I was considering that. Ill have to see how good at ASM i get by the time i am nearing completion. I would love to create some new enemies (even if its only 1 or 2) . I believe that it would most likely be too difficult though. Well just have to wait and see. | |||

Thx guys, that brown hair looks good, but in my mind, the superficial stuff like pallete editing must wait till the end. For now, im really conventrating on overworld design, and ASM hacking. Keep in mind though, i check this thread constantly for new suggestions, and if someone wants to do pallete, or GFX editing, and it looks good, ill probably put it in. Very nice. Some screens are noticable, but most arent. The overworld looks great. Is that all you have been working on? BTW, its usually a good thing to not show everything at once, cause now I basically know where everything is. Great work though. Im amazed. |

Lol, the older link doesnt look good in LTTP at all IMO. Your other pallet editing looks good though. I have some awesome ideas for the hack. Unfortuantly, i cannot divulge them ATM. | |||

Thx alot Orochimaru. Ur hack is looking unbelievable. Uve actually sent me back to the drawing board with my overworld. I thought that it was awesome, but after seeing yours........ Great, thx for hosting it. I have made a few small changes to the one that I just uploaded, so if possible, could you upload the new one to wherever u were hosting it? And, your right... ur overworld skills are excelent. I have a few questions for you if you have time. How do you find all your blocks? Do you make them all? Cause the way I calculated it, there is less than half the # of blocks that you need to make the overworld from completely different blocks, so there has to be a bunch reused. Do you use the search option? Cause when I made my first hack I had tons of extra blocks cause I only used a portion of the overworld. Well, i almost confused myself with that. Lol, anything you could answer would be helpful. Thx. |

Tha alot. Thats basically how i do it as well. I never bothered with the search function. The one thing that really bugs me though is the stupid doors. They should be editable from the dungeon editor. Im gonna have to figure out how to fix that through hex... |

The overworld idea isnt without merit, but its not for this hack. It would probably go best with an overworld as a whole. Also, im attempting to minimize sequence breaking since some of the crystal dungeons are in light world as it stands right now. |

I completely agree. It does tend to get a little crowded when there are too many stickies. I wouldnt ask for this to be stickied unless I thought it was sticky worthy. Since there are so few Zelda 3 hacks out there, this (IMO) deserves to be stickied. At least until some major releases begin to happen. Thx for ur support, oh, and... since ive never actually got to say anything directly to u, ur editor for SMW kicks ass. Edit: Btw, i dont think Orochimaru is gonna be around for about a week. Yo, im up for beta testing. And as my first act, I may have found an error in ur overworld design. I noticed that ur sanctuary is backed up against water. What if a player decides to go swim down into that area. I was looking at an older version of ur overworld when I noticed that, and it looks as if you have blocked off that water in the newer version, so it may be fixed already. Later. Edit: I just realized that you had already signed me up. THX! Appreciate it. Edit 2: I suggest that before you give the rom to anyone, you make it perfectly clear that it isnt to be given to friends... ect. That is usually how betas are leaked, and it would be a real shame for such a work of art to be released before its ready.
