http://eedok.voidofmind.com/linux/chooser.html Check this out. This quiz thing actually gives good results. I tried out the distro it said I might like (never heard of it before then) and it turned out to be a freakin pwn distro. |

I'm going to post some information about my "tutorial of what not to do" hack here for all to see and comment on. This thread is also "part of it" where I will be doing things that people should not do. Every level has atleast one major and one minor mistake. Message boxes will explain what these mistakes are. (Minor - Posting screenshots several times a day, every day, is generally not a good idea, you give away too much of you hack, people may not be so inclined to play it when it comes out.) One of countless errors that aren't obvious in the editor that become glaring when you actually play. Minor - Linking to images on sites like angelfire will get you problems like this one. Try to find a different webhost that will let you do image links. One of many message boxes used to explain problems and mistakes people make. Ones like this are glaringly obvious, as most of the "major" kind are. |

Hey does anyone want to lend me a level for my "stealing levels from other hacks is bad" level? It's a mistake that needs to be pointed out. Anyone want to volunteer any of the levels they've made?

You're all wrong about the name. Some character encoding got messed up. It looks like this for me: I have no idea why Cyrillic letter "ya" gets encoded as a German "ss". This is a character encoding issue. I DO know the proper use an function of |

That quiz works shockingly well actually. It told me about a distro that I had never heard of called Ubuntu. I tried it and I freakin LOVE IT. Ubunt has, hands down, the BEST package manager there is.

Wind/solar are too intermitent to power any wide-scale infrastructure. |

You people seriously pack it in. I had to buy an extra disc controller and another 120gb disc because the first 120gb ran out of space.

It's not junk and its not that much either (not 70+120). I'm only using up about 150gb right now.

Pick ONE perspective. Unless that is supposed to be some type of ramp, it looks strange. |

If I threw some code together to take some spc data and just dump it straight into the SPC700 chip, would that actually work?

I wouldn't particularly care for two reasons. 1: I think recent zsnes wip's DO restore the sram. 2: If they didn't it would take about 10 minutes to code. Don't bother using your routine, its pointless. The moment you did, you'd find 3 modified emulators and 10 sets to patch codes released all from different people. |

Nice choice of distro. Ubuntu is my current favorite distro. The package manager is second to none. |
