| I did the exact same thing last month for mine. Great isn't it? And probably my last one ranks up there quite a ways...most of the one that were any good were when I was like...5 or 6...and after there the trend started to die for everyone for some reason. |

| Naw...I've got it too...in fact school here started the 18th of August. Although my problem was that I was a late entry (bill issues) and the classes I picked this sem, my 5th one, it's pretty much what slates me as a half and half. | Ranma: "Uh...maybe it's a trick to lower our guard?" Ranma shrugged. For all he knew it could very well be, considering who they were dealing with. He wondered why the change of clothes but maybe it was to blend in. His gut told him that people that looked remarkably similar to him spelled trouble. Course then he seemed to draw it. It was one of those problems with his personality; he seemed to attract it. >>> Tracy: "Hmm..." Tracy was about finished analyzing all the data. It was about what he expected in terms of results. Not a single one of them were capable of beating the crew that they were sent against. At 5% power that was. Since that was what they were defaulted to. No, he had to give the Prime team a lot more respect than that. It wasn't like he personally held a grudge against them, far from it; he barely knew of them. But when you're on a science team that was barking orders to eventually study one of them, well, results had to be made and they had to be made quickly. So why was it that he didn't send them off full-throttle? Not like anyone knew their potential, or at least many. In fact, he really wasn't in the mood of sending off anyone of them in order to kill or anything, just to retrieve what they wanted and be done with it. His intelligence was made to help, not harm, and he'd be damned if anything he helped create were used to do destruction in this or any world. So why was he working for this place again? He shook his head, too many questions, not enough data. It was as simple as that. Why question something if you aren't in that bad of a position to begin with. Although it was probably only a matter of time before upstairs started figuring out that he was stalling. Or... Amy: "So...why -did- you only send them out at default anyways?" Tracy jumped. He didn't see her behind him. Actually, he was too busy thinking about too much shit to really care about the presence of anything. Tracy: "That was only supposed to be a test run anyways. Why would I throw something out like that full blown. If anything, think about the subject we're attempting to restrain; if we show everything we have now, obviously they're going to have an advantage on us if we try this again." Amy shook her head. Amy: "No, they already have a leg up on us because of the fact that we didn't go all out and we didn't succeed in getting Prime taken care of." Amy took a seat next to the desk that he was working at. For as long as Amy knew him, she knew he was one to keep things simple. At the same time though, he was one that never wanted to press the limit. He never seemed to want to go further when an opportunity presented itself. It just didn't seem right to her, for whatever reason. He was pretty much -the- person in charge of something that was overly powerful and he didn't want to use it. Call her a bit of a power-freak if you will, but she was curious as to why he would never push the limit with what he was given. Even in tests where they weren't engaging anything he never went far with them, only what was required. Amy: "I'd at least figure that you'd keep their offense and defense techniques up all the way. After a while it was pathetic." Tracy: "Like I said. It was only a test. I wanted to see if it was going to be enough on defaults. Obviously it wasn't." Amy sighed and shook her head. Obviously he wasn't seeing this the right way. Rather than push the situation she got up and decided to make her way out. She wasn't going to push him; he was stubborn and she hated that. But she wasn't going to put him in a position where he was uninformed. She stopped at the door of his office and put her hand on the ledge towards the outside, not turning as she made another comment. Amy: "They're not going to like that you're stalling." Tracy froze from what he was doing but didn't turn. Amy: "Just...don't keep coming up with excuses. You know as well as I do that you could've put in a lot more than you did today. Eventually you're going to be in a position of question and I'm not going to remotely be in a position of helping you." Tracy still didn't move but he definitely had the feeling that this was going to eventually come to a point where she was right. It was only a matter of time. Amy: "Anyways...don't worry about it. If they bark for another test run or something, you'll know." She turned and smiled slightly before asking a question on her way out. Amy: "So are you going to be here all night? Heaven only knows you've been here the entire time since the run was over." Tracy: "Ah...yea. I should be done soon. Just give me a while." Amy: "Okay. Just thought you might be interested in the nightlife, since a few people are going to be hitting Vale soon and figured you might want to head in with us." Tracy: "Vale? That's a bit out of your way, isn't it?" Amy: "Hardly...considering we have...well heh...we have a lot better transport that most." Tracy didn't argue with that one. Tracy: "We'll see. I might be out of here in an hour or so and I'll talk with you then." Amy perked up on that and smiled a little more. It was good to get him out of here, actually it was good getting out here for anyone period. Amy: "Great! We'll talk then." She turned and made her way out, leaving Tracy to his thoughts. Damn it, he didn't need more; he already had enough on his plate as it was. Tracy: "Hmm..." Tracy still looked at the E-ARM schematic that was on his desk. They never used it, and it still was in it's experimental stages. He was surprised that Amy never question what was on his desk when she sat there but figured she was preoccupied with something. Only the first dozen were fitted with this attachment, but since they were all destroyed, he didn't have a means of adding on to the newer versions. At least, just yet, they were expensive as hell to make. He took another look at the next batch soon to be complete. Bio-genetics weren't something he liked being part of, but it did generate some interesting work, especially with creating something from a singular subject, which, in the field of medicine for example, had many uses. It had many uses period; he knew that, and that's what intrigued him...but he didn't like the feeling of playing 'God', morally there was something lacking. He hoped he didn't have to send another dozen or more out anytime soon and started to compile and finalize his data. >>> Two: "W...wait. I don't know what's going on here a...and I was just going to ask this person if she knew who I was. I...is that so wrong?" Two was getting even more confused. Was she a threat to these people and not know it. Her head really started hurting when she tried recalling and then another blare in her head started to go off as some incoherent jargon started going off in her head. INTERCEPT...kksh... PRI...kk...s.... Two: "Ow!" Two fell, or rather tripped on something behind her and hit her bottom. Nice soft landing though, she turned to look at what she landed on and notice that it was a guy who looked like he was in more of a coma then sleeping. She got off him rather fast, not minding the ensueing headache. Two: "I...I'm serious. Do you...do you guys know me?" It sounded weird to say, but all she knew was that she had to know. >>> Elsewhere, there was a large amount of bashing coming from the forest just on the outskirt of Vale, towards the northern plat. It sounded like someone wanted a large amount of lumber work done and done fast. Who would work towards nightfall was anyone's guess, but it was enough to wake everything in there. That was when a gigantic roar was let out of it and the crashing ensued towards the edge of the forest and something enormous found it's way out of the collecting brush, that being the multiple trees that were being tanked by the raging beast. Whatever it was, it looked pissed, and on closer inspection it had some battle scars that seemed to be remnants of the fact that he'd been through a lot. But a twenty-foot bear-like creature that probably weight a ton or two was not going to be something that was going to be stopped easily. What made matters worse, after it looked down on the city, it made it's way downhill and made a charge towards its limits. | Ranko shook her head. Why was she still up and crying? She should head back to bed, maybe try to cram in a few more hours of sleep that was eluding her. Maybe if it wasn't for the fact that it was extremely hard to do so as the nights proressed. It scared her to sleep. Yes, it didn't sit well with her either, not being able to sleep and being scared of something, anything, but eventually she figured she would get used to it, or go insane trying. She didn't like the second option. Ranko: "C'mon...snap out of it." Ranko lightly slapped herself to get her bearings straight, maybe in spite of the lack of people to do it for her. She was pretty bad off in terms of feelings right now, which was something she wasn't used to. Must be being a girl so much. She went back into her room, closed the door, sighed, and didn't move.
