Thanks to the efforts of the Chrono Compendium's members and other people who assisted,

The entire script of Chrono Trigger is finished and edited, including unused lines!

This was accomplished by dumping the script. Only one Chrono series game script remains to be edited -- Cross's, and I would like to dump its script as well so that we may find any unused lines there. It would also ensure perfect accuracy. My problem is, I have no blazing idea how to dump such a thing.

Help is appreciated, and shall be reflected in the Credits section of the forthcoming Cross script.

All right then. My friends have warned me that it might be compressed as well.

Ahaha! I said outloud 'aww hell yeah' when reading this!

They're all going to be blown away when I tell them its time to divide up the CC script for assembly.

Edit: I'm not familiar with .ccp files, though I've read a basic description of them.

I've spent the better part of several hours manually recording the audio of Goemon's Great Adventure and Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon off Project64. If I may inquire, has any method been invented yet for ripping audio off n64 roms directly?

Thanks Chickenlump.

Did you perhaps get my PM? Just wondering, as we're all on the edge of our seat about the Cross script. Wonderful! The Compendium is going to smash when it gets back online.

How does one run .cpp files? I've downloaded CCTools for extracting the Chrono Cross script, but they're all .cpp.

To play it:

I haven't had much luck, as it crashes my winamp. SM64 works, though.

Since Angelfire is terrible, Chickenlump and I have mirrored Chrono Tweaker on the Chrono Compendium.

http://www.chronocompendium.com/pub/ChronoTweaker.zip

By the way, the complete script of Chrono Trigger has been released, cleaned up and chronologically arranged from a rom dump. This includes unused lines. Check it out at the Compendium if you've got the time.

Chickenlump, if you have AIM, my username is the same there. I have Chrono chats on there sometimes, so its not a bad investment (hah, just kidding).

I'll be damned if I can't find the ID666 Editor that 'comes' with SNESAmp. I require it to edit a soundtrack; I've searched every option, read the help file, and even searched around the SNESAmp website. I absolutely cannot find this supposed editor.

That produces a query thats jammed mostly off my screen; attempts to move it are met with fKitten Yiffer. I've even moved Winamp to the very bottom.

My last problem is Track 67, or the Waterfall Heckran's Cave ambience. I've tried utilities from Zophar and the stuff within ZSNES. I simply, absolutely cannot nail this track down.

I could use the SNESAmp one since there is no virtual difference, but it's full of ID666 stuff that I can't edit and it also isn't keeping it real.

Yosh. I'm announcing this on the Compendium. Hopefully, the fanbase there can take this and run with it and make a hack in the very near future.

Alright; I've made some areas and changed some dialogue. Just the event stuff remains to be learned...

Hey; by the way, I noticed that when I change instruments for a song in the Music editor, scroll to another song and then return to the one I changed, the values I changed are replaced by (3C-FF Invalid). A problem?

I'm having a small difficulty; I'm using {1FF Empty Map}, Map 3, L1+2 Palette 18, L1+2 Tileset 32, L3 Tileset 3. I've tiled over a good half of the map, but the bottom third simply cannot be drawn over in Layer 2. Layer 1 works fine, however. What's wrong?
