Posted on 12-15-04 09:52 AM, in I have ABS! (generic kind) Link
HRM recenty ive gotten in shape enough to where my abs are very visable but lol the right side feels/looks tighter than the left its muscles are more compact and harder while the left side is looser and seam to look "longer" than the other abs. Being they dont go straight across. Probably because i swim unevenly and i swim alot... But yea never thought i would have a complaint about visable abs :-P. Anyone else have this occurance?

I think with all the releases people make full of screen shots for yi hacks kinda takes away from the excitement in it... Though a few screens are nice I think people are bombarded with them with yi hacks. I think squash monsters editor is quite fine to make a hack with. Though like smw it takes alot to make a good hack besides new levels. ANYONE can make a new level :-P its squeezy throw in some new gfx and asm hacks then people are interested. Today i would have to believe alota the experience people are looking for is the gameplay and visual pleasure. Hope this helps you guys.
NOTE: Reason ive never really released a hack is due to I don't beleive i have yet met those standards. Because if ya release somthin not up to standards its almost useless to the comunity...kinda like givin someone a steam engine instead of nuclear

For the maze with vines i suggest either:
1) Making a bottom tile for the vine so its not all chopped up and make a new "more full" looking vine for on top so its not all.. boring
or 2) make a net though edit the graphics of it so that its got vines growing around it or just make the wiring on it vines instead :-P
Either of these sound like they'd fix that problem
Though I find the rest of the screen shots all going with the same "theme" so that looks good to see random themes in each difrent level is annoying

I personally would have prefered they kinda skimed over the end of FF7 with this amazing 3d rendering . That would have been grabbing intro for the movie... (and added to its length) following up around a 30-70hr game with a 1hr movie doesnt seam as... satisfying. Hopefully they do lots of detail as in the game and not just zoom through everything. Also there is one thing im very excited about which is Uematsu is doing the music still!!! XD good stuff

Hey squash looks nice, but I believe this shouldn't be in smw forum either... Unless you've done something amazing! Though if this is any relation to the project you were previously working on, I believe I know what you wrote this in. Though I won't say anything in case its some sort of surprise and your being devilish and teasing people

Well for that I could help with an X editor figuring ive done an X3 editor... I would just need someone to help with C4 compression in the rom or someone who can help find data because elixirnova=sucky at finding data.

I personally would like a universal decompressing tool! And some hacks for the megaman series on snes I'm sure if someone was interested they could put "some"! use to my editor :-P

Edit: uh and a 75%-100% finished zelda3 hack

Also I would like to see DKC editors and...A SMB2 hack with some nice stuff in it besides new levels!

Yes sadly it's true not much need to change those games. Unless you were going to do an ASM hack to it then... theres not much you can use an editor for... unless its a hex editor. And its not that hard to do asm hacks once you learn it ive done quite a few asm hacks to fighting games

My mind just began wondering this question and as i was looking around at group made RPG's with RPG maker and thought how many of them must be boring So im going to do a study on what common things do the best rpg's in history have, based on storyline, gameplay, music, color schemes, 2d or 3d, types of magic, legacies/legends, hero/villan, romance, battle system, their world, fine details, controlls, characters, time period its set in, religion, and how did the creator "hook" the player. And also things within it that helped you connect your emotions into the game. Do respond i hope to get many replies

One thing the bouncy platform it was kind of intended to have balls that are "magically" held together hence why the graphics are not meant to rotate for the bed... Id definatlly reccomend maybe a "chalk-drawing" of it so that maybe it would not look like it gets chopped when it bends, or just make it into little circle drawings.

Other than that this looks very nice with chalky texture or pencil'ish texture it would even be better.

The status bar... Well i like it with color but the default coor scheme isnt very apropriate for the theme. Maybe just a palette hack with some more "pale" chalky colors. Or possibly edit the gfx to be more hand drawn looking, but I like the idea of having color in the status bar.

Edit: Will there be any inverted levels ya know looking how pencil actually looks black lines on white bg?

Posted on 05-07-05 08:49 PM, in Buying Speakers Link
Hrm I just bought a new reciever *cheap one* to support DPL II for my ps2 games and some movies. It says it supports 110W per channel and I didn't know if there were certain limitations to the speakers i can buy for it? Such as is there a point at which certain higher level speakers will make no difference? And im not looking to spend thousands of dollars on this, just dont want to get ripped off for some crappy speakers. Any suggestions on where to buy speakers with good help or prices would be much obliged also.

Posted on 05-08-05 06:07 PM, in Buying Speakers Link
Well what i got right now is a Pioneer amp that supports DTS Dolby Digital and DPLIIx and maybe some other decoders. It supports up to 7.1speakers and has has coax and optical inputs for DTS and others that use it so I thought this was a decent system or is the amperage crap or did i miss something??? And actually im upgrading from a simple bookshelf stereo and right now im just using its old speakers till i can learn about what i need to buy\find for this.

As for the speakers i did say im NOT looking to spend that much on speakers!!! OMFG 1000+dollars is alot!! But really I would rather pick up a few speakers at garage sales and before trash day... though those are probably gonna be much lesser quality.

Since I must go out and spend money to get decent speakers to fill for my reciever I was askin will good quality(3-400dollar max though depends on how much I can get out of my reciever) speakers sound bad on my reciever with the quality it is or is mine so low that it will only output crappy sound though i know this is probably hard since you cant hear it hope someone can help a little with a good place to shop for speakers at least...

Posted on 07-20-05 12:57 AM, in PC freezes completely on sound play? Link
Hrm... ever since i installed my sound blaster live 24bit, whenever music is playing of after a while a sound play and eventually it will freeze. Whenever i disable the device in device manager i dont get problems(like when watching a movie just w/o sound) it wont freeze.
So i know for sure it has to do with the sound card/driver.
Anybody know if any driver updates are available anywhere or why this could be happening?

Actually the casing was intended for the older ps2 mobo which is about an inch more of space i needed on both sides But once i get the ps2 slimline itll be very easy to fit into the slightly oversized case for it... Although it fits nice in my hands and is easy to hold.
Im sure if you made one you could design it to fit your hands perfectly like i did
Ill post pics of it in action once i get a ps2 slim(is sad to soon be losing 100+dollars)
And ill try and take a pic of it running a hack on snesstation

I suppose i needed something to do with myself after my attempt at a megaman x3 editor failed
