Hmm.. If her birthday is December 31, and "today" is January 1....
Then two days ago would be December 30, and she'd be 17. Yesterday she turned 18... at the end of this year, she'll be 19, and then next year she turns 20. Hopefully the definition of 'next year' is loose enough to fit that way

Would the sight of this piece of wood on some other day, say a week ago, have caused the man to kill himself?

Was it the piece of wood that changed over that week?

If so, did someone other than him change it?

Did the other person deliberately change the wood to make him shoot himself?

"Hmm, I want to play SMW and Super Metroid, but I don't have an SNES anymore. I wonder if I can play SNES games on my PC?"

*google for "play snes games on pc"*

Then I proceeded to download ZSnes and play a bunch of games, which led to me getting NESticle as well.

They were rabbis... or judges.. or someone with the power to marry people and also allowed to be married... John performed the ceremony for Jane and David, and David performed the ceremony for John and Diana.

[edit] err, Jane and David can't be married. Jane and David got married to other people... but the idea is the same.

Or while trying to break in he got knocked out.. like he tried to break the window by throwing something at it and the window was reinforced or he missed the window so whatever he threw bounced off and hit him, or maybe he tried to kick the door in and it fell on him, or something along those lines. Then when the police came they found him with the door on him, or a rock beside him, so they knew.

Bones? Years left to live? hmm.... this is probably a trick question that I'm totally off-track on

[edit] wow, answering 1 minute after the question is asked... I have good timing

Or it was a TV that said "stick 'em up!" or something like that so he did, and then he realized it was a TV.

Did the barman mistakenly think he knew the guy? If so, was it someone who very closely resembled the guy he thought it was, like his twin or something?

Scenario: the barman's sister gets killed by someone, and the barman sees the murderer running away... a week later, the murdere's twin walks into the barman's bar, and the bartender thinks "there's the guy who killed my sister!" and goes vigilante on him.

I just finished a highly enjoyable game of Secret of Mana with a friend, and we're looking for more 2-player RPGs to play. Not necessarily in the Secret of Mana action-RPG style, but that would be nice. We just got Fusoya's SoE patch to work and we're going to play that (thanks Fusoya!) but of course after we finish we're going to be looking for more. Any suggestions/recommendations/old favorites?

I'll check out FF4-6. About SD3 though.. is it actually a two-player game? I haven't managed to get a second player to have control over a character.

neotransotaku: Thanks, a whole series sounds like it'd be fun. I'll check those out! I just need to find a PS emu that has netplay support... hmm.

If you can find out, let me know. I've heard that they axed the multiplayer in it, which would suck since that was one of the best parts of SoM (although it was an awesome game as well). Thanks!

I know this one, but to give a bit of a push since it seems to be falling:

Was the man pushing his car because it had broken down or run out of gas?

Stranded, cutting arms off for food... that doesn't deal with the mailing the arm to people.... Taking Kefka's scenario, maybe they got rescued before they had to eat the third guy's arm but they made some sort of pact that all 3 of them had to cut their arms off. So, he cut his arm off and mailed it to the other two as proof that he had actually kept his part of the deal.
