Mine is 1.72 also. I also tried using it on Visual boy advance CE. If you want I can upload my rom and you can try fixing that one. Idon't know if you noticed that gb colorizer messes up the music. Do you think that can be fixed also? If not I may have to try and disable the music or advice people to turn off the sound while playing it. Thanks. | |||

Its not a master emerald. One of the games makers said in a interview that it's just a breakable object that you have to jump on to get inside the pipe below.Like those rocks that you have to break sometimes to get into pipes. | |||

Well, I guess there was to be a 2nd act. If it had made it into the game it would of been only 1 act tho. But they ran out of time and reduced it to zero levels. here's a interview with one of the games creators. He talks about how the level got cut among other things. Theres a sonic 1 hack that adds in the spin dash. I thought that was pretty cool. It doesnt work perfectly but its still awesome. | |||

Well, I started colorizing my Mario Land 1 hack and came across a problem. The gb colorizer stores the color info in bank 0. But there is some sprites for this game in this area. So it started colrizing these guys for me and in some cases it dont look good. Also one of the enemies has begen acting differently. A rock that normall you should be able to climb on acts like a goomba instead when you step on it. So, Im just talking for talking sakes cause I am not sure if the guy making gb colorizer will continue updating it. Would it not be possible to expand the ram and create a new bank? And we could then be able to color games without worry of effected other things? I will continue working on my hack but may not colorize it. |

Maybe its a little late for this, but have u ever thought of adding a big spider web to the end of the 1st level? I think it would look alot more awesome seeing that spider descending down one of those. (edited by iamhiro1112 on 02-07-05 06:48 AM) |

I'm disapointed this program stopped short of SMAS support. It's a pretty awesome program. I hope if someone picks it back up they can add support for that game. | |||

Well, If I knew the method to find empty space to place the colors I'd definately do that. I just about got my colorization of SML complete but there is a couple ugly glitches. I can fix most of them. But it did some odd thing where it made all the tumbling rocks behave like little goombas act like goombas when you step on them. So it makes later levels unpassable without some kind of invincibility code. | |||

Would anyone be willng to do that for me? I ain't got that kinda skills yet. I'm about ready to release the hack in the next couple days. I was thinking of including a cheat file with a code for invincibility but putting that starman would be much more desirable. | |||

There are graphics for being inside a body in Mario Land 2 also. I think it'd be pretty awesome to see those in a mario world hack. It's looking good overall. | |||

Here's a little hack I've been working on for a while. I redrew most the graphics in Mario Land to make it a little more pleasing to the eye. I thought this was a fun game but It was really lacking in the graphics so I fixed that. You will also notice that the enemies in the game have been rearranged. I used Mario Land version 1.1 for this hack so you will probably need that rom. Here's some pictures of the game in action. First Black and white. THis version is bug free. And now the Color Version. There is a couple bugs in this game. There are no more tumbling rocks so it makes the levels with spikes impossible to get past normally. I have included a cheat file with invincibility code. Use that code to get past those parts in world 3. Another glitch appears near the end of the game. You will not be able to get past the final boss. All these glitches came about due to the modifications GBColorizer made to the game. I would reccomend playing the game at least once because its just too damn cool to see what this game woulda looked like in color. Ya, I lost track of who made that hack. Of course you get credit for that portion of the hack. The last version of this hack I announced I did mention I hadn't done the enemy placement. I mentioned it in the forum anyhow. I don't know how to hack text yet so I didn't even credit myself in game. |

Everyone is forced to host their own hacks on their own sites so once that site goes down the hacks are pretty much lost forever. Face it. One day Dark Daiz hacks may one day become lost because of that. Sux. I guess Zophar is the closest thing to a megacollection of Rom Hacks. |

It is pretty cool. If you do make Birdo shoot fireballs forward change the graphics of the fireball to the Mario 2 fireballs he shoots. I dig how u made the hills look squareish. |

I've been trying to use Hexecute and made a table for it using Table Generator Pro. I got the values for the letters in Nesticle but whenever I save the table All I get is random letters in hexecute. No sentences whatsoever. Anyone know how to fix this? Here's a pic of what I've been using for making the table. I've tried eveything I could think of. I tried with capital lettering the table values. I tried using the big and little letters, and both. Not sure how to get the script to show up correctly. I need to change the text for a hack I'm making. Anyone got any advice? Or perhaps a already prepared tbl file? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
