| Ryo leaned back in his recliner, facing the patio window of his small modular home. Where the premade home was settled was in quite a prime position to overlook the small town of Osaka, even if that wasn't his prime motive when deciding where to plant the home. Osaka could be swallowed up by hell itself in the next five minutes and he would care no more about the small mountain town. He had much bigger things to think of. MUCH bigger. Not that his Kraft Dinner was boiling over in the next room, but close. As he fetched the pot of macaroni, he sat at the table, glancing over to the small china cabinet. Within it sat row upon row of stone tablets, adorned with some kind of ancient language. He liked to say it was a conversation piece - even if he secretly knew what each and every one of them said. But he didn't feel particularly like reflecting on their content - not after the news he had received. "The two have commandeered the starship Argetlahm." Narrin said firmly. "I have released them to their duties. Ultimanium has suggested starting a fighting tournament in downtown New York. I believe that may give him and Ultramagnus the recruiting possibilities they desire." "This'll get nowhere fast." Ryo shot back. "He can't possibly think of picking up any overgrown wrestler off the street and pitting them against the Magnusi. It's madness." "I suppose you have a better idea?" The dimensional fabric was at stake. Damn rights he had a better idea. He had a whole world of his own to draw from. And, of course, he had friends in high places inside and out. While Ultimanium and Ultramagnus rallied their forces, Ryo would set his own plan in motion. While he couldn't tap into the Seventh Dimension in his current state, his station within the radically deformed Sixth would give him quite a power tap to draw from. He would construct a dimensionsplitter and lead a party of his own. As much as it startled him to attempt such a thing, he had a nagging suspicion it would be a deciding factor in this war. Ryo stepped off the mountain path and onto the road leading to Osaka. He slipped on a baseball cap, turning and marching off towards the town in the distance. This would be his legacy... as soon as he found a willing group to share it with. |

| One moment that stuck out to me was when I fired up Mega Man 2 a week ago or so, and wondering to myself exactly how I made all those jumps in Air Man's level as my young self. | |||

| Max let himself sulk, the sudden danger already past - but was quickly jarred back to reality as the exit door clanked again. He glanced over, catching a glimpse of his dark-outlined shadow's face as the sheet metal slammed down in front of him. | Max continued to listen as he walked towards the door, knocking on it. It let out another dull clank as it rose, just as the others had. The doppleganger had vanished, and another empty corridor lied beyond where it once stood. Too empty, really. "...don't... worry about him... I'm starting to get the feeling he wants more from me than he does from you..." He whirled around again, his demeanor completely reversed. "Hey, we're at the third place on the map, right? | The Zeitdammerung burnt with a white glow that quickly drained into the air. As the jagged missiles flew at him many completely flew off course - several still struck his shell, one lodged into his frozen arm and another scraped his other. Ignoring the biting pain he continued to feed mana into his other one - if he didn't have time to thaw his hand free he'd have to force it out. The red keyblade suddenly glowed as Troy forced his arm back. With a crash the ice immediately around his hand crumbled apart, launching the weapon on a spinning trajectory back at Jarukoth. "Strike Raid!!" |

| Ryo was just about ready to set foot off of the sidewalk not even twenty feet from his house when he was interrupted by Star. He stood for a moment, eventually stepping back and glancing over his shoulder. "...well, that was well perceived... I guess I could say that I'm in need of assistance in one way or another... and from the sounds of things you're intent on following suit? I would like that very much, really... though, I'm just a bit curious why you'd be standing here, waiting to intercept me just as I leave my house, especially with a statement like that... are you fully aware of exactly what task I intend to find help for?" He glanced at his watch. "...Rad's running a bit late... traffic must've been tied up..." |

| I seem to have a bit of luck with those cheap scratch tickets... I've won most that I've picked up in the last little while, and made 10 off of one I bought today. I'd say on the whole I'm a bit lucky, but nothing really noticable. (edited by Utilityman on 06-09-04 12:12 AM) |

| By now Troy had managed to free his arm, shaking the feeling back into it as the remaining ice dripped away under the heated mana coursing through him. Regaining some of his vitality, he crossed both keyblades in front of his face. "...calling you the undisputed master of disguise would be an overstatement..." He sudden cast both weapons out to his sides. "Too burly, too early, too little, too late! Set me behind an inescapable fate! TIMEBLIND!" Troy stepped forward, struggling for a second before the air a distance behind him visibly shuddered. He promptly began his blind charge to the center of the group. |

Yes... disturbances are making themselves known, alright... and the rate you people are showing up, it would look like they're closer to truly surfacing, as well." he nodded to Rad. "...it looks like your... training will be occuring a little earlier than I thought." Ryo glanced up at the sky. Having stepped off his porch he quickly came in contact with the rain that beaded down from the sky. Obviously road conditions had been less than satisfactory in the past while - Ryo grew suspicious again of Star's ambition on a day like this, but he shoved the thought aside. "If I'm not mistaken, tonight there's a storm warning for coastal Osaka. In that case... that is when I'll see to it you get the workout you're looking for. Star, I imagine you can give us a hand? That is, if you're not busy at that time." Ryo shielded his eyes as thunder crackled off in the distance. He saw very clearly the distortion in the sky. |

He let his hand fall, plunging into a small white gap that appeared in the air at his side. Dragging a similar-styled yet green-shaded keyblade out he crossed them both in front of his face. | "...hm..." Ryo glanced up as another flash erupted above him. The storm had seemingly intensified in the span of seconds. In the light he could clearly see something falling rapidly - he stepped back as he could make out the now more-humanoid shape. "You both wait here... don't move a muscle, got it?" Ryo darted over to a shed nearby, barging into it and coming back out with what looked like a thick metal plank. He threw it to the ground, standing on top of it as it lit up with a bright white aura. He shot a glance to the two as the debris suddenly launched off, taking Ryo with it. The rain now began to come down harder than before... it would have taken a fine eye to notice it, but the distortions in the air were no longer in sync with the blasts of lightning... |

| The NES GB is quite spiffy, but why ANYONE in their RIGHT MIND would pay that much for any of these titles is beyond me. Price gouge. Plain and simple. I would think about paying the normal GBA cart price for a collection, but... no. Just no. |

| What many people were looking at as a sudden thunder storm was quickly turning into something more. Ryo looked up, still crusing at a steady rate down one of Osaka's backstreets on the charged slab of metal. What appeared to be a spire of blue metal slowly crawled out of one of the largest distortions in the air - now a steady occurance. "Right on time." Ryo hunched down, speeding up as he continued towards Bel's ground zero. |

| Rad darted by Troy as he stepped out of the stairwell access just behind him, following him up. Quickly he noticed, out of the windows that lined the wall opposite, the rain that relentlessly pounded the buildings around them. "Why does this seem SO familiar..." Already he was prepared - he held a small keychain with a lightning bolt attached to it, clenched within his fist. |

| Another teen stood a distance away, one of the gate's cold metal bars clenched in his hand. He stood, staring dully at the cemetary's other visitor as he lightly shut it behind him. His brown hair was spiked, yet still sagged down. He was dressed in a simple black shirt and trousers. "They make locks a little differently around here, of course." he did the lock behind his back, him obviously having done it before. |
