No clue, like a large majority of people I don't really have that much goal-making in life, heck I'm glad I can still go day to day. I was slated to do comp. science or something related to that area...but now that college expenses have been thrown into the melee (me not being about to go) it's become a bit of a problem.

I don't really know what will happen career-wise, my only thing that I'd want in life I already have anyways, so it's not like I'd be regretful if I didn't get off the ground very well, not like I'm going for multi-millions or something.

Okay...here's what's been bugging me for some time...how in the heck can an animal or a human being's brain power be measured in terms of a power of a computer...I just don't see the logic in it because they aren't even under the same process of information...and it's man and machine anyways to begin with.

As for the question, most dogs can dog paddle, I'd probably save the person first unless the dog was hurt, then I'd probably try to save both simultaneously, it's a life on the line so it matters either way...but it wouldn't probably mean the same if it was like an ant or something.

As for ants to one murder, probably counts as one for each time you step on one, but like anyone's going to hold it against you. I doubt very seriously that any religion's going to try you over the death of a fly via fly swatter from you and that you'd have to make in up in purgatory by being a fly being swatted to death millions of times.

Thing is, we've got the role of being the pinnacle race of animal out there, I mean c'mon, we're human, we're egotistical like that. So obviously, not too many people are going to be after you for a murder of an ant moreso than a human being but that doesn't mean it isn't humane if you make your life out to drill ant's nests out of pleasure either. Really, there's not that much of a straight answer I can give you other than respect, I mean would you like some big ant dropping on your house? Probably not, but I doubt very seriously that anyone's going to be interested in hearing a 'save the ants' campaign when most are considered pests to begin with.

Yea, I second that, that's pretty cold regardless of religious beliefs and whatnot. I don't know where you get how anything living doesn't have a soul (if such a thing exists, if nothing else, call it life force).

Yea, main thing to remember is that as long as people can follow what you're writing then you can use whatever format.

Anyways, will do.

Ethics/Religion in general is extremely touchy. Especially for those that are serious in the matter.

That said it BETTER NOT erupt into one...

Alpha-II SPC player plugin for Winamp...get it...use it well.

...and like Disch said, you can just output the SPC to anything given the options in output, I usually do WAVE first though, just in case I have to edit it...I'd rather deal with an uncompressed file at it's best quality if I can before I finalize it with MP3/OGG.

Worst is probably the first time I attempted Gunbound...thought it was Scorched Earth like in terms of every man for himself and fired at my own team frequently...oh well.

Best, and this is probably not as online as I'd like it be, but the high school I went to had a small network of comps and there weren't too many people that really knew how to add stuff on the comps (except myself and a few of my friends). We ended up getting DOOM on the majority of the ones in the computer lab in the high school area and the library and eventually had an 11-person deathmatch going via DooM Legacy. Friggin' awesome too because it was gameplay over one of the WADs I made back in the day. Scored 50 frags in under 7 minutes. ph34r teh use of the Plasma Rifle for heavy cumulative damage and BFG9000 for triple frags.

Well, that was fun decrypting all of that English.

It's quite simple really, people change, and most times if there's something about a person that someone doesn't like or if some conflict gets set off between two people, especially around the teenager age because apparently emotions flare a lot worse then, usually it gets to the point where people can't get along anymore.

That, and sometimes people are just plain stupid in terms of popularity. High School is notorious for that.

Can't say I haven't let a friend or two go myself though, I have quite a bit of patience...but when someone screws around with me too long I eventually tell them how it is, and it's very rarely that someone recovers from it afterwards and the two get along again.

It's just life in general, and for anyone affected by that, like if a friend left you or ex-friend or whatever, you've still got plenty of life left to find several other people. Chances to make a friend are daily, so go for broke.

Doesn't really compare to the ten or so gigs I've cleaned off this thing in the past few weeks. I need another hard drive.

Okay...did you guys see the link in YD's post?

HELLO!!

Why in the world would we need a spam board? Can't you guys be good little children and behave?

Alternatively, you could always post on a spam board somewhere else...but you know...we do kinda have to keep it somewhat real okay?

And there really aren't any rules in LT other than common sense, Anya. Don't post shit that people are going to complain about. We don't people bitching about what's wrong with the board if a forum like this ever got added.

So take what you have or leave it.

I'm probably going to have to agree with that, as I said earlier, if you want to get the whole entire thing made out under those rules, you're going to have to know at least 10 people, 30 if you go for the maximum of 3 people per section.

I have a feeling that some of us don't know that many people there.

But something like max's 'all YD' thing or votes that don't even correspond to the right category (mostly mod/admin/regular member best votes) then yea...I could see those going out the window like that. But otherwise, that's the best we can do with the large load of stuff that we have to answer to. I think I did rather well with what I was given and I broke the five-person rule.

You're going to hate it if and when they ever get computers running off of biological material. It's been theorized to use something like DNA strands as a processors for information.

Heck, I would wonder outside of religious believers if people actually believe that there is such a thing as a soul to begin with. It at least brings up an old Simpsons ep. Bart sold his soul for five bucks, pretty good ep. overall.

Not necessarily...there's still people I talk to/go visit downstate every so often and I've been out of high school for about two years now. It's extremely difficult yes...since they're all 70 miles away, but IM helps with that.
