Kind of a bump, but I have things to add to the conversation.  Everyone I know thinks the community sucks. I play with my friends nearly exclusively, although sometimes a random game sometimes brings pleasant surprises. For example, once I entered a game, and I found Kiwibonga, and I didn't even know he played GB anymore.  I found Randy53215 as well. But if you can set up a game with all of your friends, it's extremely fun and never really gets old.When the buddy list goes down, we're all screwed, though.  Heh.And I thought Havoks quit. Like, last year. |

| "Grass Canons" by the Olivia Tremor Control. Take your sixties pop (Beach Boys/Beatles). Throw even more drugs into the mix, and odd-and-end sounds. You get the Olivia Tremor Control, except they came 30 years later. "Grass Canons" is one of the lesser poppy tracks on the album, but is still very accesible compared to some other things on the album Black Foliage (like "The Bark and Below It"). Lots of xylophone is used here. |

| So apparently, lyrics = paragraphs...? WTF? Anyway... "Mount Eerie" by the Microphones. Title track from their latest (and last) release. The whole album is very strange, being a concept album about the solar system and the sun and such. Then you have this mountain that Phil (main dude) grew up by. "Mount Eerie" itself is actually a collection of songs from Phil and a few of his buddies put into one track. There's Phil, Mirah (also on K Records) and even the owner of K Records has his own song in here. It's a really weird song, but I like it. |
