Just for posterity, if you want to mass rename a group of files - photos from your camera, perhaps - just select them all and edit the name of the first file and the rest will adjust. It works in XP, but I don't know if it works in older versions of Windows since I just found out two years ago.

Uh.

YOU CAN'T SEARCH USING A CACHED PAGE!
If that was possible... then archive.org would have been perfect.
And magic. As long as we're talking the Wayback Machine, I found a Firefox extension that can open the Wayback archived pages for the page you're on currently.

Depends if you flee in panic whenever you see a command prompt or not.

As someone that's been beta testing this since, basically, the atom was invented, I can tell you that it's good and that I've been waiting for a demo to come out. 1UP, from the trailer, is "our" brand, by the way. I had a few hacks planned under the name, and I did release a demo, but it just seems like I'll never release a full hack. I'm also a big fan of the new Mario, although my first - and current - impression is that he looks too damn angry. Simon justifies this with the fact that he's mad Peach is gone, but... damn, Peach is -always- gone!

I'm reminded of what Steve Jobs once said about online greeting cards: "These guys spared no expenses, they even used multiple colors! Honestly, these things makes me slightly embarassed to be human."

I'm not saying it isn't alive and well - I'm just saying it's hard for it to "survive" when it didn't even exist!

umm... are you feeling ok?
Exist when the rest of the DOSes died down in the late eighties? FreeDOS was conceived in the mid-nineties. I'll never try joking with you again.

Toblerone rocks, but it's more "luxurious"... you don't see people getting a Toblerone instead of a Snickers.

I've managed to get around this by typing the text elsewhere, copying it, right-clicking and pasting it, but it's quite an annoying procedure. Also sometimes when a page is done loading, it goes back to the last one as if I'd hit Back, except the Forward button remains grayed out.
You have a borked profile folder, one way or another. When you install Firefox, it can import the necessary data you need from Mozilla's own profile folder. Do it. Seriously. It'll even be worth reinstalling the extensions.

Maybe to get across the relative change he's looking for, if it involves editing a hex value - knowing what I know, it probably won't and will require an ASM hack since it'd make no sense to store two copies of the jump height physics when they're identical in both Mario and Luigi in the original SMW.

Well, I was unsure before I tasted it but I relized that it was good. Different tastes.

What kind of chocolate is it in Toblerone? I may have tasted it.
Swiss milk chocolate, almond nougat and honey. You *must* have tasted Toblerone. They're the yellow triangular things in small pieces.

And the universal version of the Wayback Machine extension mentioned above...

Drag this to the link toolbar. (Yes, it's "stolen", but I could have written the same code in a minute - it's ridiculously easy.)

And there is; HyperSnap-DX and HyperCam. He probably edited the movie with iMovie, a program that comes with new Macs. If you buy a decent camcorder these days, you're almost bound to get video editing software with it, so I don't know about any standalone PC versions offhand.

Edit: I might be drunk. Just use Windows Movie Maker if you have Windows XP.

We have segments?

When I said "die down" I meant in number of variants available. A lot of companies had taken the leap to shell extensions for Windows instead. - like those sticking extra buttons in the title bar.

You stopped?

Windows Me is the worst Windows I've ever tried. And that's saying a lot. If I was still stuck with it I'd need therapy.
