Nope, that makes you a klepto.

I myself don't regularly lighe things on fire, but I'm very facinated by fire, and I could just sit and watch one for the better part of five hours, and be fully entertained and enjoy every second of it.

EDIT: It seems Kefka made a similar comment to mine... but mine's better!

I think that image was inspired by the Great Gazoo of The Flintstones fame.

Fuck Gazoo. Fuck him up his stupid little green ass.

It's entirely probable that there's extraterrestrial life out there. Whether they're capable of visiting us (or interested in it) is a different matter. This also depends on you're personal definition of the word "living". Would a colony of silicon-based growing crystals that could communicate to eachother via light waves, but be virtually oblivious to our existance count as living?

Anyhow, the formation of life as we know it is still a bit of a mystery. What we do know for sure is that it involved the combination of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen in just the right way. It was also something that happened over a long period of time (as you'd expect, gas and dust doesn't just turn to flesh overnight). It's a certainly complex and rare situation, but considering the size of the known universe alone, it's probably happening somewhere as we speak. And that just applies to the formation of life as it may have happened on Earth. There might be other ways, again depending on how you define "life".

"Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us."

Maybe this is my fault for not mentioning it more specifically earlier, but one guess per person per question per hour.

I'll let this one slide, and ignore both your guesses. But wait an hour, and then make one guess.

I'm not an agressor at all, and I haven't been in too many fights. In fact, I can only think of three right now (though I know there's at least one more) that I've ever been in. Two of those (and any of the additional ones, I can assure you) were acts of retaliation. The other one was when I was much younger, and I made fun of some kid. He got mad and started pushing me around (yeah, I was kinda being an asshole).

While I don't look for trouble, I sometimes lose my patience with people when they blatantly disrespect the barriers I've put up. When folks cross certain lines, I'm more likely to stand my ground. Moreso depending on mood, too. Even then, I don't initiate anything, but most of the time the other person has been looking for a fight, anyhow.

And I'm a little bit lanky, in actual fact. But as it's been said, adrenaline has certain benefits in some situations...

Anyhow, fighting is generally stupid. I don't even really condone it in retaliation. But I can respect that fighting back, enduring distant insults from strangers, or running away makes a whole lot more sense than just sitting there getting your bones broken.

If they're both in identical sacks, the air resistance won't be any different for the ball than it would be for the feathers; and since they're off the coast, the sack of feathers will hit the water first, becaue they fall at equal speeds and the feathers were dropped first.

The steel ball will be more likely to his the ground first, though, because the feathers will probably absorb some water and retain some air, giving them some degree of boyancy, and causing them to either float to the top, or fall slower in the water. The ball will retain little to no air, have little to no boyancy, and fall all the way to the bottom of the ocean.

Ball hits surface of water second, but hits the ground at the bottom of the ocean first. The feathers will hit the ground much later (if they hit the ground at all).

Well, since the subject of tournaments has arisen just recently (a concept which I hope shall spread to many different games), Myself and Kefka got to talking over a game of Yahoo! Pool. How would you folks feel about a pool tournament?

It's a fairly easy process. You need to have a Yahoo! account and some basic knowlege of pool in order to play. If you don't have the former, you can set one up in the span of about five minutes. If you don't have the latter, it's easy to learn.

To get to the Yahoo! Pool tables, you can go to http://games.yahoo.com, sign in, and click "pool" under "Arcade & Other Games". If we were to have this... I suppose we'd need to pick a game room, but I guess I'll leave that up to the rest of you.

Anyone interested? Sign up here.

I'm back!

Sorry it took so long, folks. I've been pretty busy between schoolwork and the Victoria Day weekend (bit of a big vacation time where I live), but I'm slightly less busy now, so I managed to whip up three more of these for you guys.

NSNick got it for one point (and yes, that's Kefka in the screenshot).

As for Angel: you're really close on 25, and way off on 23. Although I do see the resemblance, I feel I should point out that the three round things at the bottom of the object are actually a part of the platform, not the wheels of the vehicle.
