Well, I dont think it's the Fan cause when I put my hand to the back of the computer I can feel the air being blown out. Plus I can hear it too. I never had any problems until I did the windows update. I've heard of that happening to a couple other people also. I don't know if it was a bogus update or if Microsoft screwed up or what.

Hmmm, it probably did. I think I recall it putting things in and deleting the old things. Then it kept giving me reminders every once in a while to resart my computer. And had a 2 minute countdown. It gave me the option to restart later. I'm not sure if I accidently clicked on the restart now button or not but it just turned off by itself. Then I couldnt get back on the computer until I waited. I tried using the "restart at last known good configuration" but that didn't seem to help.

Well, i tried unistalling service pack 2. But when it gets to running proccesses the computer shuts off. So apparently that part triggers that program or whatever that makes my computer shut off.

Well, I know some program is conflicting with the service pack 2. So anyone have any programs to suggest to remove the conflictin programs? cause removing the service pack aint gonna happen. I ran Registry Mechanic. But that didnt get it. But I'll try anything else. I'm tired of this shutting off on me.

Well, it loks like re-installing Windows must be my only option. I turned off my firewall (AVG Antivirus) but it still turns off. And if it is a failing power unit I guess I'll just have to find out when I have this repaired.

Edit:

For future reference, I got my computer working. I started it up in diagnostic startup. That starts only the required programs to keep the computer working. So whatever programs were conflicting with the Windows update are not on. The computer has been working for 30 minutes straight now so I'm sure I know how to keep it working. I'm eventually gonna have to get it back in Selective Startup again after I figure out what programs were giving me problems before.

I got to The place where I can choose my startup options by selecting run on the Start Menu and typging msconfig.

Well, the shinobi sprite rocks. The background is possibly not up to par with the Shinobi sprite but it seems better than the previous graphics.

The mario Kart R hack kicked ass. Even tho the basic structure of the tracks were unchanged the graphics and little shortcuts put in kicked some serious ass.

If he took off the red then it is in danger of looking like any other hack out there. It seems like an ok hack. I tried out the virtual boy emulator so I don't really mind the red. In fact someone is remaking Zelda 1 on virtualboy.

I'm pretty sure I can fix this with Hijack this but I'm not sure what to delete. Earlier I could not even save pictures from the internet but Someone else showed me a few things to delete and that fixed that problem. Anyway, here is the log. I am willing to delete anything to get this fixed.

Sweet, I woudl love either a rom hack or a track editor for this game. The 1st gba F-zero tried to be that but it sucked big time.

Kudos to you for sticking with your project. Don't mind the few trolls around here. Um, you ought to listen to the non this game sucks comments tho. As another said try to make other things closer to red, change the water color to purple, and fix the graphics for it.

Well, I did the rootkit revealer but the only program I showed is one that I use. I have done adware and spyware removers also. I might wind up deleting the hard drive and starting fresh. That sux cause I just did that a week ago and Now I'll lose what I had barely gotten back.

I'm not sure, but it was a program that I already knew about so I'm not worried. Anyway I did fix the problem tho. I did it by opening the task manager and ending different processes until I found the one that was keeping my computer from working right. Then I turned off the net and system restore. Then I ran lots of antivirus software scans and adware and spyware. It was a bad problem but I finally nailed it. Then I had to get some AVG firewall cause I don't want this to happen again.

Somewhat on topic if you go to http://www.thegshi.org/ you will find what iI think the most thurogh cheat code list out there for Terranigma. I believe those par codes were converted from raw hex addresssess so if you ask you might be able to get those.
