I used AltaVista. I don't know why. I never tried Google until I was in 9th grade. I guess by figuring out the difference of my ages from then and now, and subtracting that number from Google's age, we can figure out how many years I've been a noob. But that's a level of math I don't want to think about.

I'd say it's the same.
Faces can get a bit wider overtime.
The biggest thing that stands out for me is that sort of curly smile, along with the dimple.
Plus all of that factual garble you mentioned.

Why do you even need the transparent background? The green border is thick enough so that you can just use a different background image entirely and it won't look awkward.
Right now the text is annoying to read too.

Otherwise, it's a good layout.

Edit: Actually, it could look sort of odd with a different background. Blah.

I chose Family Guy because, as others have said. the Simpsons are no good nowadays.
I'd probably choose Simpsons if it involved their golden years.. but I haven't seen the older eps in such a long time, so I couldn't say for sure.
