There was a thread about this in the SMW forum a long time ago (might have been on the old board) where someone had an idea about having SMW hacks with mp3 soundtracks using a special modification of Zsnes that would play certain mp3s in winamp depending on the data given in the music library or something like that. It never became more than an awesome idea though...

That's where the reading from the sound library thingy comes in, but it would only work with a specific game, making an emulator that will replace the music for all of the games out there is virtually impossible

In my experience, if you want something done, do it yourself.

EDIT: If it keeps getting corrupt, you might have a bad rom. Try editing the overworld on a fresh rom and see what happens.

Just a hunch... Have you by any chance been editing the title screen intro? If so, did you remember to uninstall the ASM needed for doing that after you were done?

This is what I mean with Swedes braging:

Yes, Norwegians are very nice, verynice indeed and the Norwegian girls are very cute, yes, very cute. But seriously don't YOU think that both Norway and Sweden are better than America? (Then again, I've never been to the USA so I've really not got anything to say in that matter but anyway... But I've seen stuff on TV!! (Voice in my head: "Shut up you stupid TV influenced banana brain!"))

I didn't say Norwegian girl looked better than Swedish girls
The average good looking rate is probably the same, however, in my experience, Norwegian girls tend to be more on the cute side while Swedish girls are more like "good lookers" and personally I prefer cute girls before good lookers. But of course we have cute girls here in Sweden too (especially this one girl I know who is so cute that I almost get butterflies in my stomach everytime I see her, she's the cutest little thing ever! ) as well as Norway has their share of jaw droppers

But we don't walk around worshiping our popstars and other celebrities like gods as they do in some other countries (*cough*usa*cough*) and we've "only" had two political assasinations ever, Olof Palme in 1986 (The year I was born ) and Anna Lindh quite recently on september 11 2003, she was stabbed by a psycho named mijailo mijailovic, this is what we think of him:

OH! Long shot, but why not? He had cooked and eaten one of those japanese poisonous blowfish without knowing what kind of fish it was, but then someone (possibly a japanese sushi master with a funny mustache) told him that it was poisonous and that he would meet with a certain death in the near future and he thought it would be better to kill himself than to die from poison!

Yes, he would, but then again, I never said that the sushi master cooked the fish, I said the man cooked it himself without knowing about the poison and then he heard from the sushi master that it was a poisonous fish
