Somebody remind me (it's been a while since I've played this game ), which level is the one in space, with the spaceship that comes around now and again to shoot a random unlucky person?

Well, the murder count kinda depends on WHERE you set it off in Texas.
There's plenty of open space in that state, so you might actually kill no one (but then, if you don't kill anyone... what's the point of setting off a nuke? )

Besides, I think the $500 fine would be in addition to whatever sentence you'd get for the murders.

Thanks.

Sector Z was my favorite stage, followed very closely by Hyrule castle.

In Sector Z it was always so easy to throw someone far enough away that they couldn't come back.

And Hyrule had those lovely tornadoes to knock people into.

I think Glenn was banned because of his general attitude -- not because of any problems inherent to the staff.

I mean, seriously... telling a mod or admin to "fuck off" isn't exactly a bright idea.

As a relative newbie though, I don't really think the staff here is that bad... it's much better here than at most other boards I've visited (there are only a handful of boards that I consider to have better staff, but they're specialized and don't allow off-topic discussions, so it's pretty easy for them).

Well, the Axe commercials are sometimes funny (sometimes disgusting, and sometimes stupid... but I guess that's advertising these days ).

But in general... STINKBOMB!
I can't stand cologne, perfume, or whatever....
Where I live, most of the people who use it are just trying to hide their poor bathing habits... and the end result is stomach-churning.

I think that in general, bumping shouldn't be allowed. I'd say a week or 2 should be the limit normally.
There should be exceptions though, for example in the ROM hacking forums, where it could be allowed so long as it added information to the thread's topic (and wasn't spammy). Or, for instance, someone who's keeping people informed of progress on a project (Lenophis and Jade, for example), that person could have a single thread that they could bump as progress is made. Those might not be the ONLY exceptions, but I think they'd be good ones.

What the heck? Talk about impossible law...
There was a possible explanation for that one (the guy doesn't know if it's true or not, it's just what he heard about it):
Some state senator in Texas decides he wants some bill killed, so he attaches that to it as an amendment, hoping that it would force people to vote against the bill when they realized the impossibility of that. It didn't turn out quite as he'd hoped though; the other senators seemed to look straight past it.

As he said on the page, if it's true, that sort of tactic might explain some other laws on the books.

Cool game.
I got over 48,000 on my first try, and over 55,000 on the 3rd try.

The music was a little distracting for me though, so I had to turn that off.

I don't know why yours wouldn't be working.
It works just fine, but I could never figure out how to play a game over the 'net with any of my friends; it wasn't quite as self-explanatory as Quake or Unreal, and I don't know of any online services like b.net for it, so....

Bleh, I couldn't even get to the first boss.

But then again, I sucked in the original games too.
