GBA ones were'nt at all bad, they had solid stories, persistant (but new) graphics, and classic gameplay. But trying to find your way through a castle got confusing. Usually gives me motion sickness, but hey, one can always enjoy a CV game nonetheless.

I don't see why it would be any different to put GBA games on DS, maybe the N64 versions will be available on it?

I used a digital camera first, recorded myself with a knife, recorded the crystal screen on the webcam, imported it to flash, copied the desired frames in to photoshop, created a "multiply" layer (the blood), added some scary pictures (suicide, and John wayne Gacy) also added some imperfections like a messed up tape. I saved each frame in one folder, then put them in gif construction set and sert the delay to 8.

All but the two pictures were original.

If you really like 3-d art, you should try out Lightwave 8. It's a modelling program that professionals (including the people from Pixar) use. I bet you'd make something really neat!

I like isometric pixel houses, it's spiffy.
Is that your house or something from the top of your head?

I am making a scrolling background for a game intro and so far I have a starry sky with a large planet and a bunch of hills topped with power lines. Each layer scrolls at it's own rate.

The actual size to this one would be too large...

I am also planning to make a city and a highway with a variety of civie cars speeding along.
I've got one finished so far...

Movies that sucked:
-The Gary Truman Show (boring and I hated the idea of being watched and stuck in a small world...)
-Passion of Christ (don't be offended, but that movie was going nowhere really fast.)
-Super Mario Brothers (It was more about the dinosaur theory than the game...)

Okay then,
If you think it sucks so bad then why post about it? I've already seen that art there. Pun intended?
If not, blam this thread because no one is going to comment your art if you hate it so badly...

You seem to be pulling off a Tim Burton making those designs. At least that's what I think... Reminds me of Jack Skellington's pinstripe outfit in a way. It's thin, colourless, and stripey.

What's so different about your city?

I live in San Antonio, Texas and have been here for 8 years.

Weather: Usually muggy and gets to about 45* (avg.) in the winter and around 95* (avg.) in the summer. When it's not muggy, it's rainy; there's rarely any snow.
Winters are rainy and cold, the roads become very slick mostly after the rain begins.

Small Things:
-Pepsi is called Pepsi Si (Pepsi Yes in Spanish)
-HEB is our local grocery store
-Judson High School is the biggest (and most notorius) High School in the city and has the highest crime rate.
-The Forum (a large strip mall located in Selma, about a mile and a half from where I live)
-Rolling Oaks Mall (a relatively old mall about 5 miles west of Selma)
-Rolling Oaks Theatre (a new theatre, very attractive arhitecture, located across the highway south of the Forum)

Language:
-Ese' (pronounced "essay" means "that" in spanish, it's slang for "friend", "n00b" or "inferior white person")
-Y'all (short for "you all" or "you guys")
-Wetback (rascist remark for mexican)
-Beaner (another rascist remark for mexican)
-Gringo (rascist remark for white or american)
-Pilgrim (rascist remark for white or northerner)
--famous saying, "Who you calling 'illegal', pilgrim!"

Food:
-Minudo (Traditionally made for new years, it's a soup with homony and pigs feet, very good with lemon)

Landmarks and Attractions:
-The Alamo (where David Bowie drew a line and Santa Anna and his troops massacred the Texans, a must see.
-Ripley's Believe it or Not! Wax Museum (Across the street from the Alamo, it has wax figures of different celebrities, a Believe it or Not oddity museum, a hunted house, and a birth of christ exhibit)
-Natural Bridge Caverns (Located North of the Downtown area, this is another big tourist attraction with deep underground caverns and amazing formations)
-Six Flags Fiesta Texas (A large theme park with tejuano music and german polka playing in the air, the most noticable ride, "the Scream")
-Canyon Lake (another attraction North of downtown, it's populaur for fishing, boating, skiing, and camping)
-The Alamo Dome (where the Spurs play their games and some major events take place)
-Bluestar Cafe (Located in the Downtown area, it's a brewery and an artgallery. They hold the night gallery, first friday, say si, and theatre performances. This is where I sell my paintings)
-Shlitterbahn (A Large waterpark located in New Braunfels near the Comal River, it has many slides, playgrounds, and tube shoots. Terrible service though... I almost drowned there thrice in one day, one incident where I was lodged underneath everyone as they crashed at the end of the shoot... bad experiences given the name, "Shitterbahn" in my book)

Events:
-Wurstfest (In New Braunfels, you go to the place where the event is held, it's different every year, and there's cheap beer, a variety sausages, and tons of food.)

Military Bases:
-Randolph AFB (Has the "Taj Mahal" and is the place I used to live in and where I work in AEMRS's database management facility)
-Kelly AFB
-Fort Sam Houston (An army base with a memorial graveyard and one of the biggest gyms in San Antonio)

Click on the image for a better look.

I've been messing around with lightwave, bored and distorting things to make them look like triangulaur pieces of crap, then I had an idea. I distorted a few things in photoshop and ended up with what appeared to be ice caps over an ocean. So I rippled the bottom, changed the height, added colour and fog effects and added a background with a moon and ba boom! I accidently got a landscape!

Here's my crappy model:

Not bad for a newbie... I did'nt expect anything more than the usual noob hacks.
Only thing I did'nt like was the impossible to beat Iggy with that one ledge on top.
You did better than some of the vets and you're on a good start! Keep up the good work!
