| Nijote sighed, and did jump on the airship as it took off. Nijote: "After we start moving I'm jumping back down, Star might try something even Janus would have a hard time living through..." Nino: "Yeah... its probably smart to help even if he doesn't want it..." Star hadn't moved one bit, every attack had slammed into him, except on the last one, he tried to defend himself. He swung upwards with his sword, slowing Janus down instantly and stopping his attack before it connected. Star grabbed Janus' arm and started to concentrate a huge amount of time energy into it. Star: "I remember you..." Star laughed a little bit, already knowing the best way to take care of this problem. Star: "Yes... you're the other one lost in time." More energy began to build into Janus' arm with Star's excessively strong grip. Star: "And you've tried to kill yourself. You never could, so let me show you how its done!" Star held on tighter and actually threw Janus' into the air. His sword glowed gray and he lept of the ground towards Janus, just to end up with a knee ramming right into his head and knocking him off course. Nijote: "I don't care about what you think. You're going to need help just to survive. He has had trillions of years to think, trying to fight up front will only get all of us killed. You're supposed to be at least somewhat smart, so start thinking!" Nijote landed on the ground as Star landed on the otherside, getting to his feet quickly. He dashed towards Nijote, the gray energy still in his sword. Her left hand basically appeared with a dagger in it and she knocked the blow off course while dodging, but the sword had no more energy on it. Star: "I know you too..." Nijote tried to move her hand, but it was stuck in that position, the force of the attack hurting the bone, and time energy paralyzing it to make sure she couldn't use it. Star: "Seal of Lightning!" Dante: "Seal of Fire!" Giant seals appeared beneath them both, each getting hit with the others element, and taking their beating. Star *thinking* : "He is matching me blow for blow... I'm not sure if I can pull off a victory..." Dante *thinking* : "This guys tough, really tough, he's like a perfect match... I don't think winning will be easy." Star and Dante practically shot off the ground, colliding in mid-air, just to shoot each other back. Star and Dante: "Damnit..." |

| Dante didn't realize what was happening, he was still in a daze. All of a sudden, he felt people trying to bind him, he couldn't even see properly yet and people were trying to mess with him. He became enraged as his pride was hurt by this. Dante: "Get the hell off me!" Dante screamed loudly and a sudden force exploded outwards. Everyone nearby was blown backwards as fire erupted around Dante. He jumped upward and started to come back down with his great axe over head. All normal people, non-cops, had already gotten the hell away from that scene. Dante: "Blaze!" Dante struck the ground with his great axe and all the cops around were fried, their clothes lit on fire and they were burn victims from that day forward, although they didn't have a good chance of living through this anyways. Dante looked around and noticed someone that didn't seem very effected by the attack. Dante: "I see, so you're a warrior." Dante laughed as he pulled his great axe out of the ground and lifted it with one hand, aimed at Legault. Dante: "How about a real challenge!" Dante rushed Legault, going for a devastating horizantle strike. If he missed, he would spin around at least once from the shear power of the attack. |

| OoC: Right, sorry, I'm speeding through the tower, I do kind of want to get this to the climax and finish up the story. Star didn't give Janus time to react as Star plunged his sword into Janus. Star: "Nino, now!" Nino: "Right!" Not even a second after Star attacked Janus, white chains sprang from the ground and latched onto Garro and Kalar, draining something from them. Star: "We didn't have time for this..." Nino: "I know... but it'll be fine..." Odin: "Damnit, forget this! LX!" Odin's new attack was incredibly devastating. Everything around him, suddenly exploded. This sent Fenrir and Drake into the nearby wall, which was going to explode to. Fenrir put more effort into a shield of some sort and stopped his wall from exploding, but Drake didn't have time, being completely surprised by the attack. The entire wall exploded and lava started to poor in and reform it. Fenrir and Odin disappeared again while still fighting. |

| Nijote rushed forward, hoping to actually get Star with something good this time. Nijote: "Evisceration!" Nijote ran into the darkness of energy that was left and a sickening sound was heard. Almost as if someone had just gotten ripped to shreads with a very sharp object. Nijote walked from the other side of the energy, her face incredibly pale and she was stagging, making her look incredibly weak for once. Star began to laugh as lightning started to strike around where the void energy was, then a huge bolt struck right in the middle and lit everything up. Nijote: "Its... not... possible... How could he...?" It was painfully appearent Nijote was bleeding all down her right side, blood trailing behind her. Star looked critically wounded, with both of Nijote's daggers sticking deep into him, many other holds all across his chest and stomach. He laughed again and turned to Janus. Star: "How pathetic. The only person capable of actually making me bleed is about to die. Nothing can stop me now Janus! I will kill my old self and bring myself freedom!" Star started to walk towards Janus, obviously hurt as he was slower than normal, but storm clouds were practically circling around him while he walked towards Jauns, lightning building up, getting ready to strike. |

| Nijote struggled to move and limped towards Janus, her goal wasn't to stall any longer, just to get out of here. Nijote: "We... need to go..." Nijote coughed a little blood as she kept walking, she was only 10 feet away from Janus now. Star: "ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH!" A horrible scream boomed out, and the clousd became more active. Another portal appeared and Star was flung from it with some of the energy, crashing into the ground as a sickening amout of power started to flood through him. Nijote wasn't even a novice at sensing someonse power or emmotion, but his power and emmotions were so filled of rage she almost vomited being so close. She reached out and touched Janus' shoulder and a light enveloped them, when it vanished they were gone. Lunari leaned over the now sick Nijote, trying to get her at least into a stable condition, but even her healing powers seemed to not be working. Lunari: "What happened to her?! Did you see it!?" Lunari was starting to get frantic as Nijote's heart sped up and her tempature rose higher. Lunari: "Why isn't it working?" Lunari focused more healing energy and tried to heal up Nijote's still bleeding wounds, but nothing seemd to be working. Lunari: "Rhiea, get over here and help me!" Rhiea nodded, kind of frightened by Lunari's commanding tone. They both tried to heal Nijote, but again it didn't seem to be effecting her at all. They focused more power in and Nijote's bleeding stopped and her wounds healed. Lunari: "Nijote, what happend!?" Nijote: "His power... its... poisonous... It's so powerful... but its decayed... He... was just... just so... strong..." Nijote still looked in incredible pain as her heart started to beat even faster. Rhiea *whispering*: "Do you think Janus was effected?" Lunari: "No, it was probably all the time energy, Janus is used to its effect on his body, Nijote's never been near that much." Rhiea thought for a second and then pulled out her hammer, Lunari looked surprised by the hammer's very odd power. It seemed to contain a certain amount of time energy, but also an incredible amount of healing powers. Rhiea closed her eyes and a bright light blinded anyone who didn't, when the light receeded, Nijote was asleep on the sick bed. Star: "Damn them... Damn them... They weakened me... I underestimated them... This will take to much time... I might be to late..." |

| Dante: "You'd be surprised how many people say that..." Dante laughed and heaved the great axe back into the air. Dante: "At least I know it can easily break weaker weapons!" Dante took another charge at Legault, already knowing what the best course of action. His great axe lit up at the end. He seemed to fly across the ground in his sudden charge, leaving the tiles of the mall being ripped up and torn apart. Dante: "Weapon Break!" Dante swung at Legault's weapon with tremendous force. If he hit, Legault's weapon would be enveloped in the light that was now on the great axe, lowering its strength and durability, making it do lower damage. If it missed, the attack would flood into the ground and disappear. |

Originally posted by Ronin 20ish hours isn't that short.  Yeah, you might as well try it, sucks that you didn't enjoy it though. Paper Mario 2 is kinda fun, I'm personally not a big fan of it though, after SMRPG it didn't seem right to play an RPG Mario that didn't flow quite as nicely to me. I'm also one of those people that loved the SMRPG battle system though. |

| OoC: Then I'm bringing in a new character. DC stood up and looked around, whoever was here left him. He sighed, a bit discouraged, not even noticing what was going on. DC: "Fine... I know when I'm not wanted..." DC walked away, head drooping. Now, on the other side of the area, where the other two were fighting, a small black portal appeared, with flames leaping out of it from time to time. In a rush of fire someone jumped out from it, wielding a great axe. The thing was probably as big as the person carrying it. The person landed almost inbetween them, but as he touched the ground, he suddenly burst into fire. Dante: "AHHH, DAMNIT THATS HOT!" Dante swung his great axe with one hand and the fire vanished. Dante: "Uh..." Dante looked at them both and regained his form, his voice now expressing pure arrogance and showing his ego. Dante: "Burning Sturmwind!" Dante spun around and looked right at Stephan, stepping forward and swinging the great axe at his mid section, it was going to come up short, but as it crossed in front of Stephan, a whirl wind of fire picked up. Dante brought the great axe above him, and slammed down straight into the middle of the fire tornado. |

| Dante felt the sword stab into him and almost through him, and the wound burned up and scabbed instantly, no real damage done to his body except the pain. Dante: "Heh, you're crazier than me..." Dante's axe had smashed into the ground and he was now standing a rather large crater. He watched the cops get viciously slaughtered and laughed a little on the outside. Dante: "Speed huh?" Dante looked forward as Legault appeared in front of him. He laughed and picked up the great axe again, hanging it on his shoulder. Dante: "How is speed going to help you..." Dante took the great axe into both hands and held it above him again. It started to glow red and anything that was burnable within a foot of him, was instantly incernerated. Dante laughed again as he brought the axe down slowly in an arcing motion so that it'd move back up. Dante: "If there is no where to run!" In a sudden jerk of his arm, the great axe flew into the air, arcing towards where Legualt was standing, at the same time, Dante had suddenly rushed Legault and gotten behind him, now holding him in a full nelson with the strength showing why he could lift such a huge weapon so easily. His attack didn't go as planned though, the great axe's odd shape had changed its direction, and it would land in front of Legault.. Dante: "So what if it won't be a direct hit..." As soon as the axe touched the ground, a resulting explosion of fire and just pure energy had made the crater big enough to almost reach the walls. Dante didn't keep his hold of Legault when the explosion happened, instead he let go and pushed Legault forward, hoping that would end any chance he had of dodging. |

| Raiko: "Thats the worst thing we could do." Raiko had been sitting in the cornor, trying to think of what to do and what not to do. Raiko: "No matter what, we have to keep the young Star out of this. If we interfer, he might not go fight, and never become possessed by the time elemental in the first place." Raiko tried to think some more, he might be an arrogant bastard, but he did know how to work his mind, and how to think up complex solutions to complex problems. Raiko: "We just need to bring him to his senses, or completely destroy him. If we bring him to his senses, he'll probably restore the time line by his own will, if we destroy him, the time lines should be in safe hands. I think we need all the power we can get right now, but we can't do this as a long ass gathering either... Hey... where did Nino go?" Nino hadn't shown up to the sick bay like most of the others, and she wasn't even noticed on the ship. Lunari: "I haven't seen her since Nijote jumped off the ship..." Raiko: "Its to late to worry about that now isn't it...?" Rhiea: "I doubt she did something stupid, she'll show up again!" Rhiea tried to act positive, but it was kind of troubling that Nino wasn't around. Raiko: "Anyways, I think I know what we can do, but we'll need to find at least one of the Time Champion Stars..." Nino had gotten off the airship, but went slower than Nijote had, she was now at the edge of the crater, looking into it. Star stood in the middle, his body glowing and his sword spinning around him. Star: "Where is he!?" Star's sword kept spinning while he said that and Nino knew what he was trying to do. Nino: "Star stop!" Star grabbed his sword and looked at Nino. He started walking towards her, having neglected his wounds, the daggers still in his stomach. Star: "Another bug waiting to die!" Star picked up the speed as a huge dark mass appeared under him, chains flying from it, holding him in place, he struggled to break them, but couldn't. Star: "What is this!?" Nino: "I can't let you kill yourself..." Star struggled again against the chains, still not being able to break them. Nino struggled to keep them there though. She knew she couldn't hold out that long. Star (TC): "Back off, let ME take care of this!" A Star appeared in front of her, glowing with energy, Nino released the chains, just to see Star (TC) charge the other Star. This was an incredibly stupid course of action, and Star (TC) was knocked into the ground. To Nino's surprise, about 50 more Stars appeared, each one doing the same charge, overwhelming (FF) Star. |

| Star: "Shut up Grey." Star looked around, so far, this looked a little fun. Star: "How much of a challenge can a drunken Psi Warrior and a teddy bear put up...?" Star sighed and jumped onto a tree branch, trying to see Teddylot from a different way. Fighting blind wasn't a great idea, but he was going to have to make the first move. Star: "All right, Schwa, this should keep you busy for a bit, entertain yourself." Star pointed the sword at Schwa, lightning and thunder pierced through the calmness and struck right in front of Schwa, the fire that appeared with it began to circle Schwa, trying to burn him alive. Star took his eyes off Schwa and began to search for Teddylot, not wanting to set the entire forest into a blaze untill he absolutely needed to. Star: "All right..." Star jumped from the tree branch to another tree branch and kept repeating trying to track Teddylot down, or at least into attacking. |

| Nijote sighed, she could tell something about this guy was wrong. She kept her thoughts to herself, not really sure what he was planning. Martial arts movie might be interesting though, she was decent with most weapons and hand-to-hand combat... Nijote: "Maybe me and Jarukoth fighting will give you enough inspiration..." Nijote grinned, the last time she'd fought Jarukoth, they both ended up almost dead. A friend had to come rescue him. It had been truely fun. Star got up and approached the back room, the gold coin he'd given the bartender was nothing to be surprised about, even though it was incredibly old, when Star had gotten it, it was hardly worth anything. Time traveling does a lot for you. Star: "I hope you can make this worth the money. Comming back from a hell like place leaves a guy thinking about violence." Star's hair seemed to stand up a little for a second, then dropped back down. |

| Dante laughed as he picked up the axe again. Dante: "Right, shadows..." Dante held the great axe high above his head and focused energy into it. Dante: "Lets see how they deal with this!" Fire enveloped Dante in a huge whirl wind. Dante laughed and he cut through the fire torando heading straight for Legault. Dante: "Fusion!" Dante brought the axe down in front of Legault and two fire balls appeared by the sides of Legault. Dante: "Don't bother moving, you don't have time!" The fire balls crashed into each other and a HUGE explosion occured right where Legault was standing. Dante held his great axe up as a shield, for once having to defend himself against the fire. |

| Star: "To bad I didn't have time to explain..." Star sighed as he lookeed back towards the city and flinched. It was disappearing! Nino: "We're about to be moved to the next floor, and those two still have the poison in them..." Star watched as the ground started to disappear around them. Star: "All right, here we go." Nino: "Yeah..." Nino grabbed Star's hand, so far the floors had gotten worse and worse. She didn't want to know what was going to happen next. Dracoon: "We're about to be taken to the next~~" Dracoon didn't even finish his sentence as he was transported to the next floor. Serra gasped at the sudden cold feeling she had after going through the transportation. What awaited her disgusted her. A body that had been covered in armor, now ripped to shreds. His body was bleeding openly still, but he'd been dead for a few minutes. Nino: "Fenrir..." Dracoon: "Yes... that could very well be..." Dracoon walked forward towards a door in the wall and passed through it, Stacice running after him. Stacice: "We shouldn't seperate from them..." Dracoon: "I don't want to risk it with Star right now... You noticed Janus didn't you? His wound was inflicted by Star's sword." Stacice looked back and noticed the blood on Star's armor. Stacice: "What do you think happened? Star doesn't usually resort to violence so fast does he?" Dracoon: "He's being preassured. He has already realized that Dark Phoenix isn't really in control. At least while Fenrir and Odin are around because they're more powerful than him. Origin doesn't have a say in this either, but we know he's doing something." Dracoon kept walking forward, being sent down the next floor. Stacice was right behind him. Star: "... Schwa... Go ahead and watch out for traps..." Star looked down at Janus and kicked him into the wall. Star: "Get up." Nino's chains hadn't been released from the other two, but now they slowly started to. Star: "I said get up!" Star didn't bring his sword out, but looked threateningly at Janus. Star: "You once asked me for help. You told me to gather as many people as possible. In the original time line, I didn't bring any one and no one else showed up. It was only me and you against all of them! You died... You were weak and died. Axel stomped you into the dirt like you had never fought before." Star actually picked Janus up by the collar of his shirt and help him in the air. Star: "Get stronger or the same thing is going to happen in this time line." The memory flooded back to Star's mind. Janus: "Stay out of this Star, this is my fight." Star: "Right... I understand..." Janus never had a chance, he couldn't match Axel with anything, he was getting crushed. Star tried to jump in, but Janus stopped him. Star watched in horror as Janus was killed mercilessly. Star: "Damnit..." Star looked at Axel, the bastard turned away from Star, practically spitting in Star's face and saying he was to weak to bother with. Star: "You tried to rely on others, you have to have your own strength before they're willing to use theirs." Star threw Janus to the floor and turned his back and made his way towards the door. Nino got beside him. Nino: "Wasn't that a little harsh?" Star: "No. Its going to come soon and he's not ready." |

| Dracoon: "COMP give this information to Schwa." A piece of Dracoon's shoulder chipped off of both sides and combined to form a small ball in the air, it zipped off to give Schwa this information showing a satilite picture and a close up of the meteor. Dracoon jumped off the ridge and headed towards the meteor, deciding not to fly and just landing on the ground. He dashed towards the meteor. Dracoon: "Right, I'm comming." | Not recent at all, I was like 6 at the time. I was told I slept walked, and stepped onto a table with a bunch of stuff on it, and walked length ways across it without knocking anything over. I'm also known to have the balance of a dead cat. |
