I'm a really ambitious person, may that be understood, not repeated.

1.) Sky dive into a field while spilling a bottle of water
2.) Sit in a lambrogini
3.) Lay down on the four state corners
4.) Travel to 6 continents
5.) Voluntarily spend a night in solitary confinement
6.) Visit a haunted house in Salem, Massachusettes
7.) Watch the whales from a ship in the Pacific
8.) Donate 10k to charity
9.) Kiss a pair of bi-curious twins
10.) Raise a tomboy/daddy's girl (slowly working on it since I don't have a son)
11.) Make at least $1,000,000
12.) Take a bath in Turkey (no not the bird!)
13.) Visit Mecca (I'm not muslim but I'll try it)
14.) Meet at least one member here or from Tek
15.) Travel to the bottom tip of South America
16.) View the Grand Canyon

That's all I can think of for now...

Okay, first I unlocked the Internal Sprites in the 8x8 Tile Editor. I cannot edit the graphics there and I also don't know the address for the GFX.

I tried YY_CHR and it won't open .smc files unless I choose to open
,.,x,A,))$sU(x.x)
Assuming it means "All Files" I can open any file with this; however, I get nothing but garbage. From this point I think YY_CHR is crap. Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

All I want to do is edit Mario's Graphics and I'm getting garbage results. Simply put, how exactly do I change Mario's graphics?

Did'nt happen in gamestop per se', but I did have a lot of those moments of stupidity in Funco Land. I was looking for some games and the guy at the register was playing some N64 game. I asked him a question about when memory cards would come in and after the 3rd time, he said, "Kid, there not gonna come if you get on my damn nerves. I'm busy, come back later." I asked him if they have Half-life, even though I could see it behind him. He said, "Aw hell! You think we have that game? That's not Half-life it's a display box! Now get out!". I told him I assumed that it was for sale since it DID have a price tag on it and it's been around for months. I also asked if anyone else could help me and he died on the game, slammed the controller and said, "You're REALLY pissing me off." He told the manager on me and the guy came by and asked, "What seems to be the problem?". I asked, "Did'nt you hear what your employee said? He's not helping me, he's playing a game.". The manager gave me a really bs answer and said, "He's only doing his job, if you cannot deal with it, you can leave. Nexttime ask some useful questions and don't ask me to come and solve your problems, because it's not going to happen.". I was kicked out of Funco Land, never to come back. I hate all of them because the employees slack off and don't help their customers.

I don't know. Somehow I've gotten this rather large lesion on my thigh. I did'nt get hit there nor did I eat or drink anything remotely spoiled. I did'nt think that was such a big deal until a few days later. I have dozens of small red dots all over and a few that are the size of dimes. Also a scab I did'nt know of appeared on my leg.
My arms are getting covered in tiny red dots and I've had colds fluctuate in and out.
Has anyone experienced this lately? Perhaps it could be hay fever? I don't feel sick but my body looks like it's getting there. Just to be safe I just applied calamine on myself.

I'm just very worried and confused about this. I've seen similaur pictures of HIV2 and I hope that's not the case. May see a doctor soon. I don't want to die early.

Do something to make her call the cops. Lock the doors, pretend like a madman is trying to kill you, then stop when the police arrive and do things as you normally do. They'll blame her for a false alarm.

Personally, I like Splenda. Even though it tastes a little "off" I like how it leaves a cold sensation on your tongue.
Other than that, brown sugar rules! You can make paint thinner out of it!

Saw it last sunday. It did in fact suck due to the fact that it was so terribly predictable. It seemed short overall and it was just... not scary. It's no fun when the main character goes into a supernatural world makes the entire movie lame.

I talked with the doc earlier today and I do indeed have chickenpox. I think I may have got it either from the weather or someone I may have accidently bumped up against in a hallway. Some of the blisters have been crusting a bit. That big one did and it's expected to heal and disappear in 2 to 3 weeks. I've been rather feverish and I won't be going to school or work for awhile. It really took the energy out of me.

Very true. For that I'm not always crazy enough to eat sugar by itself. Feels like sand in a way. Regulaur sugar is just nasty to eat alone. My sweet tooth has been fading over the years especially after I had braces for about 3-4years.

After all this waiting, I have it!
The gameplay is amazing and the stories are very cinematic but somewhat tutorialized. You get to meet up with your past and future self and save the day with a computer ally. The only drawback is that if they die, you fail. But they talk to you and whatnot and some of the outcomes are hilarious.

Cortez: "Time to split!!!"
Tipper: "Ow! That's not cool man!"

The graphics are better and there's more violence, not to mention blood and gore. Blood gushes out of decapitated zombies and splatters on the wall. Also, the deaths of certain characters are more convincing. R-110 dies with electricity flowing all over his body and no blood comes out when he's shot.

Although I only finished 2.5% of the game, I got some awesome characters.
So far, Deer Haunter is my favourite (It's a gigantic, 7ft tall deer with bloody hooks.)
Just like the classic, everytime you select a character, they animate and talk. I also got some of the characters I've unlocked from previous versions available. That means, if you've unlocked people like Dinosaur, Gingerbread Man etc, that part of your profile will be loaded and everything else will be added to it. However, some characters won't be seen again. I've unlocked all characters from TS2 and I only got about half of them back.

There are vehicles you can use to run across the map and/or kill people. Very fun!

The map maker does'nt have a terrain editor but it does allow you to make an outdoor level with different skies, weather, and tilesets. The computer opponents can be edited in a more advanced fashon. You can change their strength, toggle their spawn sound, leave them without a weapon, and set the maximum spawn to 999.

I still need to try out some more stuff. It's a very awesome game and worth the $50.

Lately, I've 2 gig flash stick in my pocket. It comes in handy but I have to be very careful with it. I almost washed it in my pocket and I would've been totally f*cked in my webmastering class.

Anyway, what do you use?

Okay, not trying to egg you on, but you're parents are weird. You would think that they'd know your friend well enough unless there was a point where one of you moved far away. Can't you just use a cellphone and give them a call at a decent hour? I'm sure that can be easily arranged, otherwise I'm all out of ideas... :\

Posted on 03-29-05 05:18 AM, in Optimism vs Pessimism Link
Overall I think the comparison is quite hypothetical. Don't ask me why, I'll confuse myself.

Pessimism tends to cause heart problems and shortens your life expectancy.
A pessimistic attitude does'nt just come out of the blue. It usually develops from stress, depression, or boredom. These factors cause your blood pressure to rise and stay at an unhealthy rate and it eventually clogs your arteries, which can increase the risk of a heart attack.

Optimism causes people to lose focus of reality. Although it's pleasurable to have, it's not always safe. You'll do stupid things and think it's alright when it actually isn't. You can get stuck in sticky situations much easier. Eventually you lie to yourself and your perspective becomes distorted. But you won't feel any pain from your wrong-doings, so go you!

My daddy is in jail (sentanced to 15 years) for trying to beat the living sh*t outta me. He used to be in the military and he lost his sanity after the divorce. My mother stole a large quantity of cash from his account, cheated on him, and blamed me for taking it out. So guess who got the blame then? The 13 year old kid who cannot do sh*t.

I don't think you'd want to know more than that.

Just keep your wits and don't let the DIs get to you or they'll put the fear of god on you. I've tried basic for a whole summer once and it's hell. Luckily, I was only 15 when I did it. I don't know how girls are trained exactly but you do what they tell you to do. If your DI is wrong, he/she is still right, like it or not.

You'll most likely go through several strenuous exercises that will really test your physical abilities. Don't expect things to be much easier. You sleep late and wake up early; by early, I mean 5:00AM sharp or earlier. Get ready in less than 15 minutes.

Inspection is also a major issue. Everyone has to be perfect and if one person messes up, everyone's in trouble. You don't want to be the one to screw things up. Although it's not likely, it's possible the other cadets will haze on you.

Just telling you generally what's ahead. You don't have to be scared, nor do you have to sign up. As long as you can make a choice you can begin or end it now.

Gay or indifferent, some people simply find it more palletable to love one another without the burden of children. They want to keep things simple and gay people can most definately satisfy themselves that way. If they want to be gay, so what, it's their choice, not ours.

From a religious standpoint, I can understand why chrisitans would find it wrong; the bible states it's a sin to sodomize. Telling people to not be gay is about as bad as attempting to convert everyone into chrisitians, otherwise condemning gays. No one can necessarily say "God hates you because your gay! You're going to hell!", because no one on earth has the right to dictate the "proper" anything.
