| No idea. I guess I'm still a newbie because even at the old board, I hadn't posted enough to really be considered a regular, and I'm definitely not well-known. So....stranger maybe? Lurker? There's a chance that might change though, I've been having the urge to try my hand in the SB Arena lately... >=D |

| There was a listing of free web hosts at this site (http://www.thefreesite.com) but I haven't checked it lately. I mention it because you may turn up a few names that didn't get mentioned in this thread yet. Also they give brief reviews of each site, so you have an idea of what each one offers. But after having problems in the past with Geocities, having the free services reduced over time with Tripod, and currently running into number of file problems with FreeWebs (wish I'd known about that sooner), I may just forego free web hosting services altogether in the future. You just don't get as much as you used to. Anyway, good luck. |

| Ick, no fast-food salads for me. Not since Mom found mud in her salad at Burger King a few years ago. No comment on the supersize issue. I hardly ever eat at McDonald's anymore, anyway. |

The opening theme song to "Stellvia of the Universe."  It's been in my head at random times for the past two days.And this morning someone played "(You Spin Me) Right Round" (or whatever that song name is) by Dead or Alive on the radio. I imagine that one'll be next. >< |

| You know how some older people will walk into a room, meaning to get something, and then they forget what they came into the room for? I already do this, and I'm only in my early 20's. | My current avatar is of Hikaru, from the manga series Angelic Layer. (I understand there's an anime version of it too, but I haven't seen it yet.) No layout as of yet....I tried making some a couple of times on the old board, but I never liked the way they turned out. Plus I come from boards where individual layouts aren't even an option, so I'm not really used to them. Not quite.  |

| I mostly use 800x600, but only, ONLY because the other members of my family are either used to it, or in my dad's case, just have a hard time reading everything at a higher resolution. (Icon labels, web pages, etc.) But it takes me a grand total of two seconds to switch between that one and 1024x768, which is what I prefer. I do a lot of work on webages and in Adobe Photoshop - that resolution gives me more room to move menus and files around. So basically - either one of the two resolutions I mentioned would be fine. |

| I hate with a passion any radio commercial that uses a police siren, screeching tires, or honking horn as a sound effect. It makes me briefly panic, thinking there's a wreck or something nearby, when in fact there's nothing. I've toyed with the idea of calling up one particular radio station that I know plays these kinds of ads and complain, but I keep putting it off. =\ | |||

| *twitches at mention of Real Player* Use iTunes for the Mac in my room, but on this one I use a program called IrfanView. It's actually supposed to be a graphics viewer, but it's got a bunch of downloadable plugins that let it do more than that. It's not pretty or skinnable, but it plays my music, and that's all I want. I do have Windows Media Player on here, but I never use it. Takes too long to load. Because my computer's cursed. It has WinME for an OS. Feel free to point and laugh now, even though it wasn't my idea to have it on there... -.-;; |

The tallest one bent down a little to help her up. "You okay, Shirley?" "Uh-huh...but Taffy, that was like...that was like...the fifth one!" "Don't give up!" the third one said from underneath his jacket, which he was holding above his head. "We're almost there!" "Wakko's right," said Taffy. "Come on, let's hurry. If we can make it into that building, we'll be fine." Shirley got back on her webbed feet, and together, they ran for what they hoped was safety. |

Taffy: I know...I can't quite put my finger on it, but something's not quite right here. The color of the clouds is wrong...and the air doesn't feel humid at all. Maybe we should investigate it. Maybe that's why we wound up here. (Taffy peeks out from under the building's overhang and looks upward.) Shirley: Oh gawds....You wanna go aaalllll the way to the top of the building and look, don't you? Taffy: Unless you want to do that levitation thingy you're always doing, and try to drag us both up there with you. (shrugs) But you still look a little worn out. Let's rest a couple more minutes. (Wakko seems to be lost in thought, still staring up at the sky....) |
