| 27 composite and your mother wasn't impressed? Sounds like my father back in the day with my grades...I think the best I cranked out was a 25 composite, with Math being my best at 30...I somehow brought English up from 21 on my first try to 28 (for writing, go senior teach)...but I actually dropped from 26 to 22 in Science the second go round...go figure. 27 composite is goddamned impressive...actually breaching 24 or around there is really good. 36 and you cheated or you've got too much intelligence for your own good |

Actually, he probably could, considering he jumped rooftops easily back in Nerima, and the forest outside the castle wasn't that much trouble either...but then again there was definitely a difference with the way she ran, and Ranma figured that it was towards the boots that she was pointing at. Well...if nothing else...and if she got bored...she go always go 'Ranko' and see what was up with them. Ranma: "Hmm..." Ranma figured that maybe Anya wasn't home. | Rain: "Eheheh..." The position that Anya was in was comical, to say the least. Avoiding the blast was relatively easy, considering all she had to do was swim up a little ways and watch the blast and the debris go right under her and slam into the other side of the wall... Rain: "Kinda tough being underwater, isn't it?" It was fun just keeping the opposition slightly ahead of Anya...but if anything else, she still had her trump card ready to play, just in case. |

| I've done 301 back in the day with 20 hours of work. ~15 posts per hour...or a post every four minutes or so. And this was on a 56K. It's not that hard if there's activity and people willing to help you out... |

| Ranma watched Rain bolt... Ranma: "Oh yea...just...leave him there...after he passes out on us..." Ranma chuckled, he took a look at Colleen to make sure he was, in fact, relatively decent... Ranma: "Hmm..." Well...for the most part he checked out, for what little he knew on the subject, but there were a few side things he got from Kasumi and the doc... Ranma: ~I'm no doc...or at least no Tofu-sensei...but I think he'll be fine...just looks like he's worn out...wonder why...guy's been out for months, right?~ Ranma shook his head and sighed...yep...he was back in chaos yet again...it had a familiar bit to it that he liked, even if most of it annoyed him; it was a sign that things weren't going to be dull for a while. Oh...how true that could be... >>> ???: "Hmm..." Being in an 'evil organization'-repped crew had it's perks. For one, most times, you got the opportunity to help blow things up like vid games. Oh the glamour. The rest of it, work work and more work, sucked however...that and maybe the whole conscience thing...but hey...it was either do this...or face whatever higher up there was, what choice was there then? Though, it was fun to see this prototype go up to first phase today...it had been a long drawn out process over a half year that had yielded this moment: A charred remnant of a clone that didn't have any function left whatsoever... ...Well, at least in the fighting sense, but she did give some good data. That would be enough to make for the next dozen or so to be sent out soon. It was lucky though...to get to where they were today...even funding dropped to the toilet, and somehow things skyrocketted again, someone got interest in the project and started funding the works of the organization... So why the heck did he never know anything? True, he was an underling to Nagasaki-sensei...but the doc had to know something. Too bad he was lost in that fire a few months ago...he had some decent work...and we has definitely respected by many until he got a weird evil streak going for him when the whole funding thing happened. One of his 'decent works' was sitting right in front of him, even though she was dead, she was one of many that should've been dead and destroyed. Luckily...before the previous lab that Nagasaki worked at was destroyed...he had sent 'data' a few minutes before it's collapse on impulse. The reproduction data was very much in it's early stages, even though the project of cloning had been going on for almost a century...and it only stemmed around a specific host. A certain host that was in the Delta series, ironically the first and perhaps the most volitale and unstable...but nonetheless...he worked with what he was given...and over the months...got the girl up and running. She was a real beaut too...whoever got clone data for this one really knew their picks, if there was someone asking for a nice-looking clone at least, there was little known about it's test capabilities other than it's output was 'excellent'...oh yea...fat lot to go by. So the go-ahead was given...and the test subject was released to engage Prime...yet again. The results were less than impressive...upon looking at the charred remains of her...this was no fighter...or the data that was given was horribly incomplete. ???: "Hmm..." He stopped on one point of the visual interlink that was on playback now and got a zoom-in on a character that was out and fighting. One...short, petite, blonde haired girl...looked like a scientist with the gear and googles she had on...and one pigtailed boy...looked like he was the one that creamed her. Wait...pigtailed... He took a look at the clone. Hmm...must be a coincidence. He kept up with the playback. The end showed a nice view of the forest canopy...obviously the clone was gone...but the image was still there, for the most part. The pigtailed boy moved into view overhead and the image phased a few times and went black, end of data. He rewound the data a bit, slow motion, zoom on and got a look at the boy's shocked expression. That was all it took. ???: "Heh...so it seems she's somehow related to this one guy...well I'm glad someone told me this before I went solo and did all the work on trying to get her up...maybe he'll have what I...eheh...need..." Turning back to the bat-data in front of him, he took a look at the physical outputs and other miscellaneous things during the battle's happening and made a note on the one pigtailed boy for possible comparable, if not compatible, data to be viewed later on... He took out a microcassette recorder: ???: "This should be an interesting greek letter for S-series. Epsilon 1 is showing decent battle data and interesting opposition data. Will continue furthering this observation and incorporate said data into next wave. Clone runs were made from regenerative projects from previous lab where Delta was worked on, eight total. Next engage time will be initiated after I have finished up work with this one." ...and cut the record. He took a look at her one more time, she was on her backside, barcode: E-0001 clearly visible but charred as well. Poor waste of beauty but hey, it was clone data and apparently it was working. This beaut was turning out to be more of a fighter than he hoped for... ???: "This job just got a hell of a lot more interesting..." Had there been officials and other doctors and scientists around, said language wouldn't have passed well...but to hell with formalities when he was the only one around and doing the majority of work for them for the time being until they got restaffed...which seemed to be taking a while for some reason, probably more funding issues. ???: "Well...might as well get back to this then..." >>> Ranma closed the door gently. He didn't want to wake Colleen up and have another go round with that again. He visualized Colleen real fast...then he got a weird feeling when he remember that one...thing...just today. It couldn't have been real...or at least...it didn't feel real. He shook his head again...he had to get things cleared up with Anya soon. |

| Alarming or no, Rain did her usual best at blocking it, but kept a little leeway open to let one or two graze her before she instinctively dodged left on a punch she felt come her way only to grab the outstretched arm. She then swung Anya over her shoulder and straight down towards the bottom of the pool via a power toss. Yet another indention for the pool. Rain: "Ooooy...you're causing more damage to the pool for your body alone than I am...or did you want me to take up the sparring another notch?" |
