(Can't say if the blob likes her or not 'cause it's APH's character.) Korra is focused on Jarukoth, still. He saw Jarukoth's nice roundhouse kick, and winced at the thought. "Hmm, maybe he's a Power-lover. But that quick movement behind Red... maybe he's actually a Speed-lover. Well, I guess I should catch up with Ami now, since nobody's attacking me." Korra dashes toward Ami, who's fixiated with the crystal blob. |

| "I know what it is," Schwa comments as Anon flies at him. "You're not one to stand up to attacks without a shield." Before Anon reaches Schwa, a coating of ether forms around Schwa's arms. When Anon slashes, Schwa's arms block like crazy, the ether flaring up each time his arm is hit. His arms seem to be unharmed while blocking the blades of energy. However, Schwa does take a hit. After Anon's done slashing, Schwa focuses and the platform flies a loop so he's flying behind Anon. He's got a bad cut on the upper part of one of his arms, but the rest of his arms are unharmed by the special, protective ether. "Your shield is automatic, while mine is manual. I have to focus in order to deflect blows... a good aspect, since I can defend myself whenever I want as long as I can focus." Schwa then uses a technique. "Moonbeam of Stormbird!!!" (echo effects) Schwa thrusts his palms forward, and out of them fly several lavender beams, each only as thick as a quarter is wide. But the beams are fast-- they hit Anon's shield in a tenth of a second. "This attack eats up any form of energy very quickly, and feeds it to the sky," Schwa says. True, the beams dissolve the energy shield as long as they're touching it. And Schwa keeps his beams firing until the shield is gone, 2 or 3 posts from now. "Of course, I'd expect a Templar to disable the beams somehow... That's actually what I'm waiting for you to do." Schwa smiles eagerly. |

| OOC: Yeah, APH, listen to Dracoon. Ami pets her new blob friend cutely. Korra's face looks like  when he sees her. "Oh, Ami, you like it? Hey sword guy, thanks a bunch!" He takes Ami's hands and says, "Now let's focus our attention on the battle." Ami puts the blob on her shoulder and turns to Nijote, along with Korra."Hey lady, I still owe you for calling us kids, then calling us weak!" Korra announces to Nijote. His real motives are different, though. He noticed Nijote was feeling left out, and realized that someone like her lives to battle, so he decided to do her a favor. |

| Listen, Kagerato, you're exteremly smart-- now I need your help. I'm trying to change Megaman's colors in MM2. Tell me exactly what I do to make it work. I'm so frustrated right now... I have the debugger AND the Hex Editor, and I don't have any clue as to how they work. The debugger keeps freezing the emulator each time I try to write a breakpoint. Leave out no details. Thank you. |

| OOC: Usually it's against the Sim-Battle rules to use more than one special technique per turn, BTW. Schwa's beams are turned off temporarily, but Schwa activates them again after 4 seconds of cooldown, this time in a different way. Instead of several small beams, two very wide beams fire, one from each hand. But Schwa doesn't aim at the shield this time-- he envelops the psionic bolts with both beams, dissolving them (since they're a form of energy). "I know of that technique. I fought a Protoss Templar once before. Though he wasn't as strong as you, he used the same move on me. I wasn't a psi warrior then, and it almost killed me. Now where was I? Oh yes, the shield." Schwa envelops the shield with his wide Moonbeams of Stormbird, which makes it begin to deteriorate again. "If it makes you feel any better, Anon, I'll probably run out of mana before I can destroy the shield. Then again, I do have a move which recharges mana... But who knows if you'll even get to see it!" OOC: The beams are stronger this time, so they'll probably drain the shield faster. |

| "Wow, he can disable my attacks instantly with that move," Schwa thinks. "Well, he's no match for the power of the soul." Schwa activates... "Alpha Psibeam!!!" (echo effects) Schwa holds both arms out and curves his hands in a backward motion, creating a silver arc of spiritual energy in front of him. He points toward the energy orbs, and the arc takes off after them. Schwa's attack plows through any of the orbs it touches, and it does try to get in the way of the orbs, but it doesn't hit every one. The arc is still heading for Anon, but disappears before it reaches him (since plowing through the orbs weakened it). A handful of the orbs still fly toward Schwa, and Schwa coats himself in a cloak of cream-colored ether as they approach. "Hopefully this allows me to absorb most of the damage I recieve and convert it into mana," Schwa comments. He seems perfectly calm, and if Anon were to read his thoughts he could tell Schwa is perfectly calm. Good thing for Schwa. |

| Schwa takes a blow from the sword right in the chest, then twists backward to avoid the rest. He bellows, "Arrrrrrrr!!! You are scum!" He sees the air thicken and become freezing. "You too, Blue! I'll kill you both!" His flames grow bigger as he prepares to attack, but he can't see very well at all. That's when Blue gets a telepathic message from Schwa, a very alarming one. "Good shot, Blue! Keep fighting me, please, so I'll--" ...followed by telepathic static. What in the name of time and space could be going on!!? |

| (A message approved by the host) Snapshots? Simple. Get an NES emulator like FECUltra or something like that. Most emulators come with a snapshot feature-- with FECUltra, it's F10, I believe. Then you just host the image on TinyPics.com, save the URL, put it on the post, and there ya go. Personally I think APH asked an unfair question, since not everyone has an emulator or wants one... You also need the right Rom for the emulator to load. |

| Oh, no. I'll still use them as references. I've always wanted to learn how to edit the hex values for roms, not just for palettes, but anything. Look what I did to Megaman in Megaman 2. *big smirk* I'm making MM2 where you play as Bass. He's a character that appeared in MM7, and the Japan-only Rockman & Forte. I gave Bass the auto-fire ability, but it was too easy to beat enemies, so I changed his shooting back to normal. I think I'm going to make his jump a little higher instead, which is okay to do since I'm going to be changing the levels anyhow. Also, Bass starts out with lower HP and Weapon energy, exactly 1/3 less. His max HP is still the same, but it makes you have to search for energy at the beginning of the level. Tell me your opinions. |

| OOC: Reading other's thoughts is not illegal, as I have done it in many battles before and got no warnings. (I don't do it often, either, just in conversations.) However, it is illegal to heal, even if it's a shield. "You need a lesson in recklessness. There's a proper way to do it," Schwa adds as Anon flies at him again. "Bank Hover." Schwa, still on the platform, tilts at a 45 degree angle and flies higher. Before Anon can reach him, Schwa kicks the platfrom he's standing on with both his legs, flinging it toward him. "Thunder Slash!" As the top flies, a cone of electricity coats it. The platform will return to Schwa to catch him after striking, and it moves very fast. Schwa is out of the way of Anon's attack as well (since he flew high). And, the best part is... Lightning can penetrate shields. |

| Schwa speaks again. "Your tornado attack is not enough to phase me! ME, Schwa! Bwa ha ha ha!!!" Schwa attacks, but not with a psi attack. He holds an engulfed-with-flames hand up, and a firey beam rips out of his hand and twirls toward Blue. This special kind of fire is not put out by the tornado... it almost seems demonic, in a way. He follows his attack by holding his other hand up, and emitting a single intense pulse of light, blinding for a moment those who saw it. "Once I have destroyed Blue, I'll focus on my primary target, Dracoon!" Schwa's voice is becoming warped for some reason... Dracoon can almost recognize it, but... they may be imagining things. | "Nijote? Hello?" Korra askes. Then he notices something. "Uh-oh, where's Ami?" He suddenly spots her chasing the blob, who's bouncing all over the place. Korra loses it. "Arrrrrrrrr!!! Too much chaos! Ami, leave the blob and get us out of here!" Ami gives up the chase and runs over to Korra. She forms an invisible, telepathic bubble around them both, as they float higher and higher until they're out of sight. Once they've broken the atmosphere, Korra calms down. "Okay, we're done fighting for today. Let's find another planet to crash for the night." And the twins fly off to another adventure... *end Schwa character* |

| NOOOOOOO!!! It's too friggin awesome! I loooooose! Well, looks like my MM2 hack's dead. I can't put him in Megaman 3 because the graphics are stored too oddly. I can't find some of the graphics used to draw Megaman while he's running. He's missing the back of his helmet when I place the tiles on the arranger. *sigh* Maybe I shouldn't hack another Megaman game for a while. I mean, there's TONS of Rom hacking programs out there, along with the roms to go with them. Megaman is cool, but so are a lot of other vg characters... Sonic the Hedgehog being the ultimate, all-time #1 game. I have a Sonic 1 editor, but it's glitchy... Folks, this Bass info is kinda harsh. I need a little time to sort this out. Do you really, really want me to hack MM3? It won't be that great, actually... I don't know any hex editing, all I know how to do is use the level editor well. I know it's a powerful editor, but... *sigh again* I feel trapped. I thought I had this great idea to put Bass in MM2, then I find that someone already put him in there. It made me sad... I worked so hard on those tiles... I guess giving up is the coward's way out. I'll hack MM3 next, but it won't be ultra-fancy like my MM2 screenshots or any of that... It'll probably be as good as my MM4 hack. Sound good? |

| OOC: Oh come on, you know I was at point-blank range when I fired, just like you were when you fired. How can you not dodge, but have them still miss? You have to tell me exactly what happens to every one of my attacks. Number 1 rule in Sim-Battling. I think I do a pretty good job of being descriptive, and it's only fair that you're descriptive as well. Rephrase the post so it's descriptive. Thank you. |
