| Schwa finishes charging... Truth be told, he had been charging energy at a MUCH faster rate than before, possible only through his righteous anger... and now he has five turns worth of charged energy in him. "Good going, Nino. Watch this." Schwa suddenly glides toward Garro and stops five feet away... but he moved at 75 MPH, meaning he was going FAST, and he also stopped in a heartbeat. As soon as he stops, he releases one of the strongest techniques ever possible to learn by a Psi Warrior. "Alpha Gamma YAMATO!!" (echo effects) It's a combo of three seperate attacks. The first attack, Alpha, is two thin red beams fired at Garro to do light Psychic damage and lower Defense. The second one, Gamma, fires two spiritlike energy blasts outward to home in on Garo, doing no damage if they hit but paralyzing him until the 3rd move hits. Finally, Yamato... This attack is a gigantic blue sphere of energy, 56 feet in diameter, that flies into Garro. If it hits, the foe will take unbelievable damage, but... unlike Omega, Yamato has some side effects... It causes ANY one random status condition upon contact, Schwa's offensive and defensive stats climb several points, and the damage the target receives is also returned to Schwa in charged-energy format. This means if the attack hits, Schwa will have 2 turns worth of charged energy in him! Schwa stands there and folds his arms, staring at Garro (or probably what's remaining of him), and nods in approval of his latest attack. "You want to harm my friends? You sure?" |

| "Oh, child, come here..." Sensae says in a grandfatherly way. "You do not have to be afraid. I know the future, and though I see difficulty facing you in your adventures, I promise that, as long as you do your best, you will conquer your alter ego. "And remember, you have a goal to achieve, too... When you conquer your alternate personality, you will be able to go to the Oracle Haven. There you'll not have to worry about your body splitting itself open, and your lifespan will be much longer than 6 months, I promise. Keep the goal in mind and within reach, Friend." Schwa enters the Grand Hall. "Hi, Sensae? Whoa..." He stops when he sees Friend. "Hey Allaura, you brought Ex to the Psipalace?" "Her name is not Ex, it's Friend. She's not Lightheart like you thought... She's actually... half-Oracle!" Schwa is knocked off his feet. "DUDE! Half-Oracle, really? How, Friend? Will you please tell me how you got your Oracle powers? I'm a fan of Oracles!" By now , several Psi Warrior bystanders have heard this and are drawn closer. Some are kneeling in respect to Friend, chanting things. Allaura feels awful. "Sorry, Friend..." |

OOC: THAT... was fun to read.  "What, wha'd he say? I caught it all in memory but I don't understand it... Uh-oh, here it comes!" Schwa dives forward to avoid the first box... but he judged wrong. He thought the first box was right above him, but instead it was in front of him... He managed to brilliantly dive right in the way of the attack. The box nails his right leg and he falls to the ground. He doesn't take much damage thanks to his blue ether, but he IS stuck, which isn't too good... Then he sees the second and third boxes about to crush him. Fear strikes his heart... ...triggering his Oracle-Emotional weakness! Schwa's very first mission involved speaking to an Oracle in the mountains. There, Schwa made the tradeoff of learning the Oracle Spirit-Splicing trick... but the price was that whenever Schwa became afraid, grieved or angry, he'd lose his psi powers and a single element type would replace them until he regained control of his emotions. Anger is fire, sorrow is ice, and fear is electricity. So, in this case, Schwa immediately gains electricity powers... ...and, creating a shocking force-field all over his body automatically (without meaning to), he destroys the box that landed on him, and is barely able to roll backward without getting hit by the second and third boxes! Schwa turns his roll into a backflip and lands on one edge of the room, where the GravBoost Aura won't help him. He takes a moment to try and regain his emotions, then notcies the bombs coming for him. "C'mon, psi powers, work! Work!" Schwa does his best to focus the fear out of his heart, and tries firing some enegy blasts at the bombs. By now the bombs are close to him when they are struck by the blasts, and the explosion would damage Schwa, so Schwa coats himself in ether to reduce the damage. After the fun ends, he does a frontflip to get back to the Aura on the ground. "Geez! I amaze even myself! Now... what did that bot say, anyway?" |

| Schwa smiles. "Ah, Solaris? I met him on a trip to another dimmension. You remember Janus, Detective Grey and Dracoon and all them, right? They accompanied me. We each raised a Chao, and I just happened to bring mine with me. I occasionally summon him into battle, and he does fight alongside me... But today he's most likely going to watch." The Chao does a flip on Schwa's shoulder. "Cha! Hello!" "He has a small vocabulary, but his first language is Chao and he speaks that very well. So! Wanna get this fight started?" Schwa's hands flare up with blue ether as he takes an offensive stance. "Show me what you've learned! Take the first move, too. You deserve it." It is at this moment that the figure in the shadows begins to charge up energy in his hands. If one concentrates or can sense energy, one would realize that the figure is hiding in the bushes behind the mesh fence, about 12 feet away from Schwa. One would also realize, using careful perceptive skills, that the figure is actually preparing to attack Schwa. "Hmhmhm... You're mine, Psi Warrior," he whispers very quietly to himself, evilly... |

| The instant the Power Sword is drawn, Schwa tenses. He knows the raw force behind that blade, and that even his ether can't help him a whole lot as far as defending THAT thing goes. But he's ready to block... His arms go to his right to block APH's left swing... but it's a feint, which catches Schwa off guard. He stumbles as APH goes for the pile-drive attack, but at the last second... ...Schwa turns sideways and half-leaps, half-trips backward to dodge. He nearly falls, but turns it into a backflip and is able to land on his feet at a crouch, 9 feet away from his previous position. "Wow! Good stuff! Now it's MY turn to attack." Schwa begins charging ether quickly for a powerful blast in a few seconds, but that's when a blast comes from somewhere else... It's a real big energy sphere with a cream-colored edge and a neon-green center, and looking at it hurts the eyes (like watching a TV in pure darkness). Schwa barely turns to look at the sphere before it nails him and he flies backward, slams against the mesh fence, and falls to the ground. Immediately the shadowy figure smashes right through the fence from his hiding spot, and goes for Schwa. Before Schwa can react, the figure's fist shoots off the arm propelled by a mini-afterburner, and slams into Schwa. Schwa cries out in pain as the fist returns to the arm of the figure. Then the figure puases, and turns around, sensing someone behind him. This is APH's chance to see how he looks-- This figure is clad in SUPER futuristic armor, sort of a cross between Alien and Predator but jet-black from top to bottom. There are holes on the back of the armor, unclear what for, and there is an emblem on the front of his belt with a neon "Y" on the front, engraved over the shape of a planet. The figure leers at APH. "Who are you? Lie, and I'll kill you." Schwa groans. "APH, beware... This is Kaz, last of the Yamathians... He is impossible for a Psi Warrior to beat... *cough*" Kaz turns to Schwa. "I will finish the job after I take care of this fool. Who is he?" "Go to Hell!" Kaz turns around fully and begins to charge energy into his hands again, for a full-power blast into APH's brother. APH does have time to stop him, though. OOC: Told you there would be a twist! Kaz is the one you're fighting in this fight. Thought it would be interesting for you to fight one of my other characters. Have at 'im! |

| "Aw, but I wasn't done! Dang, you forced me into defense..." Allaura would've been able to perform Turbo Halo Advance if given enough time to continue charging, but seeing the wall o' flame she is forced to quit, and defend herself. The flame washes over her, and all that can be seen is smoke. 10 seconds later, there is still no sign of Allaura. Then, Grey is given less than half a second to react as Allaura bursts through the smoke, very fast, fists outstretched and spinning like a drill, straight for Grey. This is a powerful melee attack. She has scorch marks on her, though, and is blackened from the smoke. Allaura hopes to plummet into Grey with this melee maneuver. |

| Kaz quickly turns around as Schwa's shield goes into play. "You fool..." Then, as APH goes at him with the sword, Kaz brings up a high spin-kick to block the sword. However, the Power Sword is strong, and Kaz is pushed back a little. "You shouldn't meddle, fool. Schwa and I are enemies, and this is a war you would be wise not to interfere in." Schwa gets up and begins backflipping away from Kaz. "I am not your enemy, Kaz!" Kaz leers at the acrobatic Psi Warrior. "Hmm... Schwa, who is this fighter who defends you? Tell me now!" "He's APH Striker, and he's my flesh-and-blood brother, Kaz! Fight him, I dare you! (Sensae, be with him please.)" Kaz growls. "Rrgh! I've had enough! We fight to the death, APH." Kaz focuses for a moment, and his body adjusts for Battle Mode. Here is how Battle Mode works. Pay attention, APH! As Kaz fights his foe, he has an energy source known as the Master Meter. This Meter starts at 80 units, and every turn it automatically drops by 7. Each time Kaz gets a hit on the foe with a melee or energy attack, the meter rises 12 units, 4 if the attack was from a summoned object or creature, and cut in half if blocked. If the Meter reaches 100 units, Kaz hits FULL POWER and morphs into HyperKaz, a form where all stats and attacks are better for 5 turns. Then HyperKaz morphs back into Kaz with the Meter set to 50 units. But if the Meter were to hit zero, all of Kaz's stats will drop until he can fill it up again through attacking. "For Yamathia, I will defeat the brother of Schwa," Kaz states. "First move in on you, fool." Master Meter = 80. |

"What are you suggesting by 'experiment'? Do you think...!" He gets an idea. "You want us to each raise a Chao, don't you? I dunno, seems difficult for me... God, I wish I could ask Sensae for approval! But I can't so... Guys! What do you think? Raising a Chao... Would that be a risky move or what?" |

| Schwa returns the hug as hard as he can, weeping the whole time. "My God, I missed you... Don't die again, Janus!" Finally, Schwa has fully regained his senses. With Janus back in the team, Schwa's hero, he's fully ready to fight to the end under any circumstances, no anger or sorrow holding him back. OOC: Starcraft? Uh, no, haven't played that game in ages. Though I did almost finish designing a full campaign when I was hooked... It involved a Zerg with a severed connection to the Overmind and free will. But that's not important... What did you mean by Starcraft, eh? |

| Kaz's fist goes up to block the cannonball-sized projectile. He seemed to know it would change, almost, but he didn't count on the projectile being so heavy. It actually damages Kaz to block the move, but he doesn't even barely flinch. Instead, he immediately counterattacks by holding his other fist out, which shoots off the arm as before, heading at APH for the gut at around 60 MPH. The fist would return to Kaz's arm whether it hit or not. After attacking, Kaz leaps up into the air, revealing what the holes on the back of his armor are good for-- Afterburners. This dude's got a built-in jetpack! He flies about 14 feet above the ground, close to the ceiling, looking down at APH through his black visor. Master Meter = 73 + 12 for a hit. |

" "Suddenly, Schwa realizes what the Penguin Bell said... or at least, the last part... "Me use decoys, you bye-bye!" "That ain't good! Augh!" Schwa thinks hard, but when the Bells release their homing-bombs, Schwa has to think quick. "Uh, let's see... Yes! Soul Search!" (echo effects) This technique allows Schwa to see where the real Penguin Bell is hiding, for a bright light will light up around the real one (visible only to Schwa) and not around the fakes. Schwa sees the bombs heading at him, stands in the center of the GravBoost Aura, and at the last second he rolls underneath the 3 bombs, out of the way. The bombs collide and explode, but Schwa is quick enough to get away from the explosion. Then, Schwa uses the effects of Soul Search to locate the real Penguin Bell and attack, but since he used a special attack this turn, all he can fire is a few weak energy bolts at the target, nothing that'll do a whole lot to the bot. |

| 12 points added to the Master Meter. Kaz eyes the fast-approaching sword... He flies backward and to the right, but is slashed anyway. "Now you are unarmed. Hmhm..." At lightning speed, Kaz performs a deadly combo. (Kaz specializes in combos.) Flying at around 60 MPH, Kaz flies at APH, fist outsretched, trying to slam his target to the ground. Then he swoops up and fires a blast of that alien energy at APH, a smaller blast than used against Schwa since he never charged this time, and finally he lands nearby and rockets toward APH even faster than the 1st attack, performing a low kick at an insane speed. Since this is a combo, if one attack misses, the ones following will never be executed. Master Meter = 78 + 12 for each successful hit. |

| "Augh! They gotta be filled with gasoline!" Schwa leaps at the wall and tries wall-kicking away from the ground, continually bounding from opposite walls to climb altitude. He reaches the ceiling and falls to the ground, landing just barely after the flame went out. Then the boxes fall immediately, without giving Schwa a break. Schwa, still in the Aura, darts out of the way of the 1st box with only a little trouble, but still a perfect dodge. The two other boxes fall next and fire their weapons, and Schwa notices that there's twice as much ammo comin' at him this time. Schwa fires a wide barrage of energy projectiles from his palms that shower all the incoming projectiles. There is a very high probability that at least one of them is nailed before reaching Schwa, and Schwa is counting on a chain-reaction of explosions that'll wipe out every incoming projectile before it gets too close. Schwa uses his remaining energy this turn to charge up a little bit, keeping Soul Search still in effect. "I got this guy beat. It was hard, but I got 'im beat, big-time." |

| Since Kaz couldn't hit APH the first hit, none of his other combo moves were executed. This gives him time to defend himself from the daggers. He swoops under them and flies at the Power Sword on the ground, snatches it before APH can get to it, lands facing APH from 25 feet away and throws the sword behind him with such force that it slices through the mesh-net and is out of the battle... unless APH leaves the arena through the hole in the fence and searches for it, but who knows where the heck it landed! Fortunately, Schwa's Chao, Solaris, is still in the arena, watching from a hidden place. Upon seeing Kaz throw the Power Sword away, he secretly leaves the arena to search for it. Kaz never sees Solaris. "Pretty slick of you to dodge a 60 miles-per-hour attack... Gonna need some help." Kaz takes out two strange objects... One is a tiny, silver, UFO-shaped object that immediately hovers next to Kaz, beeping and humming, and the other object is a purple glob off goo-like energy surrounded in a steel sphere wireframe, that hovers slow circles around Kaz. "Now, let's try this again." Kaz tries another combo. He rockets toward APH, again at 60 MPH, for a rocket tackle that'll knock APH straight up, then he flies straight up to knock APH out of the sky back to the ground, and finally he launches his rocket-propelled fist downward to the grounded APH. Once again, this is a combo, so if one attack fails to hit, the foolowing attacks are never executed. This time, the two objects are en route to activate if APH tries dodging. | "That's it, then." Schwa looks uneasy for a moment, but skaes it off. "From now on we each raise a Chao. Yes. Gotta go find mine. "And Dracoon, you too. It'll be a good learning experience for you, so get to it." Schwa focuses, and locates a direction for himself to follow. He heads off to the north, through a path, not really expecting anyone to follow him. OOC: So far so good, guys. I will be creating a map of the sub-dimmension pretty soon. Stay tuned. |

| The fire attack increased the Master Meter by 15 units. "Hmhmhm... So he has two swords now, does he?" Kaz begins his combo. He's struck perfectly in the head with his sword. KA-BLAMMO!! An explosion rocks his world, and he flies backward! The Probe is damaged and the energy glob is destroyed. But when the smoke clears... Kaz stands in place, almost unharmed! "Very good, APH! I seem to have underestimated you... but that makes two of us. This bionic armor feeds on certain element types to grow stronger, including fire. And one of the top rules in battle you don't seem to follow is... Do NOT, under any circumstances, make your foes stronger. Or else!" Kaz laughs evilly as he charges energy in his hands, preparing a powerful attack on APH. Meanwhile, the damaged Probe flies closer to APH and fires a few electricity-based spheres at him. They'll do low damage if they hit. Master Meter = 79 + 4 for each Probe hit. |

| "Aha! Ami, there you-- Oh geez, you're crying... What in blazes...!" Korra, who has found Ami around a corner, dashes up, but is nearly knocked off his feet at the sight of Spaky... I mean, if you were looking up at a big red lizard, wouldn't you be shocked? The feeling only lasts a moment, though... "Who-okay! You, uh... Hopefully Ami hasn't caused you too much trouble... Why is she crying, anyhow?" He notices the hot-dog on the floor, and notices a red-mark on Ami's left cheek. The puzzle pieces connect. "Hmm... Did someone attack her, by any chance? Because if they did, they're in for some serious, big-time Gemini-style whuppin'. Did you see who attacked her? Will you help me look? C'mon, thinking of battle makes me antsy! Rrgh!" The boy, Korrachi, looks about 10 years old, and he wears a silvery-blue cyber suit covering his right arm and leg, torso, half his left arm and leg, and the top of his head. Korra kneels down to Ami and gives her a hug. "Ssh, don't cry, Ami... Koorachi's here for you..." Ami hugs him back. It's a truly touching scene. | "Ah, I get it!" Korrachi exclaims. "You three destroyed the kitchen, and someone was coming in... which was Ami... so... you... Wait a sec, YOU attacked my sister? But you immediately confessed, so I shouldn't have a reason to be angry. But still, we came here to fight somebody... "Can I ask you a question, uh, whoever you are... You three team fighters?" Korra says this almost desperately. Ami has stopped crying now that Korrachi has calmed her down, but is still a bit anxious. Korra stares at the Lizard Bros. as if willing them to answer 'yes' to his question. |
