Special Technique per turn (per character, one for Forte and one for Gospel, but Forte used two). We all learn from our mistakes, and you're still learning, so... "Interesting. You haven't fought an embodyment of Good before, have you?" Schwa flares up with blue ether as he fires pure Holy energy at the Hells Rolling attacks. The two opposite forces collide and create a powerful explosion of light and dark. Schwa is engulfed in the blast, and something is happening to him, but it's not clear what... (Should Forte be caught in the blast full on, he should recieve good damage.) Meanwhile, when Gospel attacks Zraku, Zraku counters with an energy blast of her own. Her breath weapon, instead of blue flame like Gospel, is bright purple ether; compressed Psychic energy. It should be about as strong as Gospel's attack, and immediately an explosion occurs there as well, not nearly as powerful as the light-dark blast but still something. Zraku backs up a small bit and is only nicked by the blast. "Do your worst, virus." Schwa then has to deal with the three shockwaves. As the light-dark blast clears, Schwa is glowing rainbow colors. He seemed to have absorbed the light energy from the blast and extracted it from the dark energy! (It damages him a small bit to do this.) He then releases the light energy in the form of a HUGE Holy/Psychic energy beam fired from his palms, which engulfs the shockwaves and destroys them. Schwa had purposely stepped to the side before attacking, though, so the beam wouldn't hit Forte... but why? "See? That's power. You and I are pretty evenly matched. Watch. Gyrowell Advance!" (echo effects) Schwa throws blue ether all over the arena, which swirls around and gathers in front of Schwa in the form of a white energy ball. The ball acts as a Gravity Well, pulling everything but Schwa and Zraku, steadily toward it. (Attacks too.) The force isn't strong enough to be devestating, but Forte and Gospel will have to be careful about how they attack and dodge with the force of gravity slightly diverted. That seems to be all he does... "Can ya keep the heat on?" |

| Korra does a sideflip to the left, avoiding the water jet, and fires his weapon into Speeky from across the room. A cannonball-sized sphere of orange flame flies out. Upon contact with anything, this sphere will explode into many, many small embers and flurry the area (area of effect attack). A direct hit with this sphere will do above-average damage, being caught in the embers will do light damage but sting. Korra still seems to have fight left in him. Ami hovers over to where Spaky went flying off to and tries zorching him with another beam as soon as she gets in range and he shows himself from under the pans. |

Well, personality is something I've always been good at... Mario's personality is HILARIOUS (IMO). (I just like the way he says things.  ) LoZ TV show? No comment.  (Actually the last time I saw that show was when I was 6 years old, so I don't remember a lot...  ) I don't know what I'm gonna do for Kirby, since he's not a big talker. I'll think of something. Dr. Wily will be hilarious, Metal Sonic will be kind of serious, and Pommy will just be plain great.The dialouge is good so far, for the most part. Time consuming, yes, but all worth it. And it is pretty linear, but once Link reaches Level 24 and learns Farore's Wind, he can travel to any town he's been to, and that is when the sidequests really start to appear in previous worlds. (You'll have to go out of order on occasions, doubling back to old Kingdoms to get the Spirit Prisms.) |

OOC: Merging, I believe, counts as a special technique and is perfectly legal. As for most of your attacks... in my opinion, they're godmodding. Advanced attacks HAVE to have a drawback. Your character has a permenant energy shield AND ultimately powerful attacks that don't require charging. I don't see that as very fair. I know your character is based off a game (one which, sorry to say, I know nothing about  ), but SBing is slightly different from video-games...When two players go at it in a battle, they really should be evenly matched. I kind of bent the limits myself in my last post, actually, but it was only to try and be equally matched with your characters. I would love to continue this fight with you, if possible, but what I will do first is get a mod's opinion on how this turned out. That way you can hear it from a pro, and you'll know I'm not just trying to confuse you. (Summons a mod...) |

| Suddenly, Dracoon has a powerful feeling that he will die if he doesn't dance. Schwa is about 10 feet away, hiding behind a corner, using powerful amounts of Psi to create that feeling in Dracoon. "Hehe, I love messin' with his mind," Schwa thinks. "Or is it even working? It better!" Meanwhile, Ami gets up after talking with Nimue. "They are dancing. Maybe I should. Do you believe in me?" she askes her. That's when Korra arrives. "Ami! My God, I am SO happy to see you! You like, disappeared!" He then notices something different about Ami. "Oh geez, your crystal is purple. That means... OhmyGod, that means somebody died!!!" Korra suddenly goes into panic. "All is not well in the chapel of the Arena! Be afraid!" Then he notices-- "Nimue!" and forgets all about being panicked. "Hi there, Nimue! Thanks for finding Ami for me! Long time no see! Hey, uh... did somebody die? Sorry if it sounds rude, but Ami's crystal is purple and that means she's repairing a damaged soul. That only happens when somebody close enough to her dies." While Korra is talking with Nimue, Ami secretly sneaks behind Korra and toward the dance floor... |

| "Hmm... Well, thanks to Kirby, we'll never know. But you can believe whatever you want." Tuxydon says, with a voice as purposely arrogant as he could possibly make it. He then starts forward. After about 30 seconds of walking, he whips around, brings out his crossbow, and fires into Cyberaptor, all in less than half a seocnd. "Watch out!!" Out fires a razor-sharp ice shard moving fast enough to pierce some kinds of armor. It's sacred ice, so fire can't melt it. After the attack is dodged (for Tuxydon intended for Cyberraptor to dodge the attack), he says, "Oh sorry, I thought there was a Shyguy behind you." And he smiles, turns around, and keeps walking forward. OOC: I always love social conflicts. I mean both in real life AND in RPs. |

I'm actually, uh..." He grabs Janus forcefully and pulls him behind a corner. "...I'm practicing every day because I want to go out with another Psi Warrior. One I'm... attracted to. But don't tell anyone or heads will roll, most likely yours too." Schwa then makes his way helfway to the cake, but stops. "I don't feel in the mood for cake. I want to DANCE!!" Red ether flies around him for a moment, a sign of stress for Schwa. |

Wow, everyone has RM2k3 on the brain now... wonder why?  http://www.rpginfinity.com has the sprite building studio iDraw3 Chara Maker, however the site should be currently down. That's also where I got RM2k3 from. Sorry if it's not available... If you REALLY want, when I get the chance, I'll PM you the download install file. And yes, iDraw3 has a built-in grid when viewing sheets in 800% zoom or greater. |

| OOC: Here's this. http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=150&page=1 My Profile for all 6 characters. Read this to get a clear view on how a balanced character should be. All 6 characters are unique in various ways, and a firend of mine (Grey) said they were very well-rounded. Just my opinion, but I seriously think you should consider making an origional character. That doesn't mean you can't base it on the Megaman games, but origional characters help you relate to them better. I'm a very serious roleplayer, and when I roleplay, I try and get inside the minds of my creations. I try and see things from their eyes, and when I do that I am in a new world. Origionality helps you do that, and I speak from experience. I PM'd the mod, and he said so far there hasn't been anything we can't work out by ourselves, so... If you don't mind balancing your character just a wee bit, I'd love to continue this match. |

| "Solaris, CAREFUL!! Moonbeam of the Stormbird!" (echo effects) Schwa pulls off another technique, firing four thin, lavender, consistant beams from his palms that are swept into the sphere of thunder. These beams have the opposite effect of Sunbeam; they lower forms of energy, not increase them. The beams, when hels steady against the sphere, should make it smaller and smaller at a fast rate until it's gone. Solaris should strike when the sphere is almost all the way gone, and if he does connect with SparkMan, Solaris will recieve a small electric shock, not too powerful. Still firing the beams, Schwa turns his head to face the Hardman. "Uh-oh, Sumo's back in action." |

| Hovering in place in front of the pan pile, Ami is very still and quiet... in reality she is reading Spaky's life data, but it is impossible for anybody to tell, even for Korra. And Spaky doesn't feel a thing. Korra leaps at Speeky right after he recovers, does a frontflip, and fires two more fire spheres while flying forward, one right towards Speeky and the second at his feet. Korra should land 3 feet away from Speeky's current position when he lands. "Can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen!" |
