| Korra leaps up to avoid the kicks and comes down on Nimune with an aerial kick to the chest. If the attack were to hit, Korra would land in front of Nimune and backflip to get away. If the attack were to miss, Korra would land behind Nimune then frontflip to get away. "So you're an Undead! Interesting." After Korra's move, Ami fires again. Not a beam this time, but a trio of energy rings that travel in a straight line. Each ring is slightly less powerful than the beam, but the overall damage if they were ALL to hit would be greater. "...Or are you really?" |

| That's it. The Prism shatters. Amazingly, the sorrow alone was enough to force Guardian back into Yiusi Ball form. Yiusi stands there now, unprotected, staring at Odin. "It was just another life lesson in store for two powerful warriors. Yes... People can resist their fears if they try hard enough. That is the lesson you were to learn today. My lesson was that the way to win a battle isn't always to fight hard. Either way, you know now you couldn't have killed me... Your heart is too good. That isn't a weakness, it's a strength. Schwa taught me that. "Well, it's been fun, but it's almost dark now and I have to get to the mountain village. I was going there because... because..." Yiusi is befuddled. She can't remember. "Oh no! I forgot why I was going there! Ah well, I sould take you to the town to get you healed. Let me help you up." She reaches her hand to help Odin up. Schwa, from far away, regains his powers as he regains his control. Schwa, Guardian and Kyr'Shei are all relieved that Yiusi has made it through. |

| OOC: Hmm... looks like we have a new participant in the SB Arena. Hope you know the rules. Okay, I accept. Good luck. "Hmm... What's that? Some kind of arena?" A glittering streak of etheral light flares across the sky and slowly circles down to the large room on the outskirts of the city labeled "Battle Room". The streak is a man in futuristic armor, riding a crystal disc. It is Schwa, the Psi Warrior, an embodyment of Good. Schwa touches down right by the entrance, and, with a wave of his hand, the armor and disc disintegrate into particles which immediately exit the Material Plane. Schwa now appears as a male teen clad in white, loose, robe-like clothes and a black blindfold. He enters the Battle Room, looks around and sees nothing... ...except Master Mario. "Okay," Schwa begins, "I'm going to need to know what the purpose of this building is. I've never seen it before. It's like it just appeared overnight. Are you going to talk?" Schwa doesn't really expect a fight, but who knows? |

| None of Ami's abilities could deflect an axe, but Korra, from his landing spot, quickly discharges two electrified spheres of energy from his right arm aimed at the axe. The three projectiles all collide at the same spot, creating a minor force burst which knocks the axe toward the fray with Fenrir vs. Kari. Who or what it hits is a mystery, but it is headed in their general direction. Ami leaps high up and lands close to Korra, then finishes running to him. "Ami, Burst Bomb!" Korra commands. With that command at hand, Ami concentrates as the crystal in her helmet gains a red-orange swirl pattern, and Korra's right arm transforms into an arm-cannon. Placing her palm on his cannon, the pattern on the crystal is transferred to the cannon. The Team Buster is now equipped with Burst Bomb. Korra aims his arm-cannon straight at Nimue, but doesn't fire. "Your work isn't done yet, so you've stayed behind to finish whatever needs to be done. Very profound. At least it makes you a good fighting partner!" |

| Thinking the Bug would hit him, Schwa ducks back out of the door for a moment to think. "This guy's set me up! He played me like a fish in a fish farm... Bah, I have no choice. I must engage him." Schwa's hands flare up with holy blue ether as he prepares for battle. He walks into the Battle Room and points at Master Mario. "Do you take me for a fool? I do not know your Alignment, so I cannot kill you, but I swear you won't be looking too pretty after I'm through with you! "Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa holds his hands above his head and draws them to his left and his right, drawing an arc of silver energy in front of him. Then he thrusts his hands in front of him, and the arc takes off at Master Mario like a guided missile. The attack follows the movements of the foe, homing in, and, if it connects, does more than average damage (as it is a special attack). The attack does both holy and psychic damage. After attacking, Schwa steps closer to the center of the room. He believes he will seriously enjoy this battle, especially because of the techno theme in the background. |

| 3 seconds would have been the amount of time it took for the Blade Boomerang to cut them both off. But 2 seconds later, Tuxydon had managed the impossible... "HIIYAAA!!" His whole body is engulfed in a split-second flume of black ether as he thrusts his arms outward, breaking the chain and throwing Kalar off of him. He then deftly lifts his hand to catch the Boomerang before it cuts anyone. It was a split-second burst of strength that saved him, as well as the ability to catch a spinning, razor-sharp object without error... (Of course, he's always managed to catch his own Boomerang without letting it cut him.) "You know what I mean! You did-- THAT-- with your arms and legs! And now you're trying to kill us both! Damn, do you know what Schwa would say right about now? Probably something like 'You are dishonorable!' " The voice to go with that quote sounded hilarious coming from this guy. "And I'd agree with him. You are acting like a half-mad, half-insane maniac! And I intend to stop you!" Tuxydon now picks up the knife on the ground next to him, the one he'd been trying to get to before. It looks scary when threatened with. "Nothing your weapon can do compares to the beauty of this knife," Tuxydon warns. He steps forward in an offensive stance. |

| OOC: Remember, it is illegal to say that your attack hit for sure. It's always up to your opponent whether or not he was hit, but you have to be fair and reasonable. In other words, you can't dodge EVERYthing. Schwa sees the enemies coming after him (it is still a mystery how Schwa sees while wearing a black blindfold...), and as they approach close-range he runs forward and frontflips over them. He continues his dash toward Master Mario, and as soon as he enters striking-range, he disappears in the blink of an eye! He's not teleporting. He used a speed-burst to get behind Master Mario. He then attacks with an ether-coated fist to the back of the head (for normal melee damage, holy + psychic), and blinks back in front of M. Mario half a second later. Though Schwa's melee attack probably isn't nearly as strong as M. Mario's melee attack, the speed bursts really help him catch his opponents by surprise. The downfall is, he can't do them ALL the time as it tires him out. Schwa hears something behind him, and, turning around, he discovers it's the Boom Buggies still after him. Before he can react, one of them blows up, causing a chain-reaction of exposions right next to Schwa. The firey attack throws him forward, but he turns it into a frontflip and recovers his balance with ease. "Not bad! Using your natural enemies against your opponent... profound. Now let's see what your thoughts have to say about you..." Schwa then begins to read M. Mario's mind with his psychic powers, but while doing so he is very still and open to an attack. OOC: There. I kind of twisted your attack a little to be legal. Notice the attack DID hit me, even though I had a choice... You can't be cheap in Sim-Battles. The weird thing is that even though it's a fantasy, it has to be realistic. Make sense? |

| Yiusi grabs on to Odin as they escape, but right after she attack Fenrir! "You'll never kill Odin!" With a wave of her hand, a black portal appears right in the ground under Fenrir, which will teleport him 36 miles away from them in the other direction they're headed. Yiusi hopes it will stop him momentarily... "Where are we going? You know you can't go on too much longer until you find a way to heal yourself..." |

As he's speaking and as the attack moves toward him, he hooks the knife around the base of the blade to catch the weapon, then he strongly jerks the knife backward to throw the ensnared weapon out of Kalar's hands (assuming the ensnare worked). That... is the weapon's special ability. |

| As Hewitt prepares to attack, Korra whispers to Ami. "Ami, prepare Mirror Beam ammo but don't apply it until I give word." Ami's crystal changes to a steely-grey/silver swirl. As Hewitt attacks, Korra jumps to the side and fires two explosive spheres of fire at Hewitt using his cannon. The spheres will burst into hundreds of tiny embers upon impact with anything and ignite anything flammable. Ami jumps to the right and fires a trio of energy rings at Nimue using her crystal. Both kids land behind both of their foes. "Ami, NOW!" At Korra's command, Ami applies Mirror Beam to the Team Buster, which replaces Burst Bomb. He aims at Nimue but doesn't fire. "At least you warned us. But still, something like that could kill an ordinary person! You wouldn't really kill us, would you Hewitt?" |

Ten steps later, she turns around and waves her hand. A white portal opens next to the tree. "I don't know where this leads, but I opened it specifically to go where there's a civilization far away from here. Take it if you want it, it'll be there for only 2 minutes." She then continues walking, and is soon gone. It is night now, and there is no trace of her. The only visible light comes from the portal... |

It would be nice if some more SBers who posted frequently and seriously came into our presence. What we need is a way to advertise into the open Internet... |

| A blue etheral streak plummets from the heavens right into the pool, creating a huge splash. Three seconds later, a figure leaps out of the pool in futuristic armor with a crystal disc carried under his right arm. The figure waves his hand once and both the armor and disc disintegrate into particles, which swirl into the sky and exit the Material Plane through an invisible portal. The new figure before them wears white, loose clothes and a black blindfold. It is Schwa, Psi Warrior and embodyment of Good. "Hello, peoples," Schwa says, looking around. "What'ya think of the dive? 10 out of 10, I presume. Hi, Bel! Last I saw you we were in a Chaos Heaven doing battle with a posessed Raichu. You look like you've been keeping up well. "And you, Kirb," he says, adressing the pink dreamlander, "You look a little tired from this work on the litter. Would you like a little help? I've got a friend who can really do the job... Answer me quickly because there's something very important I need to talk to you about." |

| In desperation, Ami attempts to dive under the axes, but she is hit by one of them on the upper-right corner of her lavender helmet. The tiny layer of lavender crystals break, revealing the softer, inner layer of power-storing blue crystals underneath. "That ain't good," Korra comments. He deals with the beam by firing Mirror Beam at it. It seems to be either equally or close to equally, powerful, and the two beams are stopped in their tracks. Korra runs up to Ami. "Uh-oh, your armor's broken! Has the Power Crystal layer been damaged as well?" Ami nods. "Well, that's definitely not good." He turns to Hewitt. "You like fighting? You got it! Damaging my sis's energy is a no-no, and I am obliged to avenge it. Now fight me!" Korra runs up to Hewitt, and upon reaching melee distance he leaps high into the air. From the air, he fires a barrage of electrified spheres at Hewitt, and as he descends he attacks with an aerial drop kick to the head. Ami stands there, hoping. |

| "AH-HA!! GOTCHA!!" Schwa immediately leaps up, does a double frontflip and lands in a handstand position. "Psychic Earth!" (echo effects) Feeding green ether into the earth, a beam suddenly erupts out of the ground right around UGrey. The beam does absolutely no harm to those it hits, but it holds them in complete paralysis instead. Schwa keeps handstand position, hoping to have trapped UGrey. The beam appeared in an instant without warning just 1 second after the handstand was assumed. Schwa's reasoning for trapping UGrey is because he's never managed to find out anything about this character before, and he wants to ask him some questions. |

| "We're not done yet!" Schwa exclaims. "This IS a real battle! Now, show me what you're about!" Schwa holds his hand in the air, and as he does this he flashes red two times. At the same time, two blue wisps appear by Master Mario and begin encircling him, never adding or removing any distance the whole time. Schwa had just pulled off his Oracle Spirit Trick. Though the ability damages himself, it is VERY useful later on... "You set me up, Master M. For that I am amazed. But this battle is not just a spar, it's an all-out fight betwen honorable men. If you start a battle, you better finish it. Now hit me with your all!" |

| Korra tries to frontflip over the fireballs, but one of them hits him squarely in the chest, turning his frontflip into an unintentional backflip. He lands on his hands, does another backflip which brings him to his feet, 20 feet away from Hewitt. "Ami, can you handle Nimue?" he calls. "Ami??" Ami doesn't respond. She hasn't spoken once so far. "Oaky, never mind. Hewitt, dodge this if you can! Mirror Beam!!" Korra fires a wide beam in Hewitt's direction... but it goes right over his head! Then, amazingly, the beam changes direction as if reflected off an invisible mirror, and is now aimed perfectly at Hewitt's back. Ami stares at Nimue for a while, herself being much shorter in size than her foe. She then levitates up in an invisible bubble until she's at eye-level with Nimue. Then, amazingly, she speaks. "I am sorry." Too bad Korra didn't hear her. |
