You mean in Ruby/Sapphire? If you have either a map or header offset, you can trace it back into a bank/level number.

Those special events are not Rubikon-compatible. The "special" command calls one of various ASM code blocks.

Opening offset 9C in Scripted is just insanely stupid. That's right in the ROM header. In the Nintendo Logo Data to be exact.

No kitty, you don't get some offsets from there. The main code here is "special 0x9C". With only scripted, you don't get any offsets from there.

.SAV files are made by the emulators to save what would normally be stored in a cartridge's battery-backed RAM, AKA Save-RAM.

Imagine you have a file "PokeBlue.GB". You play the game and save it. Notice you'll soon see a file "PokeBlue.SAV". That's the one the editor wants. The rest is pure standard GUI filemanagement shit.
