| I have a lot on my plate and so little time. If I don't get finished with my analysis papers and research hours, I'm screwed in getting my associate's degree next year. All this stuff should be complete no later than June 1. This board is one of my distractions and I need to be banned until then to keep me away. I also have a crapload of tests coming up next week and I need to study my ass off. Please ban me until June 1. Thank you. |

| You mean when your character presses up at an angle it slides a tad? 1.) You would have to set the friction to around 0.2 to about 0.8 and change the behavior if it interacts with the wall by making it bounce. That should get you somewhere. 2.) You can make simplistic pyramids, cylinders, ellipses, and boxes but I don't think it allows you to make anything irregular. You can make something odd by messing with the vertex positions in the scripts but you won't get anything pretty. It's best to use an advanced 3d game making tool or DarkBasic. I thought about that a long time ago and attempted to do so but keeping track of all the levels and which ones you can use is a real pain in the neck. I think all you really need to figure out is how to save and removing the "Time up!". Actually you can probably just use save spots in case the player dies. Did Mario 64 inpsire you?  |

Ah, the geekyness finally caught onto me (holy crap). A lot has changed over my vacation including my attitude. I'm into buying Newtype magazine and whatnot and learned some stuff from my friend, Robbie. She is the one who sold us our cat and her parent breed different animals. |
Anyway, I bought this nifty tracing table along with some thin paper, 48 prismacolor markers (+120 pencils), and several black markers. A total of $900 worth of equipment. I decided to try some things out, traced over my rough sketches and scanned things in photoshop. My first actual anime picture made from scratch! Maybe she needs a bow on the back? I could try the outline thing and ee how it turns out. Btw, you wouldn't believe how many times I had tried to make her as proportional as possible. A lot of head and neck adjustments have been made while I made this. |

The only thing that really bothers me is the ground on the first screens, could also use some consistency, though that's usually hard to achieve. Other than that, I love the use of the palm trees and everything else. |

Well, to start, the pencils can give a pretty rich pigment and can be smoothed with a transparent blending pencil. I found the markers especially useful because they don't overlap when you color in something and with proper blending, you can achieve some clean and smooth gradations. But like all good things, they're a pain if they were ever to run out. |
It's worth buying nonetheless.

Ever since that random sickness, my immune system kinda went downhill. I found out that my T-cell count was below average so I'm hooked on meds and cannot smoke cigs or drink tapwater.
