OOC: Hm... the Core is made of Holy energy. Be careful, Ex...  Also, the Core can't be destroyed, so you can't absorb the entire thing... but Ex could absorb all the excess energy if she wanted. In fact, she probably saved the whole palace.Nice intro, though.  Schwa catches the Berry, but notices the Core is calmer. He wonders why, then notices the humanoid mouse creature... "Janus, do you know this character?" With the Core at ease, the Palace slowly begins to regain stability in the stratosphere, slowing down it's flight speed. Soon it'll be still again. Schwa hovers over to the humaoid. "YOU saved us? Hm, not bad. But I'm a bit suspicious." Schwa's hands flare up with ether. "Not every person has the ability to absorb THAT much Holy energy... especially not a Good character. What are your motives? Speak!" Meanwhile, Sensae sees Grey faint. "Oh my!" he says. He talks to him in his sleep with telepathy... "Do not be afraid. I am an ally." Grey can talk back with his own thoughts if he wanted... |

| No... NO! Grey, don't! Guys, Grey was a huge friend to me. Every time I was upset about something we'd exchange PMs and he'd walk me through it. He told me a lot of wise things as well... I can't stand to see this. Now we need someone new to step up to the position of SB Arena Local Mod. Kirbynite could easily go back to his old position, that would make the most sense... Anyway, I may not be posting for a few days just because of this. It terrifies me. Ever since I became a respected member of this Board, I was afraid of bans. Anyone's bans, not just my possible own. I was always careful to follow the FAQ to the letter, and help others to as well, and in the long run I enjoyed myself. But I took pride in the fact that I had made friends with some of the respectable posters around here-- Dracoon was one, and Grey the other. But when he became Local Mod, I-- looked at him in a different way. Sure he was still a friend of mine, but I kind of, well, feared him this time! And it wasn't a pleasant feeling to be afraid of one of your friends. This Board is my life, really... Not a lot goes on for me outside here. So I held fast to the good experiences I had from being here. Yes, I was afraid of Grey, but I still respected him as a friend. And now this! It can't be! This was the last thing I'd expect such a wise person to say. Guys, Grey wasn't just a Local Mod... he was my hero. I want us to salute him as a group, in respect for the gifts he had brought us in his days of reign. Farewell, Grey the Hero... *salutes* |

Kaz hopes the first kick will deflect Shinpan's kick, while the second, third and fourth kicks will strike him. Master Meter = 87 + 12 for each full hit (half that if a kick is blocked). |

She looks up at her foe who just defeated them. "Nice fight... It hurts me to know that Korrachi has been sliced open, but it will heal. And you may have placed me on the floor and won the battle, but I won't let that stop me from being your friend." From the floor, she holds her hand out to Nimue for a handshake. |

| Ami follows Ex, still hovering circles around her while keeping her distance. She fires three more beams from different angles. Korra takes the hit, but quickly does a backflip which propels him high in the air. From the air, his arm glows silver, and as he aims it at Kire, a small barrage of electric spheres are launched from it at Kire. These attacks, by themselves, do light damage, but there are a lot of them. |

| Schwa had his eyes shielded while Ex was, well, you know. He turned to look once she had her clothes on again. "Good, I'm glad you noticed that... detail." Schwa begins pacing. "Okay, Ex... I trust you from now on. I'm Schwa the Psi Warrior, an embodyment of Good. Now Good is not to be confused with Holyness, because Holy is merely a tool that Good uses. No, I'm an embodyment of the actual characteristic of Good." He holds his right arm up. "I presume you can sense large amounts of energy easily? My right arm contains the three strongest elements in existance: Virtue, Respect and Honor. If I were transparent, you'd be able to see..." Sensae speaks up. "Schwa... I can still sense that Good-Evil gridlock from far away. It's gotten worse, with no influence from the Psi Warriors. In fact, I can't even detect the Psi Warriors from here." "Is the portal still open?" "Yes, but it's no longer emitting excess energy, which is a good thing." "Good! Then it's time for me to enter the portal." He looks at his friends. "Anyone coming? It may be dangerous, with all that Good and Evil around... Say, where's Dracoon?" |

| Korra wakes up. "What happened...?" "Nimue, you are quite a healer. Thank you." "Tandem Attacks? Oh no, we got plenty. My favorite is Gemini Arrow. It causes paralysis!" There is a pause. "Korrachi... We should've used THAT on them." "You forget how taxing it is on you... Ah well. It's time for us to go now." Korra suddenly whirls around and smashes the wall behind him with a roundhouse. A hole is there. "When you hit us against the wall, you weakened it. We know the way from here. So long, and thanks for the battle!" Ami concentrates, and an invisible telepathic bubble surrounds the two of them. | OOC: Glad to finally battle you, at long last, cpubasic13. Good luck. "Target spotted, Schwa. But it's quite interesting..." "Interesting how?" "It seems he's waiting for you. He's got an entire colosseum waiting! It's complete with floating platforms and all kinds of gizmos and gadgets. Schwa thinks that over for a moment. "That IS interesting! I'll intercept him. Schwa en route to attack!" After that exchange between telepathic messages, Schwa closes in on the telepathic ping Allaura has coordinated on his mental map: a huge computer-colosseum arena. Soon, Schwa sees it in the distance from the air. A blue streak of ether jets across the sky, toward the colosseum. Soon, a figure is visible from the arena below... a figure in futuristic armor, riding on a crystal disc, and, of course, emitting brilliant blue ether. The figure circles down and lands, then steps off the disc. With a wave of his hand, both the armor and disc disintegrate and exit the Material Plane. The figure before William is a male teen in white, loose clothes and wearing a black blindfold. Surprisingly, the blindfold allows him to see better, not worse. "Hello, William. I am Schwa the Psi Warrior. Listen, intelligence at Crystal Psipalace thinks that you may be affiliated with the Leaping Lobster Cult. I have come to check if that's true or not. Start talking, will ya?" Schwa secretly begins reading William's mind using his Psi abilities. He's trying to figure out for SURE if William is with the Cult or not. OOC: As you can see, my battle style centers around giving a central plot to each battle. I like to make others think hard. Again, good luck... |

| OOC: I'm glad Shinpan finally figured out the strategy. Remember, Kaz is an ELITE melee fighter, but not so good with ranged attacks. He relies on combos, which is a close-range art. Good going! 12 points added to the Master Meter (6 + 6). Kaz stares through his weird helmet at Shinpan. "There is no way you can match up to one who has trained in the arts of the stars... HIA!!" On the 'HIA', his afterburner activates and he attempts to slam into Shinpan, fist first, in a rocket tackle. Furthermore, he attempts to keep going if his attack knocked Shinpan down, to get behind him. Master Meter = 92 + 12 if attack hits. |

Ami, prepare Gemini Arrow!" Ami is a little startled by Ex's quick ability to hover, but she hears Korra and readies herself. First she attacks Ex with not a weak beam, but a good-sized energy blast (her strongest regular projectile) fired out the crystal. Then she faces Korra as Korra charges electric energy into his arm... |

| As Ex and Dark Weapon thought to each-other, Schwa seemed dizzy. The reason was obvious. "Schwa," Sensae exclaimed, "Why read their minds when it's none of your business?" "I do that a lot. I need all knowledge I can get. But that part about the a--" He pauses and pulls Ex aside. "Okay, listen," he whispers to her, "I did read your mind a moment ago, but your thoughts moved so fast it was hard to get it all... What was that part about the armor and corrosive air? It's not that I don't understand, but the question is if it'll be a problem or not..." He turns to the others for a moment. "It'll just be a moment, hang on!" Then he listens for Ex's answer... |

| I totally agree with Dracoon. Legault wins in my eyes, and my vote is based mostly on the fact that you were the first one to ask him to edit his post. The other reasons Dracoon stated are also true, but that was the major one. P.S. Hey, Seph, you never finished your personal battle with ME! I was hoping we could actually have a decent fight! | OOC: It's called a Team Attack. That's all I say. Just watch... Korra finishes charging, and at once he fires a great sphere of electricity at his sister, Ami! The sphere slams into the crystal and is absorbed, making Ami's whole body flash like a strobelight. In midair, she faces Kire, focuses, and fires! The two projectiles are long, skinny beams that move SUPER fast (still not as fast as Ex's bounce ). The first is aimed at Kire, doing good damage if it hits. The second one is also aimed at Kire, one full second later, which will do a little more damage than the first AND a good chance of paralysis for a while.This attack took a lot of effort on Ami's behalf, and she lands on the ground to rest. Korra rests for a moment, too. "Ha, Kire! How'd you like that? Our Tandem Attacks can overcome anything!" OOC: Yes, Tandem Attacks are quite advanced techniques, but the tricky part is that both members of Team Gemini have to take part in them, unlike their regular attacks where they can each fight one foe. I've always liked this idea, personally... |

Your posts had everything that Master M's didn't; creativity (well, Master M's had SOME creativity, but too much wackiness), length, detail, and sanity. | Ah, an excellent yet depressingly short fight. Kirbynite gets my vote for this reason: His attacks were overall more creative than Toxic. Now Toxic, I'm not telling you to revamp your character; Wellington's fine. However, he mostly used the cane energy bolt or shield to attack and defend, while Kirbynite tried a more creative approach with flying, Pokemon techniques, etc. That's it. Kudos, both of you. |

| OOC: I got a million of 'em. Leaping Lobsters, Cruel Crustations, and of course the deadly Pinchy Crabs! Muhuhaha! Oh sorry. And now for the battle... Schwa holds a hand out, and it flares with ether. As the Boomerangs come within striking distance, his hand moves like lightning, and in two quick movements he bats both Boomerangs out of the air with his arm. They fall to the ground and have not hurt Schwa. Schwa's Ether technique allows him to deflect physical projectiles while taking absolute minimal damage, in some cases none. Even bladed objects won't phase Schwa if they are deflected by the Ether. Schwa points at William. "I can sense you telling the truth. Very good, Truth is a key asset to a healthy life. I respect you, worthy foe. Now, you will learn the REAL key of respecting a foe... Fear! Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa begins his battle with his most commonly used Special Attack. Holding both hands in front of him, a white ball of light appears in front of his palms. Then he brings the arms back, and the ball spreads into an arc of Holy energy. Finally, Schwa points at William, and the arc takes off at a fast velocity toward him! This attack homes in on the foe, and does Holy and Psychic medium damage if it hits. Also, the damage is increased if the foe is Evil (which William obviously is not), or is experiencing a negative emotion or intention at time of hit. After firing the Alpha Psibeam, Schwa switches to an offensive stance, his fists flaring with blue ether. |

| Schwa paces back in forth in front of Team J and Team G. By now Team G's party members are healed. "Well well well... Ada, what a way to end a battle. Amazing quote. Janus, amazing quote. Both amazing quotes, but I'm afraid you're both wrong. Guys... ...Honor is the strongest! Muhuhaha!!" Schwa launches a blue firework in the air for kicks. "Erm, anyway... I have to tell you ALL that I'm more than a little disappointed. Janus vs. Jarukoth suddenly turned into Team Grey vs. Team Jarukoth! There really is nothing wrong with that, but it's HOW it started that got me; anger. Red, shame on you, letting Anger get the better of you TWICE in this fight! Green, you did extremely well in battle and in helping regroup your friends, and likewise Janus, you and Green had the right idea of grouping together to perform Team Attacks. You figured out that Team J over here performs better in 1 on 1 fights. And you countered that by exploiting the weakness, yet you were all STILL honorable! Way to go! "Jarukoth, I'm quite impressed at you as well. Helping Ada at the very end... You too, Shino... I could tell, Shino, when I read your mind, that you were scared. But you helped anyway. EXTREME sense of Honor, man. Also I liked your Shadow Matrix quite a bit... Personally I believe if I were caught in Shadow Matrix myself, I would probably be forced to use electricity for a while!" There is a pause. "Oh yeah, you don't know, do you... When I become afraid I can only use thunder. Take that as a compliment. "Anyway, here's the deal... In battle and in style, you were both perfectly evenly matched. So I'll tell ya what I'm-a gonna do. Hunter Schweitzer will shortly take over in judging, and I'll let him judge based on a totally different aspect of the fight. You've been warned!" There is a pause, than a booming voice is heard over the stadium. Thanks, Schwa... Okay guys, here it is... Winner equals Jarukoth. And I'll tell you why, but Grey, you probably won't like it... Grey, I can't get over it when you use God, as in the Christianity God, as a method of battling! You know very well from my PMs that I am a Christian, and likewise this kind of thing doesn't exactly go over too well with me... Yeah. In my opinion, God Himself shouldn't be incorporated into something as light (in comparison, that is) as Sim-Battling. Now I DID say Psi Warriors were based off Christianity, and they are. However, they aren't quite the same thing, so it's still fair. So that's my vote. Sorry Grey! Told ya you wouldn't like that. But there's still someting not quite as relevant I need to throw in... Jarukoth nailed it SPOT ON when Ada said the strongest force is Love. That's in the Bible itself! In fact, it makes ME look like a retard when he says that, because if Psi Warriors are based off Christianity, than THEIR strongest force SHOULD be Love, when in reality it's Honor. So Jarukoth, extra brownie points to you for being so, well... correct! P.S. That last paragraph, obviously, didn't have much to do with my judging, because I have no idea if Jarukoth reads the Bible in real life, and if he did it still wouldn't matter because that's life; this is Sim-Battling. P.P.S. I have a feeling Dracoon will probably vote completely opposite of me just because I got on my little high-horse... Sorry for going on the horse. But like I said, you were evenly matched in all other aspects, so I HAD to judge you on SOMEthing... |
