Not just with mmorpg's, but pretty much EVERYTHING these days. I remember people complaining about strategies in WC3, usually with something along these lines (paraphrased for clarity): "Why can't I beat someone's strategy that they've used hundreds of times with a strategy I just thought of this morning?!?!? IMBALANCE!!!".
Got extremely irritating after a while, and then suddenly I barely noticed those kinds of posts anymore.

No, you specifically said an IDE is "pretty much useless". That's far different from being less important.

Also, MAKE has many uses. It's sole purpose is not to integrate with a compiler.
That's true for several IDEs I've used as well.


EDIT: I don't really want to get into an argument about this, and it's getting off-topic for this thread, so why don't we just agree to disagree about IDEs and such?

I personally use Kega and WGens.
Either one works just fine for me, really.

I'm not sure, but I think Kega might have been discontinued... the website's been down for a while.

Do you have FPS limiting turned on?
If not, try enabling it, and set it to automatically determine the limit.

I use the right-mouse button's context menu for practically everything.


I'd heard of mouse gestures before, but no one ever told me what they were until now... so thanks for the explanation.
I think I might try them out at some point.

The only "real" advantage I've had from Kega lately (although I've been using Gens more) is the SMS/GG support. I liked having everything* supported in a single emulator.
But who knows, maybe Gens will support SMS/GG games at some point, and then I can have everything* in a single emulator again.


*: "Everything" being a somewhat relative term here.

I hate winter, except for skiing.

I don't particularly like summer either (it's usually too hot around here), but I prefer it over winter.
