Read the readme that comes with it. Hes already done all the editing for dark and light world. Basically all that remains is the dungeon/caves, and debugging.

OK... I understood most of that. I wonder if anyone will ever create a utility like Hyrule magic, or Lunar Magic for their 64 counterparts.

Thx, but im not sure I want to continue this hack. The rom is kinda messed up after all that. I had to change lots of things to make it work. I am however making a full hack with both light world and dark world, and 10 new dungeons. Im not exactly sure, but it should be out around xmas.

Oh, I intend to take my time. The reason I am estimating Xmas is because this time I have some help. From what is done so far, this hack is looking quite amazing. Im not going to rush it like my last hack.

Sry, I havent had any time to work on that at all. Ive been so busy with School. Man, Calculus is a lot of work. Anyways, I wouldnt expect that area before next week, cause Ive got a midterm on monday. Sry.

Oh, and about the Omega room. That would be awesome, but if it means that I wouldnt be a character in the town, i wouldnt go for it. I really like the idea of the character in the town. But, it is of course always up to u since its ur hack.

Thx Deathfile. Glad you enjoyed it. The key to the third dungeon boss is that you had to use the hammer, bombs, or charge up ur sword. Also, you could have a max of 10 hearts at that point.

Anyways, check back for updates on my next hack. Ill probably be releasing some screens in the next few weeks.

Kefka, what do u mean "half these dungeons arent done"???

Glad u like the overworld, but I have had complaints that it isnt different enough from some people. That is understandable considering I started with the overworld, and I was still learning the program. Anyways, i am currently debugging it for release to the general public. Im gonna be posting it on larger sites, so I want to thank everyone who pointed out bugs. Its really helped it have a more professional look to it.

Btw, i may end up using some screens/areas from my hack in the new one. Ill just have to see.

Edit: Ive made some changes to the sanctuary, and I uploaded a new patch. If you have already finished the game, I wouldnt bother re-downloading it, but thats of course up to u.

Didnt I meantion that I had a beta tester? He played through it many times, and when I released it, it was basically bug free. There were only a few issues with the overworld that I have already fixed.

Yes, you can. I spent a week figuring out how to get SNES roms onto cartridges. And, if it can be done for SNES, im sure it can be done for NES. U just have to figure out how.

Edit: Oh, and u cant "Overwrite" Nes EEPROMS. You would have to program your own chips using an EEPROM Programmer and solder them into the existing carts.

Yah, that chest thing happens to me all the time. Im almost certain hat NEONswift is correct about why. The simple solution, dont put large items in small chests and vice versa.

Although, some items such as the power glove dont seem to have that problem. Not sure why.

hcs. those pics are hilarious.

Anyways, I would love to see an editor for Mario 64. I think it could actually be done. I wonder how hard it owuld be to get our hands on the source code for it? NM, Nintendo isnt just gonna hand them out at conventions. What do you guys think about creating one? I would kill for Mario 64 hacks. I dont think that it would be too difficult to hack once an editor has been made. I think its one of the more simple 64 games as well. Its only like 6 megs.

There is a SNES emulator for GBA that can be used with flash carts. Im not sure how good it is, but u could try it.

If you are trying to flash a homemade Snes cart, u dont need to decompile anything.

Does the SNES audio run off of SPC files?

Also, if I have an SPC file, is there a way to insert it into a different game, or port it over into say, Zelda 3 using HM?

So, this DJ Bouche knows how to switch around SNES music information? Cause I am making a Zelda 3 hack, and since its gonna be completely different, I would like to have some different music if possible.

It would most likely just be music from other SNES games inserted into Zelda. Oh well, I got a while to figure this stuff out.

Well, now that my latest Zelda hack is well underway, I figured I should let u guys in on a few things.

As you have probably guessed, its called "Dark Prophecy". It is a completely new hack, and it is entirely new. I have used nothing from the origional so far (aside from GFX of course). I am working on it with Dudeman, and its comming along great.

Well, it has occured to me that the input of only 2 people would limit the possibilities of the game, so I have decided to create this thread. If anyone has any thoughs, suggestions, or just something they think would be cool to have in it, please post here. It doesnt matter how unlikely it may seem, i will take it under consideration.

I am at the point where things start to come together, so now is the time to come up with inovative ways for things to fit together.

Your input is appreciated.
