Fyxe: Either way though, they sure are one of the most interesting layouts on the board... Well, more like one of the sexier layouts. Even if you don't draw them yourself, it shows that you have some good tastes in art.

Everyone: While Fyxe can't draw as good as that artist, I'm pretty sure that she is a better drawer than me, ugh... I probably only have a few things that I have drawn that I can salvage, but that's it. Why can't I be good at things besides video games?

Anyway, I think I have some topic to introduce. Lately, I've been having some weird and scary dreams lately. Just last night, I was dreaming about playing Duke Nukem and the night before, I had a creepy dream about my dad dying from some form of cancer or something... *Shudders* But I seem to be remembering my dreams more and more... Do you people have any dreams that you remember from the past at all, or maybe a dream you just caught today?

Hmmm, maybe I should have fix that. Still, do you have any dreams to share or want to share, Fyxe?

It would be kind of hard to blame cheese though, since I usually never eat the stuff. Let's just say my brain was trying to be clever again and messed up, what a shock.

#47 has to be Kwan. He's one of the few, if not, only person that would post something like that. Well... I'm not that confident.

Man, you guessers need to stop guessing all of them.

Sheesh, kind of wishing I played Link's Awakening a little more, then I would have more to contribute, but... if the select glitch existed in the first, did Nintendo decide to fix it in the DX version or did they think that the color addition was good enough?

Heh, I was wondering where Lilina came from, but thank you for answering my question. But this isn't another evil "Every avatar is a guy" thing, right?

They are looking pretty good though, very nice job with them.

Just wanted to make sure. Your last display of avatars taught me a viable lesson of "thinking before you look and before you speak to... redeem yourself."

Though, that reminds me... I really gotta get to trying out the 4th Fire Emblem game that's been sitting on my HD, doing nothing for days now. In all the stuff that's happened, I totally forgot about it.

Hmmm, Lyn kind of reminds me of this hot green-haired girl in this one anime, and interestingly enough, she has a brother named Len. I don't know if there is a coincidence or what, but... is she one of your enemies in that game? Just making sure on that part.

Wow, I honestly didn't expect her to be the main character. Not a common thing in the console RPG world, unfortunately. I mean, the last female main character I saw in an RPG was in FF6, and that's like around a decade ago!?

So, about the animation Fyxe... You think it's gonna be longer or shorter than Roy's animation?

Personally, if I ever get a home of my own, I'm going to have a cat and turtle as pets. But I hope either of them don't decide to go mess it up on me now. Pets are great to have, but they can be a messy hassle at times.

But now... the pet that I wouldn't want is probably... some insect. I mean, it would be kind of pointless to keep one around, because they don't really live too long. Eh, what a lame choice... Don't worry, I'll find SOMETHING unique, but I'm still thinking here...

She seems to have a pretty interesting attack animation there, brief and smooth. But in the Fire Emblem series, a lot of the main characters seem to be using a sword (Could be all of them, I don't know. Just referring to Marth, Roy, and now Lyn on this one) as their main weapon of choice. Then again, it's a clich

Geez, I'm just hoping that people didn't notice this thread yet...

But I been really wanting to get this game ever since playing the second one. Planning to get it today or tomorrow, if I have enough money after buying books that is... One thing that I'm looking forward to is the mapmaker, mainly because it sounds like it's had a MAJOR upgrade from the one in TS2. Also, since the single player mode had such a nice feel to it, even though it lacked a LOT of story, I thought that since this one had an actual story and new levels, I might as well buy it.

And of course, all those interesting challenges and Arcade Leaque stuff to get hooked into as well. Man, I think that I'm going to be closed out of contact for a while after today.

Though, I would really like to hear more about the Mapmaker from those who have fiddled with it. I mean, what's it like?

Max, I really hope you were joking around there. Because that was pretty cold of you and I didn't really find it funny at all. But I'm not going to argue about it in here, because I don't want to go about getting myself and others banned about it, but please... even if it was a joke, it was tasteless and still derespectful.

Anyway... I going to do some more work and stuff. So, if I don't come back online due to some circumstances, you best all have a good day and don't go insulting and making nasty jokes against each other. Because I really hate seeing it in this thread.

Heh, tell that to the Mission Impossible team then, XK. Their stuff seems to LITERALLY do that. Gotta say that is kind of a waste just to give somebody a message like that, they could easily just decide to delete the message after being played, not have it self-destruct and kill you before you actually get a reply in time.

Now XK, Mr. EAD ALWAYS had the stats E, A, and D. But what I'm surprised was that Blood Falcon's machine was named Hell Hawk in the first place, because I honestly didn't even KNOW the name of the machine until yesterday.

Hmmm, so we're gonna have two mothers here real soon. While I know how Imoto, I'm not sure what Anya is thinking about it really. But, I hope it's gonna turn out well for the both of you and that you have some healthy babies to take care of.

So, congratulations to the both of you.

Jizuko and Valcion left? Why? Well... that sucks, I had a lot of respect for Jizuko , and then he vanishes. I wonder what's up, if it's anything personal. I can kind of understand why Valcion left though. Not gonna say, because if you read around the board, it starts to show itself.

So, is staff just gonna let this sit? Or will they decide to find a few good men or women suitable for the staff positions?

*Looks back a bit* Wow, I missed a lot of stuff. And I kind of wish I didn't...
*Sigh* Seems that my latest addiction to Timesplitters: Future Perfect and my lack of wanting to be online a lot is getting to me. Oh well, after what happened on April Fools' Day, I really didn't had what it takes to post at the time.

Oh yeah, who here is still suffering from the effects of Daylight Savings?

Alright, alright. That's enough of that now. You can't exactly classify something like that, Imoto. Stereotyping 'Americans' as not bright just because they still use a non-metric system is kind of contradicting in itself. Most, if not all scientists here USE the metric system in their studies, and it's not like we don't know about the metric system here, it's probably one of the first things that you learn in the first grade or so. In fact, it's used in a science class at school every day, and other things. Besides, we could possibly change to a metric system of measurement one day, but since many people here are accustomed to the non-metirc system, the change would be economically damaging and frustrating for some. So, that's probably a reason why we still have it. It might or might not change, but at least we are being taught the metric system so we aren't left to wonder... "Why did that speed limit sign say '100' in Montreal, while people are only going 60 MPH?" While I'm not saying that Americans are all bright, it's incorrect to say EVERY American is not bright either. Sorry for my defensive rant, but stereotyping is just... "Meh" in my opinion. Makes us pre-judge things before we actually see them for what they are. And while I am an American, I'm not exactly patriotic here, because America isn't a perfect country. I like living on it and all, but I look at my country with a neutral point of view.

*Sigh* So... what's this about Beyblade? While I'm not too interested in the show at all, I saw a commerical of a movie coming out and I didn't know what to think of it really. Because I tend to look down upon anime series that have their own movies, because the movies just seem like they're there for milking the consumers. Then again, I kind of formed this opinion because of lame Pokemon having like 6 movies now... I mean, do people still watch that show anymore? (Not gonna bite off anybody's head that does still, but it's... really hard to find on TV anymore.)

Imoto: Well, I'm sorry if I was a little too rash with my rant myself. I respect your opinion either way though, because we are kinda off by still having the Imperial system of measurement as the main type here. I don't know the reasons why we haven't changed yet. The metric system is easier and more flexible to work with overall. Because compared with converting from feet to miles against converting meters to kilometers, the metric system is a lot simpler. Heck, I think I knew about liters and such, because I got the imperial system's measurement of volume. I still get confused on what's bigger at times, a pint or a cup... Either way though, I didn't take it personally and I sure wasn't planning to start an argument here, so no real need to apologize. Just was making a point there, that's all.

But I can understand why you would think that, the US has made lots of goofy ass mistakes and while I won't name them all, the lawsuits after spilled coffee and how there wasn't a warning label on it, and then WINNING the court case. Yeah, that's just... plain awful. Though, I'm wondering Imoto... since Switzerland was a neutral country in WWII. Did anything war-like (such as a attack or some incident of the war spilling over onto its soil) happen in its borders at all? Because I was always fascinated about how Switzerland had all this war going on around its borders, yet remained in a neutral country and basically out of the war, I would think.

And about Valcion's and Jizuko's leave, I was more surprised about Jizuko leaving more than Valcion. Valcion was actually kind of hinting it in that thread of his on General Chat. Though, I'll try to see if he's around on AIM and say something. As for Jizuko, he was quiet after that incident involving Yiffy Kitten's demotion, so I guess that could be one of the reasons why he decided it was best to put the board in the past. Probably best not to go too deep into that here though.

Kyouji: Alright, I'll see what this new Beyblade is all about, to see what it's like before I start going on to think that it's horrible. Though, I doubt that I'll ever try to look at another Power Rangers spinoff again. They just seem to get worse and worse each time, and besides... the whole thing's getting old.

Oh yeah, Imoto, if you need a basic idea on the American School System, here's a site with something: http://www.usastudyguide.com/overview.htm

It's not great, but it's a start.

Anyway, I think that Tamarin nailed a good reason on the head, as well as Kitten Yiffer. The US IS probably too lazy to convert into Metric and it would be pretty costly now to go out and change every road sign that had distance or weight/mass involved.

And Trapster, again... read deeper into the posts. I don't know if you being silly or goofy with that last post, but Kitten Yiffer was saying that because of America's law system and the retarded civil lawsuits we're known for, the Swedish are spoofing the fact that people now had to CLEARLY mark things were dangerous to smartalec morons or else, SUING TIME!

EDIT: Ha! That info about Switzerland's neutral stance during WWII just makes me think that nation is even cooler now. I always thought that Switzerland was the country with the smartest choice at that time and I can see why it made that smart choice, and it's kind of cool hearing about a country I don't know a great deal about too. I mean, I hear about the UK, Germany, Spain, France, and other countries in history books and on the news, but does anybody talk about Switzerland that much? Not a lot, but yeah. If I ever visit Europe someday, I will definitely make a stop in Switzerland and maybe ride the trains.
