When I'm speaking English and I'm relaxed, I tend to have a slight southern-drawl, but it's not very pronounced, so it's easily missed.

I actually tend to change my accent depending on who I'm speaking with... but that's also related to needing to use multiple languages here where I live.
For instance, if I go a bit to the east or to the north, I need to switch out of the local dialect, and into "standard" German (most Germans and can't understand the Swiss dialect at all). Going west though, I just slightly change my accent to adapt to the dialects over there... until I go far enough west, and I have to switch to French (which I don't like, but it's not like I have a choice in some parts of this country ).

Not yet; a late fall release is the earliest I've heard of.

Put it this way - Doom 3 WILL use that memory if you have it. And to good effect, it seems.
Actually, it seems that the jump from 64 to 128MB has the biggest effect; going to 256MB just means it doesn't have to use texture compression, and 512MB means it can keep every texture in the game in graphics memory.
That's what I read, anyway... who knows what the real requirements are until one of the programmers actually says something?

Cymoro: That actually sounds like a good theme to me... why don't you like it?

I'm often up until about 2am or so... I'm trying to cut down on that though, because getting up in the morning is one heck of a PITA when you stay up so late.

I've never had the problem myself, but some people I know have had their computers overheat -- usually because it was placed next to a heater (yes, I've seen people do that...), or somewhere that it couldn't get enough air.
A friend of mine asked me to see what it would cost to get him a new chassis, because he had an overheating problem at one point (it was only one piece of software that would cause it, strangely enough), and even though it seems to be gone, he doesn't want it coming back.

Yeah, definitely a great store.
I got myself a GBA SP, NES Edition, and a "Classic" Zelda to match today.

And those things are really tiny once you see them up close.
It didn't look so small in the display case, but once I got it in my hands....

Oh yes, I'm vividly familiar with the music from the original Doom.
I played the game so much I can hum most of its songs from memory.

But the MIDI file you linked to won't play in WM for some reason... really weird.

Anyway, the theme for Doom3 isn't so bad... it's just different.

I use Mozilla (1.7.1).

Why? Because:
1) I've been using Mozilla/Netscape since NS4.0.
2) I never liked Internet Explorer (for aesthetic reasons).
3) Opera's out of competition for me because it costs money, and I have little enough of that as is.

I don't use Linux, so I don't know anything about browsers for that.

If you'd read the text in there, you'd see it's in London, not Switzerland.

That said... that's a cool thing, lol.
Not something for me though... and sex in one of those things would be totally out of the question!

Well, okay... Switzerland is neither Sweden nor Swaziland (yes, I've met people who couldn't keep those 3 straight).
It's not always winter in Switzerland. There is a summer, and it's generally pretty hot in some places too (it peaked slightly over 40

What puzzles me, is that in several European countries, you're considered a legal adult at 16 years of age, but you're not allowed to drive until you're 18.

I'm something of a newbie (relatively speaking, of course), but I understood that it was a joke from pretty much the start.

But I also have a rather strange sense of humor, so maybe it's just that I fit in here so well.

I'm leaning towards survival -- the results are sometimes brutal when someone doesn't adapt to the prevalent sense of humor around here.
