Bury the survivors? How rude. I sure wouldn't like to be buried alive.

How about a sore head? Nobody wants a sore head, but nobody wants to lose their head, sore or not.

I saw a great road sign in Ireland.... there was road construction going on and a bridge was out, and there was a sign next to the road to the bridge that just said "Don't even think about it." And a few km later there was another sign that said "Plant Crossing." Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of either of them.

Just take me off the scoreboard. I'm way too busy to participate and it'll save you a line of space. Maybe next time around

I play anything guitar-like (guitar, bass, mandolin, bouzouki, etc), piano, trombone/bass trombone, and Celtic flute. I love playing music!

Only thing that comes to mind is 3rd, 1st, 2nd. But that's pretty much what Kario said, only in numeric form.

Well the building wouldn't need to be heated first... but the water heater would need to be turned on long enough for the water to get hot. Otherwise, no steam. If the power just came on, then the water heater definitely wouldn't have been on long enough.

Mario is Missing as well, but I guess that's technically a Luigi game

I saw a Mustang in a parking lot here with the license plate H4X0R. Didn't see the people who owned it.

What state/country issues vanity plates that allow alternating letter-number-letter-number-letter?

Saskatchewan, Canada. Vanity plates here can be up to 6 numbers, letters, or spaces.

But won't that put you on the other side of the north pole, so that you won't be going south to begin with?

I should specify. Be one mile north of the latitude in the Southern Hemisphere where the circumference of the Earth is exactly one mile. It might work in the Northern Hemisphere, but I'm not sure if that latitude is more than one mile south of the North Pole.

Pfft, technicalities. You can't expect me to consider the fact that the world has a southern hemisphere too!

And as for the current question.. I honestly can't say any hotel I've been to has hot water as soon as I turn the tap on; however I do remember one of them having a hot-water shutoff under the sink so I'm guessing that it either has one of those elements that heats water as you use it, or each room has its own hot water reservoir.

Generally, when something is sent back to a supplier they want the retailer to send the whole batch... they don't appreciate it if the retailer sells a few and returns the rest. Course, that's not the best for the customer when they can't buy something that's right there, but that's often how it works. Maybe Future Shop didn't think enough people can read English for them to sell 15 copies

That depends on the car... my last car, I turned it counter-clockwise; my current car, I turn it clockwise.

Well really, the best way to turn a key to unlock a driver's side door is whatever direction unlocks the door on the car you're unlocking.

A "dint" is a small dent. I guess that's the plural of it.

Why does the "n" on the end of "goddamn" look like that? I've never played this version of scrabble but I guess that that's what letters look like before they're down or something. A note though - when I was playing another version of online scrabble, it sometimes let me put down things I didn't think were words if they created words in other directions. I'm not sure exactly what the criteria were for that but I had stuff like "ba" or "hix" at points.

Battletoads/Double Dragon is what it reminds me of, so I'll say that. It's an action/puzzler, but a little more action-oriented than the original (which was like.. two levels of fighting and 10 of really fast twitch puzzles).
