Googled IP ISP trace, found a page where I could search the american registry (since if this guy was really Shroomy, his ISP would be in Philly, and thus in the USA).

SNES9X.
He didn't ask for an emulator that supports it, he asked when it will be in ZSNES. Try one of the Work-in-progress builds.

Okay, here's what I have to say: As anyone else would say, the title screen is very creative. The ExGFX are perfectly fine, as anyone with eyes can see.

It's GLITCHED. Get over it.

No. Fucking. Way. Do you know how huge of a claim perfect is? The only overworld I've seen that was even CLOSE to perfect was SunnySide SMW.

The backwards question mark block isn't ExGFX and was already acting like a slope, in case you've never seen Lunar Magic's "Add Objects" window.
And your reason for using it was? The only sprite or object I see any point in using in the wrong level is the Spiny because it can appear like another sort of Beetle. Maybe it would be okay if it was actually used for something creative or useful, but as far as I can see, it's just there for the hell of it.

Sure, it's normal for some people to not like hacks, but you have proven that you know absolutely NOTHING about SMW Hacking. You know what's a miracle? That you only have 233 posts of criticizing people's hacks instead of 5,000,000.
The only thing you've proved with that post is that you claim that your hack is sunshine on a stick but can't back most of it up if your life depended on it. Instead of 'biting back', I suggest you argument for your cause.

Or you could just learn to deal with critisism, even if Kagami's was a bit harsh.

As for both the Candyland colors, and for your argument: turn it down a notch.

It's a bit over average I think, which is pretty hard when there are so many good hacks around, but the GFX and palettes kind of makes it feel a bit worse. Behold:

"The ExGFX are perfectly fine, as anyone with eyes can see." I think anyone with eyes would rather like to, upon seeing that, not have eyes.

Much better.

But, alas, the picture I posted in the last post might as well come from the earlier version. I don't see why anyone in their right mind would want their hack to look like this.

YOU DOWNLOADED IT BEFORE I FIXED IT!!!!

Sometime yesterday I fixed it with LIPS, you should patch it with that too. Before that, the ExGFX were messed up. I tested the new one TWICE, and the ExGFX are perfectly fine. So anyone with ExGFX problems, download the IPS again and patch it with LIPS, as Zerodius said. The candyland is too bright? Candyland 1 and 2 are the only ones that have that, and 2 has a very dark background...so it sort of contrasts. I'm the sort that likes contrasting.

*EDIT* When I was typing this post, Jesper posted about this.
I don't do direct patching, I pop it in the ZSNES dir and make a new Mario.smc with the same name.

I was actually quite convinced I did have the latest version because that link was posted by the time I downloaded it, but I suppose it's possible I never replaced it.

But as for the IPS differences, I recall LIPS have a word or two of a bug in SNESTool on its site. *checks* Yep: "the IPS encoder avoids the rare "0x454F46 (EOF) offset bug" that SNESTool's IPS encoder has.". So in other words, if any of the programs are buggy, SNESTool is probably it.

I've seen 'newbie' being used in a Tv series. I think it was on a police station, or some type of office, where they'd just hired this new dude, and then said that he was just a newbie.

I don't remember from what it was, since it wasn't from something I watch regularly. I was just zapping through the channels, and happened to be there, just for that scene.

Anyway, I've seen people use 'midbie' for people that are neither, but I think it sounds a bit odd.
Newbie is a general expression in english, LizardKing. It's not just for the internet or gaming.
