The problem, Kahunah, is that the line is NEVER "drawn". Politicians will ALWAYS redraw the line whenever it suits them (meaning they think it'll help them get re-elected).
While I agree that crap like that is bad, censoring it isn't a good idea (and as others have pointed out, censorship is almost impossible on the 'net anyway).

I know I do.
School was easy, I could sleep late during the summer, and I could play games (on the computer or outside) almost all day when not in school or in bed... damn, to be young again.

It went something like this:
Me: "Doom3 is coming out, Doom3 is coming out!!! "
Her: "Okay, you'll get it when it's in the stores"
Me: "Doom3 is coming out, Doom3 is coming out!!! "
...

Eventually I calmed down enough to explain that I've been waiting for this since the first rumors started so long, long ago....

Aha. Thanks for the explanation.
Bi-polar disorder is related to those 2 somehow, IIRC, right?

I love watching the sun rise and set when I get the chance, so I'll vote for that.

But I also love taking walks in the middle of the night, and enjoying the calm and peace... and through a forest during the day, to see all the life.

I basically just love being outdoors... too bad I have a job indoors.

I've had a huge spree compared to normal... I usually get 3 - 5 posts per day; so far today I've got almost 50 posts.

I don't really aim for any particular number of posts. I just post if I find the topic interesting enough, and I have something to say about it.

Seems that there's been a lot for me to post about today though.

I've never seen it in my life. I even don't think I can see it where I live.

Would be cool some time to take an extended vacation somewhere up north where it'd be visible.

My only "goal" with posting is to have 1000 posts by the time I've been here 200 days, so that I can get a custom title... should be pretty easy to do that (and I've got nearly 90 days to go, so I've got plenty of time).
And even then, it's no big deal if it takes longer than that to get the 1000 posts; so, whatever.

That's very strange.
I use PNGs all the time with Paint Shop Pro, and I've never noticed that happening.

What options are you using to save the PNG?
It looks like something I would expect from lossy compression, but PNGs use lossless compression.

That's the thing I like the most about id: they wait until it's not just done, but done right, before releasing it.
Some games these days feel like they've been rushed out too early to meet a deadline.

And id's games don't usually have very many bugs, which isn't something you can say about a lot of game companies these days (and software companies in general).

I found a good DVD player in a normal store over here that didn't have a region code.
Picked it up on the spot because it also had several other nice features my old DVD player lacked.
Wasn't expensive either.

As for modding a player that does have a code... I've heard it's possible, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to try it unless you've got some spare cash you don't mind wasting on a replacement, and/or a lot of experience doing such things.

We were rather surprised to find it, actually. It was a good deal though, so we decided we'd get it.

Not like I plan to import any DVD's anytime soon though.
I didn't import any DVD's because I didn't have a player for it; it's annoying to play them on the computer instead of the TV. Now that I have it though, I can finally get some movies that haven't made it over here to Europe.

Yeah, you pretty much need to modchip the DVD player, no? Lot easier for the PC...
Yeah, and of course the procedure is different for every brand, model, and it's possible that they'd have multiple versions of some models that would each have a different necessary procedure... it's not really worth it, in other words.

Well, the games also weren't nearly as huge as current ones are.

I like the CM (soon to be FM) series of soccer games, and since they cover a wide scope, they contain bugs - but the designers usually have a patch ready to go on release date, and support the product well.
CM? FM?
And yeah, support is great... it's a real shame when I company releases a product, gives one or 2 patches to fix the most annoying bugs (if that!), and then drops the game cold (*cough*Sierra!*cough*).
